Some of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood and Bollywood attended the two-day NMACC Gala event, which was hosted as part of the grand opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). On Saturday, Janhvi made our weekend better by posting a series of images of herself that made her appear as though she were straight out of a fairytale. The actor looked stunning in a sheer white lehenga as he posed for the photos indoors. Janhvi chose a lehenga with intricate embroidery and ornamentation from Manish Malhotra’s racks while acting as the fashion designer’s muse. Janhvi was dressed in a white blouse with pearl accents dangling from the outfit. She also paired it with a long, flowing white skirt that had white threads used throughout the needlework. While she posed for the photos, Janhvi added a white neck choker with grey stones to her ensemble for the day as further accessorizing. She finished off her ensemble for the day with ear earrings that made a statement. She nailed the style to a tee, wearing her hair in a tidy bun with a middle part. She looked stunning in a nude lip colour, nude eyeshadow, black winged eyeliner, mascara-coated eyelashes, and contoured cheekbones.

Sara Ali Khan

Sara Ali Khan looks equally stunning in ethnic numbers as she does in Western wear. Her exotic wardrobe selections deserve far more praise than they now receive, whether they be modern options, exquisite sarees, or stunning sharara ensembles. Sara never fails to treat these stunning ethnic marvels like princesses. Check her most current search for NMACC. Her fashionable golden blouse, which had wide straps, a plunging neck, and gold embroidery all over it, was worn with a black lehenga skirt that had heavy golden embroidery all over it. Together with the lehenga, she wore a matching overcoat with intricate gold embroidery. Golden tones dominated the gorgeous makeup. Kriti Sanon

Kriti recently uploaded several images of herself from NMACC, looking lovely in a stunning outfit. But the dress had a catch—it was actually constructed from a stunning black banarasi saree. The actor served as fashion designer Monisha Jaising’s muse, choosing and draping the gorgeous outfit. The dress was made from a banarasi saree and has a cut-out at the midsection and one shoulder. A thigh-high slit added more flowy embellishments to the gown. Kriti wrapped a cape made of the same banarasi saree around her shoulders. Statement golden earrings helped Kriti complete her outfit for the day and accentuate the ethnic theme of her dress. Her hair was neatly braided and parted in the middle. The actor donned a colourful makeup look to go with her outfit for the day. With smokey eyeshadow, black eyeliner, black kohl, mascara-coated eyelashes, contoured cheeks, and a neutral lipstick tone, Kriti looked stunning.

When it comes to style, Karisma Kapoor, a timeless beauty, is unrivalled. As she served as Rahul Mishra’s muse at NMACC, the Dil Toh Pagal Hai actress created a spell with her ultra-chic appearance. With a stunning dress with multicoloured floral patterns in blue, red, yellow, and white on the bottom half, Karisma glowed. Her OOTD was further enhanced by the plunging neckline and vivid star embellishments at the bodice. The outfit looked magnificent as it was entirely covered in glittering sequins. Sharvari dressed to impress for the NMACC Gala by wearing a gorgeous tulle saree. The star won our hearts when she posted a series of images of her outfit from the event on her Instagram page the day before. Sharvari donned a sheer white tulle saree while serving as the muse for fashion designer Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. With a heavily decorated white blouse, a dramatic sleeve, and pearls sewn all over, Sharvari gave her appearance additional oomph. Sharvari gave us big fashion aspirations to follow as she posed for the photos while looking like a vision in white. Her form was wonderfully caressed by the tailored tulle saree, which also highlighted her curves.

It was one of the biggest weekends as celebrities from across the world were seen under one roof for the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre’s grand launch. For the inaugural weekend, celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Kajol, Spider-Man co-stars Tom Holland and Zendaya, Penelope Cruz, Karlie Kloss, Kat Graham, Gigi Hadid were in attendance. At the NMACC gala, SRK enthralled the audience with his performance that left everyone mesmerized.

On NMACC’s gala day, which was held on April 1, Shah Rukh Khan made an appearance after Varun Dhawan’s performance as he danced to the beats of ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ from his blockbuster movie Pathaan. As the audience cheered for the megastar, he was joined by Ranveer Singh and Varun. Turns out, as SRK performed, his eldest son Aryan Khan was lovingly watching his father and smiled. The video has gone viral as the young star kid was adoringly watching his father.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is basking in the success of Pathaan. He is currently on the verge of wrapping the shoot for Atlee Kumar’s Jawan. The film is scheduled for June 2023 release. He also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki set for December release.

