Actress and performer Nora Fatehi just commenced with the third leg of The Entertainers tour in Dallas last evening with an impactful performance, winning hearts and leaving the audience in a complete frenzy. Visually packed with a beautiful amalgamation of fashion and power dance moves, she is magnetic whenever she hits the stage.

One can gauge the audience reaction and realise the power she holds over the audience with her complete stage presence, giving us a mix of Bollywood beats and international numbers with choreography on point. One could also observe the mix in nationalities present in the audience, making this a truly global event. In a recent interview, we also heard Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Ckay talking about his wish and love to collaborate with Nora, sometime soon. We can only say this girl has been winning hearts, everywhere she goes.

The event is scheduled to be held across multiple US cities, starting from Atlanta. While Akshay will be seen dancing to some of his hit songs during the event, the leading ladies are also expected to perform in the shows scheduled for them.

While cities like Dallas, Orlando, Atlanta, and Oakland are already on the list, the New Jersey concert was recently cancelled due to payment issues. The tour will take place in March 2023.

On the work front, Nora was last seen as a judge on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, alongside Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit. Apart from this, she featured with Sidharth Malhotra in Thank God song ‘Manike’ and in song ‘Jedha Nasha’ with Aayushmann Khuranna in An Action Hero. Nora Fatehi also featured in the FIFA music video that saw her both singing and performing the FIFA anthem last year. What makes this achievement even more noteworthy is the fact that this was India’s first representation at the FIFA World Cup, which Nora Fatehi bagged for the country.

Not Ram Charan and Jr NTR, instead Lauren Gottlieb to perform on ‘Naatu Naatu’ at Oscars 2023

RRR has created waves internationally and it has already earned a lot of accolades at many prestigious ceremonies. Now the film has also bagged an Oscar nomination in the Best Original Song category for ‘Naatu Naatu’. While reports were rife about Ram Charan and Jr NTR performing on the dance number live at the awards ceremony, now we hear that the American dancer-actress Lauren Gottlieb has bagged the opportunity to perform on the number. Recently, she took to social media to make the announcement.

Lauren Gottlieb took to Instagram to share a series of photos from her photoshoot where she is seen posing against the backdrop of the famous Hollywood sign. She captioned these images along with the announcement saying, “SPECIAL NEWS!!! I’m performing on ‘Naatu Naatu’ at the OSCARS!!!!!! I’m beyond excited to perform on the most prestigious stage in the world. Wish me luck!!!” In the past, Jr. NTR had mentioned in an interview that they decided against performing on stage on the famous track because they couldn’t get time to practice and didn’t want to perform on such a prestigious platform without prepping for it.

Talking about the song ‘Naatu Naatu’, the MM Keeravani composition has received a lot of accolades in the past including the prestigious Golden Globe 2023. The song will be competing with ‘Applause’ by Sofia Carson (Tell It Like A Woman), ‘Lift Me Up’ by Rihanna (Wakanda Forever), ‘Hold My Hand’ by Lady Gaga (Top Gun: Maverick), and ‘This Is A Life’ by Son Lux David Byrne and Mitski (Everything Everywhere All At Once). The song in RRR was sung by Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj whereas it was picturized on Ram Charan and Jr. NTR.

The upcoming 95th Academy Awards will be held on March 13 (as per India Timing) in Los Angeles, USA.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 featuring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles, is expected to hit the big screens during Diwali 2023, November 12.

Satish Kaushik’s manager recalls his last words when he had confessed that he wanted to ‘live for his daughter Vanshika’

A couple of days ago, Bollywood woke up to the shocking news of the demise of one of Bollywood’s most popular director-actor. We had earlier reported that Satish Kaushik passed away on Wednesday in Gurugram after suffering a cardiac arrest. Many of them from the industry mourned the loss of the actor and some of them even recalled the last memories with him. Among them, was his manager Santosh Rai who reminisced about the last words of Satish Kaushik, who was concerned for his daughter Vanshika and wife Shashi.

In an interview with Times of India, Santosh Rai opened up about what happened on that day and how he started to complain of breathlessness at about 12am in the morning. In the same breath, he also remembered what Satish had to say while being admitted to the hospital. He had said, ‘Santosh, please save me, I don’t want to die. I want to live for Vanshika. Mujhe lagta hai main nahi bachunga. Shashi aur Vanshika ka khayyal rakhna. (I don’t think I will survive. Take care of Vanshika and Shashi).’

