Janhvi Kapoor has quickly advanced from being merely the aspiring young actor that she is to becoming a fashion icon in her own way. Janhvi Kapoor has always provided us with fashion advice in all that she does, whether it is for festive occasions or red-carpet appearances. But, her most recent collection of Instagram photos completely changes the fashion industry. She is known to like sarees in all their varieties. We were not surprised when she chose a stunning saree because of this. She resembled a vintage Bollywood actress in every way. The female lead characters in vintage Bollywood films are renowned for wearing stunning sarees composed of silk, cotton, and chiffon. Although though Bollywood has developed and there are now more options for on-screen attire than only ethnic clothing, some of those classic sarees remain some of our favourites, and her most recent photos brought back memories of old film camera images as well as vintage sarees.

The traditional saree that Janhvi is wearing tells a different type of story. With her Indian attire, Janhvi Kapoor is seen giving off a Village Belle vibe. The Bawaal actress looks very stunning in a saree with floral design that she wore without a blouse underneath. She gave her waist a cinched appearance by twisting and wrapping her saree’s pallu around it. She wore an oxidised necklace as part of a traditional jewellery set. Janhvi’s makeup was kept simple with dark, kohled eyes and a messy bun styled with jasmine flowers to maintain the authenticity of the mood board. Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor just finished filming her next romantic movie Bawaal, her first on-screen collaboration with well-known actor Varun Dhawan. The Nitesh Tiwari-directed film is expected to be released in theatres this August. She is now preoccupied with the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, a sports drama that will see her reunited with Rajkummar Rao, her Roohi co-star. With the next Jr. NTR starrer directed by renowned director Koratala Siva, Janhvi Kapoor will also make her much anticipated debut in the Telugu film industry. The project, whose working title is “NTR 30,” is positioned as a pure commercial entertainment. The project’s first look poster, which was unveiled on the occasion of Janhvi’s birthday, makes it seem as though she will be portraying a small-town girl.

Govinda reveals his first encounter with wife Sunita; says, “She was 15, I was 21”

Bollywood actor Govinda has given several performances in his career that remain iconic. His acting and dance style are imitated even now by many celebrities. Coming to his professional front, Govinda married Sunita at the age of 24 which seems quite early as compared to the celebrities of this generation. In a recent interview, Govinda revealed the first time he met his wife Sunita and discussed their love story.

Govinda responded in an interview with Bollywood Bubble when asked if he could recall his and Sunita’s first encounter. He said, “Itni zyada yeh chhoti thi aur modern thi toh main darr raha tha ki aaj ki tareekh mein iss age mein log pyar karne lageinge toh kahenge child molestor. She was 15, I was 21. Toh bahut chhote the hum log. Toh maine kaha ‘Aap bahut chhoti hai, pata hai ki kya keh rahi ho?’ She said ‘Haan mujhe sab pata hai aur main chah rahi hoon ki… I love you’. Mujhe aisa laga yeh bahut chhoti hai yaar, yeh kya keh rahi hai.”

Govinda, in the same interview, also said how the two of them started dancing with each other at a film’s mahurat, and how they would constantly do so at weddings and other gatherings. Remembering the first time they held hands as they left an event in the same vehicle, Govinda said, “Gadi chal rahi hai, aur inka haath mere haath pe touch ho gaya. Phir mujhe mehsoos hua ki yeh haath hata hi nahin rahi hai. Phir isne pakad liya haath, maine kaha ‘Hi’, ab iska haath main chhudwata toh bahut ajeeb lagta. Maine socha Punjabi aadmi hoon, haath pakad liya hai toh chalo pakad hi lete hain. That’s the first time we (Sunita said, ‘Touched each other’)… gaadi mein romance shuru hua. Usi gaadi mein first time hum logo ne pyar ka izhaar kiya.”

On March 11, 1987, Govinda and Sunita exchanged vows. Sunita was just 18 years old when Govinda, then 24, got married. Sunita is the sister of Govinda’s maternal uncle’s wife.

Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen is truly an epitome of beauty and strength. The actress suffered a cardiac arrest couple of days back and yet comes back even stronger. Sushmita recently on the occasion of Womes’s Day shared an empowering and beautiful toast to all women out ther.

On Wednesday, Sushmita took to Instagram and posted a picture of herself. Sharing the picture, she captioned, “To be born a Woman is a blessing I thank God for everyday!!!

On the professional front, was last seen in the second instalment of Disney+ Hotstar’s popular web series Aarya. The actress has already begun working on the third season. Besides this web show, she has another web series in her kitty, titled Taali. Sen will be seen essaying the transgender activist Gauri Sawant in an upcoming show. The actress made the official announcement of the same in October last year. The biopic will be created by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar, helmed by National award-winning director Ravi Jadhav, and produced by Arjun Singgh Baran, Kartk D Nishandar & Afeefa Nadiadwala.

