Dasara: Nani launches Hindi version of ‘Dhoom Dhaam Dhos Yaar’ in Mumbai, watch video

Nani is all set to bring audiences his Pan-India entertainer Dasara which has been making waves ever since its announcement. After having a grand first-of-its-kind trailer launch in Lucknow, the makers launched the film’s music in Mumbai, the first in the city, with yet another spectacular event that introduced audiences to the rowdy mass anthem of the year – ‘Dhoom Dhaam Dhos Yaar’ (Hindi).

Featuring Nani, Keerthy Suresh and Deekshith Shetty, ‘Dhoom Dhaam Dhos Yaar’ (Hindi) can only be described as the ‘massiest local street song’ and an out-and-out high energy, dance track with uptempo beats that are guaranteed to have you on your feet. The song received a massive positive reception and drove audiences into a frenzy, not surprising since the song has already gained popularity ever since the teaser dropped and has been trending on reels.

After making an iconic entry on a truck at the trailer launch event, Nani this time around surprised audiences, making an entry with another South favourite Rana Daggubati, who was part of the launch in support of the film. Said Nani, “Audiences have eagerly been waiting for ‘Dhoom Dhaam Dhos Yaar’ ever since they heard bits of it in the teaser. It is filled with fast beats, a lot of energy and a complete masala track and has been shot on a massive scale.”

Said Keerthy Suresh, “Shooting this track was an incredible experience and there is a strong element of brotherhood and friendship that comes out strongly in ‘Dhoom Dhaam Dhos Yaar’”.

Said Deekshith Shetty, “The reception we’ve received for ‘Dhoom Dhaam Dhos Yaar’ is overwhelming and we are confident this track will be a regular at every celebration and occasion with its addictive beats and tune.”

Written and directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara takes audiences through the socio-economic condition, political ambition and power struggle of the Singareni collieries. Stepping into the shoes of Dharani, a hustler driven by his ambition and love, South superstar Nani in this action-packed entertainer grapples with the village’s best kept secrets.

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, Dasara stars Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, Samuthirakani, and Sai Kumar. Written & Directed by Srikanth Odela with music by Santhosh Narayanan and cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan Isc, the film is all set for its big nationwide release on 30th March.

Anubhav Sinha reveals why he removed PM Narendra Modi’s voice-over from new Bheed trailer; speaks on being called “anti-national”: “Every film goes through various such challenges”

After the roaring first look creating a stir on social media and a teaser announcing the power-packed star cast, the trailer of Anubhav Sinha’s Bheed was released earlier this month. The film depicts the hard-hitting reality of social disparity at times when borders were drawn within the country. However, it was also met with backlash and the trailer was removed from YouTube. A few days ago, a new trailer was unveiled with some edits. From the same, the talk about the comparison between the situations of migrant workers during the COVID-19 lockdown to the partition of India was removed. Also, India’s Prime Minister Modi’s narration was altered.

In an interview with Indian Express, Anubhav Sinha was asked why he opted to remove Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s voice-over from the new trailer which was recently re-uploaded. He said, “There are more changes in the trailer, but this makes more news for you. Every film goes through various such challenges. Let’s talk about Bheed the story. I don’t want to distract people from the story of Bheed, as its way more interesting.”

Anubhav even addressed the online backlash over the trailer and being called “anti-national” after the first teaser compared the COVID-19 lockdown to the partition of India in 1947. He said, “Yes I have heard I am anti-national before. I do hear it for most of my films. But it didn’t surprise me. I love India, I love the original idea of India. Anybody who loves India more than I do, I respect that person. I’m trying to do my best as a lover and I’m sure even they’ve done their best as lovers of the country.”

Pathaan’s torture scene, Pathaan’s stylish entry, Rubai’s interrogation: Here’s the list of the 3 deleted scenes from Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan

The Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan emerged as an all-time blockbuster. Released on January 25, 2023, it continues to run in cinemas and has broken several box office records. At midnight on March 22, the film was released on Amazon Prime Video. The OTT premiere was much awaited after director Siddharth Anand revealed that it’ll feature deleted scenes of the film.

