Allu Arjun expresses gratitude to fans on his 41st birthday: ‘I am truly blessed’

The rage of Pushpa 2 – The Rule has started to rule over the heads of the masses for the last couple of days. After a long wait, the fans just got a big surprise when the makers released the poster of Pushpa 2: The Rule featuring Allu Arjun aka Pushpa Raj in a never seen avatar. As the poster came as a big treat for Allu Arjun fans, the actor celebrated his 41st birthday by expressing gratitude towards fans.

Taking to his social media accounts, Allu Arjun thanked the fans who gathered outside his home, sent him well-wishes on social media and who continue to support him. Dressed in a black t-shirt and white joggers, he penned a note which read, “Thank You all. Thank you for all the love & wishes from all over. I am truly blessed. Humbled. Gratitude Forever…”

Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of the most awaited films of the year and as the makers have just released the poster with a bang, it has marked the beginning of Pushpa’s rule.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is directed by Sukumar and stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan, Ranveer Singh hail Kolkata Knight Riders’ Rinku Singh’s five successive sixes against Gujarat Titans in thrilling IPL match

Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Aryan Khan among others took to social media on Sunday to hail cricketer Rinku Singh who impressed everyone during Indian Premier League (IPL) match. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the match against Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday by three wickets. However, it was Rinku Singh’s five successive sixes that changed the game altogether at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Rinku Singh was also awarded Player of the Match for his match-winning performance.

Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to hail Rinku Singh and wrote, “JHOOME JO RINKUUUUU !!! My baby @rinkusingh235 And @NitishRana_27 & @venkateshiyer you beauties!!! And remember Believe that’s all. Congratulations @KKRiders and @VenkyMysore take care of your heart sir!”

Suhana Khan took to her Instagram story and shared a picture and captioned it,  “Unreal.”

Aryan Khan also reacted to Rinku Singh’s stupendous final over and called him a ‘beast’.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is basking in the success of Pathaan. The film, released in January 2023, surpassed Rs. 1000 crore mark at the global box office. He is currently on the verge of wrapping the shoot for Atlee Kumar’s Jawan. The film is scheduled for June 2023 release. He also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki set for December release.

Kabir Khan on marrying Mini Mathur, “Religion was never really an issue”

Filmmaker Kabir Khan has given some memorable films in his career so far, including Kabul Express, New York, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and 83. The filmmaker is married to the actress and television presenter Mini Mathur. In a recent conversation, Kabir said that despite he and Mini being from different religious backgrounds, it never became an obstacle in their marriage.

Speaking with Humans of Bombay, Kabir said, “Mini comes from a very traditional Mathur family. Religion was never really an issue and initially, Mini thought that there will be an issue in trying to convince her extended family but it’s just so beautiful how they all accepted me.”

During the initial phase of his career, Kabir used to make war documentaries in war-torn regions like Afghanistan, Palestine, etc. But he always used to make it a point to send letters and postcards to Mini Mathur. He said that this used to impress her father.

Sharing more about his marriage, Kabir added, “We had a wedding, did rituals from both sides, more for the families than for us. I am actually an atheist, so I don’t really truly believe in God and religion, so it was very easy for me to sort of accept all that.”

On the work front, Kabir’s last outing 83 was based on India’s victory in the 1983 cricket world cup. The film starred Ranveer Singh in the role of India’s former captain and all-rounder Kapil Dev while Deepika Padukone played his wife Romi. Kabir’s upcoming film is with Kartik Aaryan, which is yet untitled. The filmmaker recently revealed that the film is based on an unknown hero from India.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu sends birthday wishes to ex-husband Naga Chaitanya’s brother Akhil Akkineni

It seems like Samantha Ruth Prabhu has remained cordial with Naga Chaitanya’s family even after their divorce. She seems to share a good bond with his brother Akhil Akkineni. On Saturday, the actress took to her Instagram to share a special birthday note for Akhil and even gave a shoutout to his movie, Agent.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the Shaakuntalam actress shared the poster of Agent and wrote, “Happy birthday @akkineniakhil. Yayy #Agent on the 28th. This is going to be (lit). Lots of love.”

Akhil Akkineni reposted the story and wrote, “Thank you so much Sam. I hope I meet your expectations (heart emoji).”

She had even given a shout-out to Akhil Akkineni’s movie Beast. Commenting on his post, she had said, “Beast mode on,” along with a fire emoji.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation in October 2021 after almost five years of marriage.

On the work front, Samantha is gearing up for the release of Shaakuntalam. The story revolves around the epic love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant from Mahabharata, portrayed by Samantha and Dev Mohan. Written & Directed by Gunasekhar, presented by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations in collaboration with Gunaa Teamworks and produced by Neelima Guna, the movie will release on April 14 in 3D.