Netflix announces new seasons of She, Mismatched, Kota Factory, Delhi Crime, The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives and Class

Netflix has confirmed the return of 6 fan-favourite series: Season 3 of She, Mismatched, Kota Factory, Delhi Crime, The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives and Season 2 of Class.

Dimple and Rishi will be coming back with Mismatched season 3. The adaptation of the book ‘When Dimple met Rishi’ has proven to be widely popular with fans in India and around the world. The light-hearted rom-com, Mismatched S2, was on Netflix’s Top 10 in TV in 9 countries including India, UAE, Qatar, and Sri Lanka, among others. The trailer of season 2 garnered over 30 million views post its launch on September 21st, 2022.

SHE
A third season of She is currently in development. In the first two seasons, the thrilling crime-drama revolved around the life of a timid police constable and how she evolved into a strong, confident woman who realises her dormant sexuality’s potential. Season 2 was in the Top 10 in TV in 11 countries including India, Pakistan, Malaysia, UAE, among others.

THE FABULOUS LIVES OF BOLLYWOOD WIVES

Season 2 trended Top 10 in TV in 7 countries including India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, among others.

KOTA FACTORY
We will welcome a third season of Kota Factory, a story of an earnest but unexceptional student and his friends navigating campus life. The story is set in Kota, a city of coaching centres known to train India’s finest collegiate minds. Season 2 was trending in Top 10 in India in TV for the first 4 weeks of its release.

DELHI CRIME
A third season of the popular and gripping true crime series has been confirmed. The series delves into real investigations undertaken by Delhi police. In 2020, Netflix series Delhi Crime won India’s first International Emmy for best drama series. The season 2 of the series was in Top 10 in TV in 11 countries including India such as Singapore, Bangladesh, Mauritius, among others. CLASS
Netflix’s latest series Class launched in February this year. Class featured in the global Top 10 and was trending in Top 10 in TV in 13 countries such as Kenya, UAE, Qatar, Maldives, among others. The series has been confirmed to return for a second season.

Ranbir Kapoor hopes Raha does not have Alia’s personality; says, “Alia is a very loud personality”

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor tied knot with Alia Bhatt in a close-knit wedding. The couple embraced parenthood and welcomed their daughter Raha last year. In a recent interview, Ranbir opened up on not wanting his daughter’s personality to be like Alia as he could not handle two loud personalities.

The actor, who has two movies out this year, i.e., Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Animal, has mentioned taking a break after the second movie to evaluate his position in the business. Ranbir stated that he has not signed on for any other projects. It appears that the actor is hoping to spend time with his daughter Raha as she gets older and has stopped hunting for new films to sign on to.

Ranbir while addressing Alia told GOODTiMES, “I hope [Raha] looks like you. She’ll be a nicer looking person if she looks like you. I just hope she has my personality and not your personality because I can’t have two… Alia is a very loud personality, talks and she’s very vivacious. Two girls at home like this would be quite a daunting task for me. I hope Raha is a bit more quiet and demure like me so then we both can handle Alia.”

On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar alongside Shraddha Kapoor released today. The film is directed by Luv Ranjan, produced by Luv Films’, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, and presented by T- Series’ Bhushan Kumar. Ranbir also has Animal in the pipeline alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Shah Rukh Khan says Yash Chopra became very emotional during Jab Tak Hai Jaan: ‘He kind of started crying’

Netflix docu-series The Romantics, which is a tribute to the legacy of Yash Chopra, YRF and its cultural impact on India and Indians for the past 50 years, released on February 14. Shah Rukh Khan, who shared an incredible relationship with Yash Chopra and called him a father figure in his life, reveals how he said no to Aditya Chopra to sign Jab Tak Hai Jaan, directed by Adi’s father Yash Chopra!

SRK, who collaborated with Yash Chopra on cult blockbusters like Darr, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, says, “I remember he had started speaking a lot more. ‘I am not doing a film. This is my last picture’ Yash ji used to say. Jab Tak Hain Jaan was actually a film which I chose over a film Adi had offered me. I said no (to Adi)! if Yashji is making a film, I’ll be a part of that.”

SRK recounts how Yash Chopra became emotional during the shoot of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, his last directorial. He says, “We were shooting in Ladakh and in really difficult conditions. He was the coolest of us all. I was shivering to death. I was doing a shot in Kashmir, but then he came and said ‘yaar teri picture khatam ho gayi’. I said ‘kya bol rahein ho aap?’ He said ‘last shot hain, bas. Ab toh kuch raha nahi. Picture khatam’.”

SRK adds, “And he (Yash Chopra) became very emotional. Then he kind of started crying. He said this could be our last shot. I said why last shot? So, he said no there are no more shots left of you. I said yeah, but we’ll make the next one. He said yeah… last hain yaar. Last shot hain.”

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Jawan, helmed by Atlee. The project also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. It is scheduled for June 3, 2023 release. He also has Dunki with Rajkumar Hirani, set for December 2023 release.