EXCLUSIVE: Zayed Khan to make a GRAND comeback with mockumentary film TFTNW; reportedly features guest appearances by 15-20 actors, including father Sanjay Khan

Zayed Khan recently completed 20 years in the film industry. His thriller, Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne was released on March 21, 2003, and on this special occasion, the actor put up a dashing picture on his Instagram handle and promised his followers that his next release is around the corner.

A few days after this post, which got loads of appreciation, Bollywood Hungama exclusively spoke to Zayed Khan. The actor looked quite dashing and seemed excited as he opened up about his comeback film, TFTNW, where, in his own words, the butt of jokes is him. The film’s idea and concept came from actor Aseem Merchant, who also produced the film. Aseem, Zayed and Mohit Srivastava and Kavin Dave have penned the script while Mohit has also directed this mockumentary film.

As per reports, the film stars 15-20 prominent Bollywood personalities in cameos like Riteish Deshmukh, Farah Khan, Suzanne Khan, Jackie Shroff etc. Zayed Khan remained tightlipped about this aspect, the meaning of the title and on which digital platform it’ll premiere. However, Zayed was more than happy to share how he became a part of the film.

Zayed Khan began by saying, “For the first 10 years, I gave it my all. I lived out of the suitcase as I went for shoots, events, performances, shows etc. I also had children at a really early age. I read the biography of a very famous gentleman who stated how he missed out on the growing years of his children. It just struck me that my kids are growing up and I want to spend time with them. I consciously decided to step back. That’s the worst thing to do! On one level, it was really nice as I got to experience a lot of things I wanted, as a father. I took them on holidays. I am a sportsman myself and introduced them to sports like diving. But when you completely disappear from the radar, people forget easily.”

Zayed Khan continued, “When I wanted to come back into the industry, I realized that it was very hard. Of course, you have friends and people who can help you out. They are, however, not the ones who take the call. The audience is the one who makes the call. The studios represent what the audience demands. Also, things had changed a lot. People don’t have the time and patience to watch a 2 ½ hour-long film. Many will of course ask, ‘Who the hell is Zayed Khan?’.”

He added, “Also, my kids had never really seen me in action, on a film set. Everytime I go out with family and friends, there’ll be people taking pictures with me. They didn’t really get why this frenzy was there around me.”

It’s Zayed Khan’s children, Zidaan and Aariz Khan, who gave him the much needed push, “One day, my kids came up to me and said, ‘Why don’t you resume acting?’. I replied, ‘If that happens, I won’t get time to see you guys’. They were fine with it and insisted that they would want to see me work in movies. They helped germinate the idea.”

Zayed stated, “Then, I met a lot of people and tried to produce. But the warmth that was given to me when I was a star was very different. It dawned on me that this is a star-based system. One can believe that writing is now paramount and things are streamlined. But at the end of the day, everyone wants to know who’s starring in your film or show. You can write a work as great as that of Shakespeare but nobody will give a damn if a star is not mouthing your lines.”

Things, however, changed for the better for Zayed. He narrated, “One day, I was a little low. A friend, Aseem Merchant, walked in. He looked at me and asked, ‘You are such a lovely, good-looking guy. Why the hell are you not doing anything?’. It’s an easy question to ask but very difficult for me to answer! How do I tell him that I tried, went to a lot of places and irrespective of where I come from, it didn’t work out? I didn’t say that. I replied, ‘I don’t know, man. Let’s see what happens’. This is when he said that he has an idea and wants to cast me. I looked at him with dodgy eyes and asked, ‘Why do you want to do a film with me?’! Aseem simply said, ‘The best is yet to come from you’! It was nice to see somebody having some faith in me.”

Zayed further said, “Aseem then narrated the idea of TFTNW. On the face of it, it sounded promising. But I was apprehensive. I mean I was already down and then I do a film where the butt of the jokes is on me. What if things get messed up at the execution level? However, I have been brought up with the attitude that ‘No risk, no reward’. I also asked, ‘What do I have to lose?’”

Zayed described the writing process and said, “When I read the first script, I could see that the writers (Aseem Merchant, Mohit Srivastava and Kavin Dave) had a lot of reservations about not trying to hurt me too much! I told them to push the envelope. I was ready to be the butt of all jokes. I told them, ‘If you feel some jokes are going to hurt my sentiments, make it f*****g funny while you do so’! That’s when they cleared their feathers out and came back with another draft. From here on, the writing went to another crazy level.”

