National Start-Up Day: Sanjana Sanghi joins hands with UNDP India to promote youth action and entrepreneurship: ‘This is my biggest honour yet’

Sanjana Sanghi is usually in the headlines not only for her exciting projects but also for the humanitarian work that she does. This star has been at the forefront to expand Youth education, women empowerment, and other societal issues. The United Nations Development Programme India announced their partnership with Sanjana Sanghi, revealing that she is the face of their Flagship Program Youth Co:Lab India.

Speaking about this actor Sanjana Sanghi said, “ In my 7-year-long humanitarian journey, this is my biggest honour yet. I hope this provides you guys a springboard to make for a far stronger case and appeal at Summits, Youth Panels, and Festivals this coming year. If the UNDP has recognized our work and considered me worthy to be the face of their flagship program Youth Co:Lab, media platforms are ought to take notice of that credibility.”

Along with United Nations Development Programme Sanjana Sanghi will be actively participating in encouraging the process of finding solutions to India’s massive issues through social entrepreneurship and innovation. Youth Co:Lab helps in encouraging young social entrepreneurs to take their initiatives to a higher level and make their dreams come true.

On the work front, Sanjana Sanghi will be seen next in Dhak Dhak and an untitled project with Pankaj Tripathi. The actress also has many other exciting projects in her pipeline.

Jr. NTR reacts to RRR not being India’s official entry for Oscars 2023: ‘Don’t think there is a lot of politics going on’

A week ago, RRR witnessed a glorious win at the Golden Globes 2023 in Los Angeles where the film won the award for Best Song for ‘Naatu Naatu’. SS Rajamouli, Jr. NTR and Ram Charan along with music composer MM Keeravani were in attendance for the awards night. Following the win, they won Best Foreign Language Film and Best Song for RRR and ‘Naatu Naatu’ respectively at Critics Choice Awards. While RRR is winning accolades in the West, the film wasn’t chosen as India’s official entry for Oscars 2023. Instead, the Gujarati film Chello Show was sent for the Academy Awards.

In a recent interview with Variety, Jr NTR opened up on why RRR was not selected as India’s official entry for the Oscars. He said, “I don’t think there is a lot of politics going on with what films should go. I think the panel, which is sitting down there knows what they do the best… Hindi has primarily been a national language for a very long time and that’s why it has taken prominence. For us, choose RRR or don’t choose RRR, RRR has already made us proud.”

Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Rajamouli are back in Hyderabad after promoting the movie in LA as ‘Naatu Naatu’ has been shortlisted for Best Original Song at Oscars 2023.

On the work front, Jr. NTR will soon begin shooting for his next NTR 30 which will be directed by Koratala Siva of Janatha Garage. The film is scheduled to release on April 5, 2024. He also has NTR 31 on the cards which will be directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel.

Dahaad starring Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah to premiere at Berlin International Film Festival 2023, see first look

Dahaad starring Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah in the lead, has been selected for the Berlinale Series Competition.  The show is set in a small, sleepy town in Rajasthan. An 8-part, a slow-burn crime drama that follows sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati and her colleagues at the local police station unravel a curious case.

When a series of women are mysteriously found dead in public bathrooms, Sub-Inspector Anjali Bhaati is tasked with the investigation. At first, the deaths appear to be clear-cut suicides but as the cases unravel, Anjali begins to suspect that a serial killer is on the loose. What follows is a riveting game of cat and mouse between a seasoned criminal and an underdog cop as she pieces together evidence before another innocent woman loses her life.

Tamannaah Bhatia flaunts her uber glam look in Gnama electric blue midi dress at an event

ELLE Graduates 2020 took place at Istituto Marangoni on January 15, 2023. It’s safe to say that the event was a grand celebration of emerging talent and trail blazers of the fashion industry. Sharvari Wagh, Rohit Saraf, Vijay Verma, Tamannah Bhatia and many others were present at the event. Sharvari Wagh turned showstopper whereas Tamannaah Bhatia took home the Mould Breaker award for breaking stereotypes and being unafraid to express herself.

Tamannaah Bhatia has established a solid reputation for herself in the Indian film business over the years. She has not only taken Instagram and the film world by storm, but truly is the one to watch when it comes to sartorial choices. The south Indian actress, who has been providing us with the hottest looks lately, was spotted at Elle Graduates wearing a lovely blue midi dress by brand Gnama. Her dress features a deep V-shaped neckline, an asymmetrical hem, and a totally covered back with a gold-tone zip closing, adding to her bold personality. Her dress is a bright and lively pick for the event because it also has broad shoulders and a form-fitting shape.

Styled by celebrity stylist Shaleena Nathani, Bhatia paired the look with her hair tied back, with a few face-framing tendrils left out at the front and a flawless face of dewy makeup and a touch of nude lip tint. She added a statement golden earring from viana vintage and left her neck bare – which let her clothes do all the talking. That is, of course, until you got to her feet, which were decked out in the pretty magenta Christian Louboutin heels, elevating the appearance to a whole new level.

On the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia was last seen in Babli Bouncer, in which she played the role of a young female bouncer. Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, the family entertainer also featured Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Bajaj, and Sahil Vaid in pivotal roles. Tamannaah will star opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Bole Chudiyan. Tamannaah Bhatia will be seen alongside Vijay Varma in director Sujoy Ghosh’s segment in Lust Stories 2.

EXCLUSIVE: Taran Adarsh shares his expectations from Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani; says, “Karan Johar’s track record has been very strong as a director”

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, talking about Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, film critic Taran Adarsh stated, “I have tremendous expectations from Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Karan Johar returns to the director’s chair after a gap. Last he directed was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”.

Further sharing his expectation from the film and director, Taran added, “The thing with Karan is that you expect larger than life movies, great music, great production values and big stars. It is a very strong combination and we are looking forward to this film because Karan Johar’s track record has been very strong as a director and one hopes that he delivers it again”.

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani has created ample amount of buzz owing to its star cast. Not just the lead cast but the film also has an enviable supporting cast with Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra and even Jaya Bachchan playing pivotal roles.

Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was slated to release in February this year. However, owing to the maternity break of Alia Bhatt, the shoot schedule of the film was shifted. The film is now slated to hit the big screens on April 28, 2023.
