Star Plus kicks off new show titled Chashni starring Amandeep Sidhu and Srishti Singh

Star Plus is known to deliver intriguing and interesting content for its viewers. Known for shows like Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Teri Meri Doriyaann, Imlie, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Rajjo and Faltu, the shows of the channel focus on family drama, and romance and it has been well accepted by the viewers. Now adding to the list is another show titled Chashni starring Amandeep Sidhu and Srishti Singh in lead roles. The show is being produced by Sandip Sikand’s Sol Production.

But unlike the sweet name, our sources close to Chashni reveal that this show is will actually add spiciness to Indian television.  Bringing a big mix of relations on the screens, it will be based on an unusual and twisted bond between two sisters, Chandni and Roshni. The complicated relationship of two sisters gets another loop added when they turn into mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. The source said, “The new show will be strictly opposite to its name and will be filled with a lot of spicy entertainment. With the show, Star Plus is raising its bar by creating a new leap in Indian television. Also, this new and spicy story is not just based on two sisters but also saas-bahu. Very well studded with a lot of twists and turns, this new show is about to bring a new story to the audience and it has never been seen before on television.”

“It would be apt to say that this channel, in particular, is a hub where the audiences can witness all emotions, ranging from love, drama, revenge, and many more through its highly engaging shows. And now, they will get to watch the spiciest show of Indian television with Star Plus’ Chashni,” added the source.

Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada certified ‘U/A’ by CBFC with duration of 2 hours 25 minutes

Last year, Kartik Aaryan proved to be one of the most successful actors with his release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 re-invigorating the box office and later in the well-received OTT release Freddy. Currently, the actor is gearing up for his next release Shehzada. Also starring Kriti Sanon, the film, directed by Rohit Dhawan, was initially slated to hit screens on February 10, but the release was later pushed to February 17.

Now, we hear that the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) has cleared the film with a U/A certificate. Interestingly, while the film has been cleared, Shehzada features a run time of 145.27 min [2 hours, 25 min, 27 sec]. Being a remake of the Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo released in 2020, Shehzada promises to be an all-out entertainer complete with action, drama, humour, and romance. From the trailers released so far, the film has managed to generate quite a bit of interest among the audience. Besides this, Shehzada also features the recently released track ‘Character Dheela 2.0’ which will be featured in the end credits of the film, much like the ‘Bhool Bhulaiyya’ title track.

As for his future releases, post-Shehzada, Kartik Aaryan will be seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani.

Aaliya Siddiqui expresses her wish to ‘divorce’ actor-husband Nawazuddin Siddiqui; claims he never accepted their second child

Readers would be aware that Aaliya Siddiqui and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are currently facing a massive relationship turmoil with the filmmaker-wife alleging that the Siddiqui family has been torturing her. She had accused them of locking her within a confined space in the house along with her kids and even how they refused to let her use the amenities. In her last social media post, she had posted about how security guards were placed inside her house to keep an eye on her. And now, sharing a long note on the same platform, Aaliya has accused her actor-husband of not accepting their second child because it was born out of their ‘wedlock’, when they were in a live in relationship with each other post their divorce.

In a long Instagram post that was shared by Aaliya Siddiqui, she has posted a video of her having a massive argument with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, along with a couple of social media posts and documents wherein Nawaz has referred to Aaliya as his wife. In the post she also penned a note saying, “I regret giving my 18years to a man who has absolutely no value of me in his eyes.” She recalled her first few days of meeting Siddiqui, continuing, “Firstly ,I met him in 2004 and we both went in a living relationship during his stay at Ekta Nagar, Charkop, Mhada, Mumbai and we where he himself, me and his brother Mr.Shamasuddin Siddiqui use to stay together in a 1 room where we started our journey together and was living very happily. I believed that he loved me and will keep me happy for long life.”

“At that time, he did not even had money for food hence I and his brother Mr.Shamas-Uddin managed everything without any personal benefit. Then we got married in the year 2010 and post 1year I deliver a child. Also, I sold my flat given by my mother for delivery purpose and even gifted him a car (Skoda Fabia) from the same money so that he could not travel by bus which he used to,” she added.