In this story, Bollywood Hungama will list out the scenes which couldn’t make it to the final cut of Pathaan in cinemas but can be seen on Amazon Prime Video. The first deleted scene appears immediately after the intermission. It shows Pathaan being held in the Black Prison and being severely tortured. Yet, Pathaan’s sense of humour remains intact and he mouths a funny dialogue when the foreign official speaks to him in Hindi. This 42-second-long scene is followed by the one where Nandini (Dimple Kapadia) meets him in jail.

The second scene appears soon after Pathaan meets Rubai (Deepika Padukone) in Paris. It is set in the office where Pathaan makes a stylish entry. It would have surely made for a clapworthy moment in cinemas. His colleagues are happy to see him. One of the female colleagues gets overwhelmed and tries to hug him. But Pathaan stops her and says, “Agar zindagi rahi, toh gale milenge”! He tells a male colleague, “Tumse tab bhi gale nahin milunga”!

In the same scene, Pathaan is seen telling his colleagues, Nandini and Colonel Luthra (Ashutosh Rana) about the plan to infiltrate the lab. Luthra suggests that the lab be exploded. Pathaan makes it clear that this isn’t a good idea as the virus might spread to three continents and create havoc. Nandini agrees with Pathaan’s idea and advises him to go for a trim! The said scene lasts for 61 seconds.

Finally, after Rubai’s arrest following the madness in the lab, a 24-second scene shows Indian authorities grilling her. Rubai tries to convince them that she has no idea about Jim (John Abraham)’s plans.

Additionally, there are a few frames or shots that were deleted in Pathaan’s intro sequence and the Dubai chase sequences. These brief glimpses can also be seen in the OTT version of Pathaan.

Interestingly, the censor certificate shows the date of the certification as February 6, 2023. This indicates that Pathaan was re-censored for OTT after its theatrical release.

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 action sequence gets a massive set constructed for 45 days

While there are no official confirmations from Yash Raj Films about Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan coming together in Tiger 3, multiple senior trade sources have constantly said that the two biggest superstars of India will share screen space again in the adrenaline-pumping action entertainer! Tiger 3 is part of the fabled YRF Spy Universe and is the third film from the Tiger franchise after Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. We now hear that the makers are constructing a huge set for the Salman-SRK scene in Tiger 3 and that it will take 45 days to build this.

“Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will be seen on screen again in Tiger 3 and Aditya Chopra and director Maneesh Sharma have planned this to be the biggest surprise element of the film. YRF has quietly commissioned to build a massive set that will take about 45 days to build to shoot this scene in which Salman and SRK are set to do mind-boggling action!” informs a trade source.

“When Salman appeared in Pathaan to help SRK, all hell broke loose in theatres and people went into a frenzy seeing their biggest cinema idols beat people to a pulp! Now, it’s encore time in Tiger 3 and expect Salman and SRK to pull off crazy, adrenaline-pumping, high-intensity action sequences that will blow people’s minds.”

Tiger 3 also stars Katrina Kaif as super-spy Zoya and Emraan Hashmi as the villain! It is set to release this Diwali.

Karisma Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee have Zubeidaa reunion and it will make you nostalgic

Actors Karisma Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee recently reunited and brought back all the Zubeidaa memories. The actors, who starred in the 2001 film, recently attended the Shyam Benegal Retrospective event in Mumbai. The photos from the same event went viral on social media.

In the photos, Karisma Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee were posing for the camera and were seen having a conversation. The actress wore vibrant blue attire with black glasses whereas Manoj wore a white t-shirt paired with black pants and a denim jacket. Sharing the post, Karisma captioned it as, “When Zubeidaa reunited with Victor for a very special evening.”

Zubeidaa was about an aspiring Muslim actress who marries a Sikh prince to become his second wife. Her tumultuous relationship with her husband, and her inner demons lead her to a decision which has fatal consequences for them all. The movie also had Rekha, Amrish Puri, Surekha Sikri and Lillete Dubey in pivotal roles. For the same, Karisma Kapoor had won Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Critics) whereas the film had won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Karisma Kapoor will next star in ZEE5 series Brown. Manoj Bajpayee, on the other hand, was most recently seen in Gulmohar. He also has The Family Man 3 in the pipeline.