Zayed is all praises for Aseem Merchant, “I’d like to make a special mention of Aseem and his daughter Sasha. They both are an incredible team. They made a blind bet by signing me. I want to also specially mention Mohit Srivastava, the director. He is very sound technically and never bogged down under pressure. The whole unit was like one big happy family. So overall, it was a great journey. I discovered so much about myself all over again.”

Zayed then explains why he’s so confident about TFTNW, “We had a focus group screening. It had 100 people from the ages of 10 to 90 years old and different walks of life. My kids also attended the screening. Their response blew us! My kids watched it 7 times. They have never seen any of my films 7 times besides probably Main Hoon Na (2004)! Every time we’ll have a focus screening, they’ll ask me, ‘Papa, can we watch it again?’. I asked, ‘Do you really want to watch it or are you saying it to make me feel good?’. But they assured me that they loved the film.”

Zayed Khan signed off by saying, “It was so heartening to see not just children but even teenagers, the elderly, and middle-aged people – all loving TFTNW. It’s very hard to achieve this feat. We are all gearing up for the final phase, that is marketing, PR etc.”

Ishaan Khatter to join Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber in Netflix limited series The Perfect Couple

It seems like following his Mira Nair’s series, A Suitable Boy, and a cameo in Don’t Look Up, Ishaan Khatter will make his appearance in an upcoming Netflix limited series The Perfect Couple. Starring Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber, the series also stars Eve Hewson, Billy Howle, Dakota Fanning, Meghann Fahy, Jack Reynor, Sam Nivola, Mia Isac, Donna Lynne Champlin, and Isabelle Adjani.

The news was confirmed by Variety when they announced the ensemble cast of the movie on March 31. Ishaan Khatter will essay the role of Shooter Dival, the best of the groom played by Benji Winbury. He had been in talks for the role for a while with the producers and was confirmed for the part last month. It will be a six-episode limited series which was greenlit in August 2022.

As per the report, Leiv Schreiber will essay the role of Tag Winbury, the father of the grom; Billy Howle will play Benji Winbury, the groom; Dakota Fanning will essay the role of Abby Winbury, the sister-in-Law; Fahy is cast in the role of Merritt Monaco, the bride’s best friend; Reynor will play Thomas Winbury, the brother of the groom; Nivola has been roped in to play Will Winbury, the brother of the groom; Isaac will essaying the role of Chloe Carter; the daughter of Chief of Police. Meanwhile, Champlin will be playing the role of the detective, Nikki Henry; Adjani will have a recurring role as Isabel Nallet, who is a family friend.

The official logline reads, “Amelia Sacks (Hewson) is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury (Kidman), has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season — until a body turns up on the beach. As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect.”

The Perfect Couple begins production on the series this week. Shawn Levy and Josh Barry of 21 Laps Entertainment will executive produce along with Sussanne Bier who is directing as well. Jenna Lamia will serve as showrunner and executive producer.

Meanwhile, Ishaan Khatter is set to star in Pippa. Based on ‘The Burning Chaffees’ written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta and scored by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, Pippa is a heroic tank battle film that underscores the bravery of Brigadier Mehta, a veteran of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron, who, along with his siblings, fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971, which led to the liberation of India’s neighbour Bangladesh. At the centre of the film is the amphibious war tank involved in the victory, affectionately christened “Pippa”, which like an empty ghee da dabba smoothly floats on water. Produced by RSVP and Roy Kapur Films, Pippa stars Ishaan Khatter, Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli and Soni Razdan.

Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra relive Dil Dhadakne Do memories; dance together on ‘Gallan Goodiyaan’

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who recently opened up about her reason for staying away from Bollywood, returned to India for a major event organized by the famous Ambanis. The actress, accompanied by husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, attended the inaugural event of NMACC aka Nita Mukesh Ambani Culture Centre in Mumbai which was a star-studded affair. While many Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities made their presence felt, some of them also performed on stage including PC’s Dil Dhadakne Do co-star Ranveer Singh.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas met up with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh during the NMACC event and a video of them chit-chatting with each other went viral on social media. Their presence on the second day of the event also grabbed eyeballs as it saw the reunion of Ayesha and Kabir on stage. Priyanka and Ranveer, who play the kids of Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah in the Zoya Akhtar film Dil Dhakane Do, performed on the popular track from the film, ‘Gallan Goodiyaan’.
