Ram Charan engages with international media in Los Angeles while sporting an extravagant display of style in a brown jacket and pants

For the cast of the movie RRR, 2023 got off to a dazzling start. It was brought about by the just concluded 2023 Golden Globes. The powerful red carpet made a triumphant return! With the biggest stars in fashion coming down the red carpet, it was a fashion carnival. The foot-tapping ‘Naatu Naatu’, which RRR earned the award for the best original song, still filled our hearts and ears with delight. Our pride is now overflowing since ‘Naatu Naatu’ has also been nominated for an Oscar for best original song. At the moment, Ram Charan is very busy promoting his hugely successful movie RRR at the Oscars. He recently engaged in conversation with members of the foreign press in Los Angeles.

Ram Charan, a popular actor in the South, has what is referred to be a sartorial eye. He makes sure to constantly keep things trendy, whether he is on his wild African vacation or at a red carpet. Ram’s unique sense of style is understatedly stylish and she loves subdued, neutral colours. It is evident that RC looks dapper with his brown formal trousers, white shirt, and brown striped jacket which he picked for his media interaction in LA. Layering has become a game of flamboyance and fun thanks to RC. His white shirt, untucked pants, and dark brown shoes were given a dapper twist by the brown jacket. Meanwhile, ‘Naatu Naatu’ is competing for the Best Song Oscar against ‘This Is A Life’ from Everything Everywhere All At Once, which will be performed by David Byrne, Stephanie Hsu and Son Lux, ‘Applause’ from Tell It Like A Woman, to be performed by Sofia Carson and Diane Warren at the ceremony, ‘Hold My Hand’ from Top Gun: Maverick and ‘Lift Me Up’ from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, to be performed by Rihanna.

The 95th Academy Awards will be handed out Sunday, March 12, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the ceremony will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide.

SCOOP: Alia Bhatt’s look in Karan Johar’s romantic song from Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani to be modelled on Sridevi in Chandni

Just yesterday we had reported that Alia Bhatt, and Ranveer Singh had headed out to shoot a romantic song sequence in the Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Now, as the stars are gearing up to shoot for the track, we managed to get some details on what to expect from Alia’s look in it. Interestingly, the reference point for Alia’s look in the song is Sridevi in Yash Chopra’s Chandni.

This romantic duet would be Karan Johar’s homage to his mentor and guru Yash Chopra.A source close to Karan Johar informs that Karan has selected Sridevi in Yash Chopra’s Chandni as the role model for Alia Bhatt in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Manish Malhotra will be clothing Alia in a chiffon saree, a la Sridevi. Alia will wear a minimalist look as she emotes to a Pritam love ballad.

As for the film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Produced by Dharma Productions the film will see Karan Johar returning to the directorial chair after his last outing in 2020.

Priyanka Chopra in talks to star in ‘Assume Nothing’ book adaptation; set to executive produce the Amazon limited series

With Citadel already gearing up for the premiere in April 2023, Priyanka Chopra has lined up her next project. The actress is set to executive produce an upcoming limited series through her banner Purple Pebble Pictures (PPP). Amazon Studios is developing the project titled Assume Nothing, which is based on Tanya Selvaratnam’s memoir of the same name. Priyanka Chopra is also in talks to star in the same.

As reported by Deadline, the logline reads, “In it, dating New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman – advocate for women’s rights, prosecutor of Harvey Weinstein – seemed like a dream. After the terrifying end of the relationship, Selvaratnam bravely shares her story with Jane Mayer and Ronan Farrow of the New Yorker, which leads to Schneiderman’s downfall and his replacement by Letitia James, the first female attorney general of New York State.”

The book will be adapted and executive produced by Mimi Won Techentin. Joanna Coles and Jessica Whitaker will executive produce for Joanna Coles Productions, along with Priyanka Chopra and Mary Rohlich for Purple Pebble Pictures. Tanya Selvaratnam will serve as a producer. The series will be co-produced by ABC Signature.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra has Citadel set on Prime Video with Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci. The series is set to premiere on April 28. She also has a movie Love Again releasing in theatres on May 12, with Sam Heughan and Celine Dion.

Squid Game star Lee Byung Hun denies tax evasion allegations after being fined over Rs. 62 lakhs; actor’s agency releases official statement

Popular South Korean actor Lee Byung Hun, who was last seen in K-dramas Squid Game and Our Blues, has denied the tax evasion allegations made against him. The actor’s agency BH Entertainment has officially released a statement denying such accusations.

Reports in Korean media outlets revealed that a special tax audit was conducted by the National Tax Service on Lee Byung Hun and his agency BH Entertainment in September 2022. They were reportedly fined hundreds of millions of won (approx Rs. 62 lakhs) in additional taxes.

Furthermore, the reports also revealed that Lee Byung Hun had purchased a 10-story building in the neighbourhood of Yangpyeong in Seoul. He allegedly sold the building in 2021 and earned a whopping profit of around 10 billion KRW (approximately $7.6 million).

A representative from BH Entertainment released an official statement on February 28, as translated by media outlet Soompi, “Actor Lee Byung Hun has not had one shameful incident regarding taxes in the past 30 years. The additional fee collected was due to the differences in the deposit time for an advertising guarantee and in the process of accounting normalization for bonuses paid to all employees with the actor’s own personal expenses that were processed as company expenses.”

Citadel Teaser: Priyanka Chopra, Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci star in the action-packed Russo Brothers’ series, trailer arrives on March 1

Prime Video debuted first-look images for the highly anticipated action-spy thriller Citadel, revealing that the series will premiere on Friday, April 28, with two adrenaline-fueled episodes, followed by a new episode released weekly every Friday through May 26. The landmark, high-stakes drama is executive produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and showrunner David Weil, and stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, with Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville.

Interestingly, in the first look images, the shot of Richard Madden looking at a screen which contains information on Priyanka Chopra’s character Nadia Sinh has a QR code that leads users to the secret teaser for the series. The logline reads, “Eight years ago, Citadel fell. The independent global spy agency—tasked to uphold the safety and security of all people—was destroyed by operatives of Manticore, a powerful syndicate manipulating the world from the shadows. With Citadel’s fall, elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) had their memories wiped as they narrowly escaped with their lives. They’ve remained hidden ever since, building new lives under new identities, unaware of their pasts.