She further went on to state, “And now after so many years, he completely changed and became inhuman. This man was never a great human being. He always disrespected his ex-gf’s, his ex-wife and now disrespecting me and targeting his kids as well. How can a person stoop so low when every document and evidences proves that this man has stated me as his spouse. If I would be aware that in future I will have go through with all this pain that I am facing from past 12years, then I would have rather choosen to go with someone who would even has little money but not a person like him who along with the superstar became more liar and a cheater about which I had no idea when I got married to him.”

“He is stating that he gave me a divorce after the birth of our 1st child and than again post divorce I got into a relationship with him and we gave birth to our second child while being in a living relationship and I came to know later that he never considered me as his wife when we were not even divorced. These allegations are so disgusting and handling these things are so disrespectful. Hence, my only intention of this message is to show everyone that, this man is stopped so low and I want to show his true colours. Cheater can be of any caste and one who has good upbringing will never cheat. Hence, I request everyone not to go by the religion of a man. Justice to be prevailed,” she concluded the note.

Aaliya Siddiqui’s lawyer had also filed a complaint against the Siddiqui family alleging, charges of mental, physical, financial, and emotional assault.

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is currently gearing up for the release of his film, Selfiee. The actor will be seen with Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha. Ahead of the release, the actor is keeping the fans engaged with the release of two songs – ‘Main Khiladi’ and ‘Kudiyee Ni Teri’. Amid this, the actor was seen sharing a dance with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.

Akshay Kumar took to his social media accounts to share a video of him and Mohanlal doing the bhangra at a wedding. Both of them enjoyed the dance together on the beats of the dhol playing in the background. Akshay’s caption on the post read, “I’ll forever remember this dance with you @mohanlal Sir. Entrepreneur Shikha Mittal claims Anil Kapoor helped her keep calm on a turbulent flight; says, “He held my hand and said it’s ok”

Anil Kapoor recently assisted in reducing a fellow traveller’s anxiety. A recent flight passenger who had a cordial interaction with Anil Kapoor has spoken extensively about the incident. Entrepreneur Shikha Mittal uploaded a selfie with Anil Kapoor on LinkedIn and wrote about how he held her hand during turbulence on their journey. 

Shikha Mittal claimed in a social media post that she would never take a selfie with any celebrity in her normal life but felt obliged to do so after Anil Kapoor consoled her during turbulence on the trip. Shikha posted a selfie she took with Anil Kapoor on Instagram and wrote, “I would never take a picture with any celebrity. Even this picture is NOT with Anil Kapoor. It’s with a co-passenger. 2+ hours of uninterrupted conversation.” 

Sharing the topics they discussed, she added, “Part 1 (today) will share the topics we spoke about and how we got talking. Topics: 1. we spoke about anxiety. 2. He asked about my profession and hence we discussed financial planning, retirement plans, money management and writing a will. 3. We discussed movies he plans to do each year. 4. We spoke about Madhuri and Sri Devi. 5. We spoke about Lamhe a not-so-successful movie yet loved by so many. 6. We discussed average and extraordinary people. 7. We discussed luck vs coincidence. 8. We discussed property prices in Mumbai. 9. We talked about fitness. 10. We discussed our common love for coffee.” 

Further revealing how they started to talk, she said, “The moment flight took off, the luggage box above me opened and started flapping. The flight got turbulent right at the take-off. I have always been bad on flights. In 2022, I developed added fears due to a health condition I am going through because of vaccine/covid (cause unknown). The moment I kept my hand on the divider in the middle of the two seats, my co-passenger held my hand and said ‘Hey it’s ok. Tell me your name. Let’s talk’.” 

