Dream Girl 2: Ayushmann Khurrana announces release date in a fun, naughty video

It’s official! The much-anticipated comedy entertainer of the year, Dream Girl 2, has finally locked its release date. It is all set to release on July 7. In order to announce the latest update, the makers of the Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday starrer posted a fun and naughty video that featured ‘Pooja’ aka Ayushmann in a sexy backless multi-coloured sequined blouse. 

Just like in its prequel, Dream Girl 2 will feature Ayushmann Khurrana not only in the role of Karam but he will also be playing Pooja in the movie. While the latest teaser only showcases glimpses of him dressed as a lady, it features him having a conversation with ‘Pathaan’. Along with that the teaser also includes the popular song ‘Dil Ka Telephone’ in the background. The film team has surely taken an interesting route to start the film’s campaign and to register the release date, #7KoSaathMein. Ayushmann too shared the video clip of the film on his social media platform last night, wherein he captioned it saying, “BREAKING NEWS: @pooja___dreamgirl is back! #7KoSaathMein dekhenge!”

Balaji Telefilms Dream Girl 2 is the sequel to the highly successful film, Dream Girl, which was released in 2019. The first installment was loved by the audience for its unique storyline and Ayushmann’s performance. The film showcased Ayushmann as a man who can mimic the voice of a woman and the concept was loved by the audience.

The film is all set to be the comedy entertainer of the year and the fans can expect a lot of fun and entertainment from the movie. Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana, the film will have Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee and Manjot Singh. The film is directed by Raaj Shandilya and produced by Ektaa R Kapoor. The makers have promised that the sequel will be even more hilarious and entertaining than the first part. And now it has been revealed that it is slated to release on July 7.

Zeenat Aman joins Instagram; says, “In the 70s the film and fashion industry was absolutely male dominated”

Veteran actress made her Instagram debut on Saturday. The actress posted a picture of hers on the unverified account. She wrote about her experiences as the only woman on a set in the 70s and her current desire to connect with other young women working in the field now.

The 71-year-old actress decided to join the popular social media platform, i.e., Instagram, on Saturday. She posted her picture of herself where she can be seen in a western casual outfit. The photo seemed to be shot at her home in warm lighting. Sharing the picture, she captioned, “Laughing at the places life takes me. Why hello there, Instagram.”

Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “Finally you are here,” another fan commented, “Welcome to Instagram….. looking beautiful & elegant as always.” A comment read, “You look absolutely stunning and elegant.”

After sometime, she shared another picture of herself, which was rather a close-up. Sharing her thoughts, she wrote, “In the 70s the film and fashion industry was absolutely male dominated, and I would often be the only woman on a set. Over the course of my career, I have been photographed and filmed by many talented men. A woman’s gaze though, is different.

This series of pictures was shot by young photographer @tanyyaa.a_ in the comfort of my home. No lights, no makeup artist, no hairdresser, no stylist, no assistants. Just a lovely sunny afternoon together.

It’s such a pleasure to see so many young women working on both sides of the lens today. I look forward to discovering more such talent on Instagram.”

Zeenat Aman is an Indian actress and a former model. The Evil Within (1970), starring Dev Anand, marked the former beauty queen’s acting debut. She has acted in films like Yaadon Ki Baarat, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Qurbani, Dharam Veer, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Insaaf Ka Tarazu among others.

Following their private Delhi wedding reception, a special reception took place in Mumbai on Sunday and it was a star-studded affair.

For the wedding reception, Kiara Advani wore a white and black gown with an emerald necklace whereas Sidharth Malhotra donned an embellished black outfit. Ranveer Singh to join Simu Liu, Hasan Minhaj, and Janelle Monáe at the 2023 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Salt Lake City

ESPN and the NBA announced the rosters and coaches for the 2023 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, featuring actors, comedians, Grammy Award-winning musicians, athletes and more. The game will take place at Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday, February 17, at 7 p.m. ET. Utah Jazz team governor Ryan Smith and three-time NBA Champion and Jazz minority owner Dwyane Wade will serve as honorary captains. Two-time NBA MVP and 2023 NBA All-Star Game Captain Giannis Antetokounmpo, his brothers Thanasis and Alex Antetokounmpo and three-time Olympic Medalist Lindsey Vonn will coach for Team Dwyane and will take on Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer and Two-time WNBA Champion Lisa Leslie, rapper and actor Fat Joe and Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman, who will coach for Team Ryan.

Bigg Boss 16 Finale: Salman Khan announces MC Stan as winner & Shiv Thakare as first runner up; takes home trophy, cash prize of Rs 31.8 lakh and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios

Following 19 weeks of living in the Bigg Boss house, the 16th instalment of Salman Khan hosted show concluded on Sunday night with rapper MC Stan winning the season. Khan announced the Pune-based rapper as the winner with Shiv Thakare coming out as the first runner-up. The winner received a trophy of the Bigg Boss 16, a cash prize of Rs 31.8 lakh and a Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.

Upon winning the trophy, the rapper said that she didn’t expect this win at all. After coming out of the Bigg Boss 16 house, Stan told India Today,  “No, I wasn’t expecting that. I thought my brother (Shiv) would win the show. Hum dono mein aisi baat hui thi ki ya toh woh jeetega ya main jeetunga. Humara end tak yahi tha. I feel all 16 contestants deserved to win the show.”

“Aisa scene nahi tha, contestants gave us the tag of mandali. We took it in a healthy way. We were like friends, mandali is just a tag. I could practically connect with Sajid sir. I have considered a lot of his pieces of advice. I got to learn a lot from him and from Abdu and Shiv as well,” he said.

MC Stan, whose real name is Altaaf Shaikh, came with a huge fanbase and had the most engaging fans during the entirety of the show. He announced a new album is coming out at the finale of the show.