Santosh Rai further went on to add how he called Anupam ji and Boney Kapoor ji on the same night at around 2:30am. He added, “I called Satishji’s brothers’ kids in Mumbai and told them everything. Their families reached Satish ji’s residence by 2:30 am. Apparently, they informed Satish ji’s wife. Also, I called Anupam Kher ji. Satish ji used to tell me if anything happens or anything is required for him, I should first call Anupam ji and Anil Kapoor ji. My call to Anupam ji went unanswered. Obviously, he must have been fast asleep. So, I informed his work-person and told him to inform Anupam ji anyhow. And, Anupam ji soon called back. Anupam ji and Boney Kapoor ji rushed to Satish ji’s residence and they were there in just few minutes. They stayed on till the next day. Both Anupam and Boney were very, very close to Satish ji.”

Readers would recall that Anupam Kher was the one who broke the news on social media by sharing a heartfelt note on Satish Kaushik’s sudden demise.

Wednesday star Jenna Ortega in talks to star in Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice 2

Beetlejuice 2, the much long-awaited sequel to classic horror that has long been in the works at Warner Bros, is eyeing Wednesday star Jenna Ortega to play Lydia’s daughter. According to Variety, Ortega is in talks to play the daughter of Lydia Deetz, portrayed by Winona Ryder in the original film. This marks her second time working with Burton, who was an executive producer on Wednesday and directed four of its eight episodes.

Michael Keaton is also set to reprise his role as the title character in the sequel that has been in the works at Warner Bros. for some time before Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B officially boarded it in February 2022. Talks for the sequel surfaced in 2013 when Keaton confirmed that he and Burton were discussing a sequel.

In 2014, Burton shared that he missed the titular character, saying, “There’s only one Beetlejuice, and that’s Michael. There is a script, and I would love to work with him again. I think there is now a better chance than ever… I miss that character. There’s something that’s cathartic and amazing about it. I think it’s closer than ever.”

Beetlejuice is a 1988 classic horror-comedy from director Tim Burton in which “the spirits of a deceased couple are harassed by an unbearable family that has moved into their home, hiring a malicious spirit of the same name to drive them out. Michael Keaton played the title role in the original, with Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder and more rounding out the cast.”

The 1988 film was a critical and commercial success and won the Academy Award for Best Makeup for Best Makeup, while securing two BAFTA Award nominations and various other accolades.

Nikkhil Advani REVEALS that there was no backlash from the Norway government over Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway: “Norwegian High Commission asked me to shoot in Norway. He said that they believe in freedom of expression”

The trailer of Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway was unveiled a few weeks ago and ever since it has become a talking point. It is inspired by the real-life story of Sagarika Chakraborty whose children were taken away by the government of Norway citing that she’s not taking care of them appropriately. How she waged a legal war against the unfair system forms the crux of the film. Rani Mukerji plays the lead character in this Ashima Chibber-directed film.

Interestingly, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway has been shot in Estonia and not Norway. An event was held by the makers on Friday, March 10, where Karan Johar had a conversation with Rani Mukerji and producer Nikkhil Advani. Karan asked Nikkhil whether there was a backlash from the government of Norway after the film was announced or after the film’s trailer was unveiled. Nikkhil Advani surprised everyone by replying that the Norwegian government hasn’t slammed or reacted in any way. He also added that the government of Norway had even invited him to shoot Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway in their country despite the title making it amply clear that it doesn’t show Norway in a good light.

Nikkhil Advani said, “There was no backlash. We had pre-empted or assumed that Norway would not want us to shoot a film like this. It was also lockdown time. We were supposed to shoot in March 2021 but the film got pushed to August. We finally decided to shoot in Estonia.”

Nikkhil continued, “We had put out a press note that our film Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is all set to be shot in Estonia. Everything was set until one day, we got a call from the Norwegian High Commission. The official asked me, ‘Why are you not shooting the film in Norway?’ They added, ‘We believe in freedom of expression. You should come over here and shoot your film’!”