Shikha revealed that they spoke and laughed for the entire two-hour flight and she didn’t realise when it ended. “If that moment he didn’t speak, I would have never spoken in the interest of keeping his privacy. But those 2 hours I laughed endlessly and it felt like the flight landed a few seconds post taking off. (Pata bhi nahi chala). When it landed, Anil Ji said: ‘a lot of people will tell you anxiety is bad, but today due to your anxiety we both got a chance to talk, and laugh and now maybe you also treat me to a coffee in Delhi’. I smiled, and he hugged me on our way out and said ‘Shikha The Mittal BYE!’”

Shikha: In your career which movie you enjoyed shooting the most? 

Anil Ji: Yar Menu Jug Jug Jiyo bari pasand hai. 

Shikha: Ye tho aapka recency bias hai. 

Anil Ji: Hai? Ye kya bola tune? Upar se nikal gaya. Wesse tujhe mei bata dun, tu haad se jyada intelligent hai. 

Shikha: Yar mei tho survive kar rahi hun bus. Upar se covid and vaccine ne meri jaan le li hai. Kya karun Intelligence ka. 

Anil Ji: Yar sochna kaam Karde, mujhe dekh highly average Banda hun, hard work pe focus karta hun, mast 1/2 ghanta work-out karta hun, early to bed, early to rise, isliye jhakaas hun aur teri Umar ka lagta hun. 

Shikha: Yar aap na meri papa ki Umaar ke ho. 

Anil Ji: Bari Sayappa (troublemaker) hai tu.

Anil Ji: Yar luck ka bahut bara role hai. Par mehnat ko duniya mei kuch replace nahi karta. 

Shikha: Mehnat tho mei 13 saal se kar rahi hun, mera luck tho chalta nahi. 

Anil Ji: Yar ache logon ka luck thora time lagake aata hai. Wait kar, patience lose maat kar. Don’t stop believing in yourself. Acha sun, teri seat no 3F hai and meri 3G thi – that’s ahead of you. Woh seat wali didi boli she wants to sit with her father so I came to this seat that is technically her’s na. Abb bata tu lucky hai ki nahi that I get to sit next to you. 

Shikha: Wesse why only I am lucky? You are equally lucky lakhan! 

Anil Ji: Devi Maata Ki Jai ho.

EXCLUSIVE: Vishal Dadlani recalls how someone thanked him for making Pathaan; Sheykhar Ravjiani has a fun response to it

Known for some of the biggest chartbusters in Hindi cinema, the musical duo of Vishal Dadlani and Sheykhar Ravjiani hit jackpot with Pathaan. Readers, by now, would be aware that the film is doing record-breaking business at the box office and its songs, ‘Besharam Rang’ as well as ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’, which are picturized on Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, have topped the global charts. Describing the feeling, the musician-composer duo Vishal Dadlani and Sheykhar recall moments of how the film’s success have impacted them in this exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama.

Musician-singer Vishal Dadlani described the madness and how love and appreciation are pouring on from all quarters in the society. He told Bollywood Hungama, “This is a legit celebration. In all our careers, we have done so many films and still, we have never seen anything like this. We can say it is some other level of existence.” Sheykhar Ravjiani quipped in,“Bahut zyaada pyaar mila hai (Have received so much love). I think it’s because of Shah Rukh Khan Sir and because of how everyone in the fraternity. And of course, because of the way audiences have been going to the theaters non-stop and celebrating the songs. For us, all of this is a big deal.”

Vishal also recalled an incident where someone expressed their gratitude towards him for making Pathaan and how he had to clarify on it saying that Siddharth Anand made the film. “We were travelling for a show a few days ago. Someone woke me up and thanked me for the film. I said, ‘bhai maine nahi banayi hai picture. Hum log sirf gaane banaye (Bro, I have not made the film. We have just composed the music for the film)’. This has happened for the first time.”

However, Sheykhar joked about it adding, “You should have said humne banayi hai picture. Woh Siddharth Anand hai na, woh music director hai. (We have made the film. That Siddharth Anand is the music director).”

Pathaan featured Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the role of spies with John Abraham as an antagonist. The film is a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy-universe and released on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
