SEVENTEEN to release new album ‘FML’ on April 24, see first look

After a 6-month long world tour of 29 shows across 21 cities, K-pop stage-breakers SEVENTEEN will return with their 10th Mini Album FML at 5 AM ET on April 24 (6 PM KST on April 24).

At midnight today, the K-pop supergroup unveiled an image offering a first look into their upcoming mini album through official social media channels. The teaser image interweaves still photos of a bed on a puddle of water, a reading lamp and a boxing ring, all tinted in muted shades of blue.

The new mini album arrives 9 months after SECTOR 17—the repackage of the band’s 4th full-length album—which charted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. The 4th full-length album Face the Sun, released last May, was the best-selling album in Korea in 2022 with 3.28M copies sold. According to IFPI’s Global Album Sales chart released on March 28, Face the Sun and SECTOR 17 were also the 5th and 9th best-selling albums globally in 2022.

Pre-order for FML begins on March 31 (KST). A few hours ahead of the mini album release announcement, SEVENTEEN also posted a cryptic post on their social media channels consisting of the title “SEVENTEEN STREET” and multiple emojis, piquing curiosity for projects to launch alongside the approaching comeback.

SEVENTEEN’s 4th studio album Face the Sun marked a new milestone in K-pop, rendering SEVENTEEN the second artist in K-pop history after BTS to surpass the 2 million mark for first-week album sales. The album was also the act’s first top-10 charting album on the Billboard 200, which was soon followed by their latest release SECTOR 17 which debuted at No.4 on the chart. The group closed out 2022 as the first K-pop artist to take home PUSH Performance of the Year at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, and the first K-pop act to win Best New and Best Push at the 2022 MTV European Music Awards.

BH Style Icons 2023: Bhushan Kumar receives the Most Stylish Showbiz Mogul award

BH Style Icons 2023: Bobby Deol emerges as Most Stylish OTT Entertainer; says, “Deol family never got awards earlier”

Bollywood Hungama, the premier source for all things entertainment, has begun its 25th-anniversary celebration with the debut of Bollywood Hungama Style Icons 2023. The large, celebrity-studded event, which took place on March 24, honoured achievers from diverse walks of life – Television, Sports, Business, Fashion, OTT, Culinary World, Regional Cinema and more. Well, actor Bobby Deol has emerged as the winner. The actor was presented by Raashii Khanna. With web shows like Class of ‘83 and Aashram in his repertoire, the actor has proved his mettle. If you look closely, besides the genres, the fashion choices of Deol for both looks were also standing apart from each other. Not only this, but he also impressed his fans with his performance in Love Hostel.

After embracing the Most Stylish OTT Entertainer award, Deol asserted, “Award kaafi kam milte the humari family mai. Ab milney shuru ho gaye hai. So I thank OTT platforms for that. Because of these platforms actors like me, who are older, are getting the opportunity to play the characters, where they can prove their calibre. And that’s the best thing happening. In every department of filmmaking, there are a lot of people who don’t get jobs, and OTT platforms have done that.”

He further added, “I never imagined getting a Style Icon award. I have to thank my wife Tany. I got married off right after my first film was released. She took control of my dressing.”

Coming back to BH Style Icons 2023, held on March 24 2023 at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, a number of B-town celebs attended this maiden edition, including Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Sunny Leone, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon. Priyanka Chopra makes a gaffe by calling RRR a ‘Tamil’ film after Dax Shepard calls SS Rajamouli’s directorial a Bollywood movie; netizens call out her mistake

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who has been busy with the promotions of her upcoming Prime Video series Citadel, has ardently supported filmmaker SS Rajamouli for his movie RRR. The film had all the buzz around the Oscars and eventually, the film’s song ‘Naatu Naatu’ won Best Original Song at the 95^th Academy Awards. She even attended a special screening in LA and hosted Ram Charan and his family her home. So when the actress made a blunder about the film’s language and called it a Tamil movie on Dax Shepard’s podcast, netizens were left surprised.

On the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast, the host compared Bollywood to be like Hollywood in the 50s with big studios and few stars, Priyanka agreed by saying, “I don’t think you are far from it. I think that was what it was… big studios, five actors… big movies will be made by them; but the game is changed so much now. First of all, it’s streaming. It has given access to so many people who are making content.”

When Dax interrupted her by saying RRR is a Bollywood movie, she corrected him only to call the Telugu-language movie, a Tamil movie. “Bollywood has evolved in such an incredible way. You have the mainstream big action and the love story and the dancing…” she said. When Dax interrupted, “RRR…”, Priyanka added, “That’s a Tamil movie by the way. It’s like big, mega, blockbuster Tamil which does all of those… it’s like our Avengers.”

Interestingly, Priyanka Chopra worked with Ram Charan in the 2013 movie Zanjeer. Her first movie was in Tamil, titled Tamizhan, starring Vijay in the lead role.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be seen in Russo Brothers’ series Citadel which is set for Prime Video with Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci. The series will premiere on April 28. She also has a movie Love Again releasing in theatres on May 12, with Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. She also has Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
