Keerthy is teaming up with Jayam Ravi for the first time in Siren, the upcoming sports drama.

Diljit Dosanjh bonding with DJ Diplo over tea is going viral on the internet today!

Diljit Dosanjh recently received a lot of rave reviews, not only from the audiences but also from many industry insiders, who were proud of his successful concert in the USA. Diljit became the first Punjabi musician to perform at the prestigious music festival of Coachella in California. And it seems audiences were not just cheering for the songs but many popular American celebs and viewers were also seen dancing to his tunes at the event. Among them was also famous DJ Diplo, who was not only seen enjoying Dosanjh’s music but also bonded with him during the fest.

Diljit Dosanjh took to Instagram to share a fun video of the duo enjoying ‘tea time’ with each other as the Punjabi actor-singer was seen giving him a taste of ‘mithai’ (Indian sweets). Moreover, the two were also seen dancing and bonding like homies convincing fans that there might be a collaboration happening soon. Diljit posted the video with the caption, “Ley Bai @diplo Hun Apna Bai Ae”. Diplo, too, was quick to drop a comment on it saying, “Mithe laddo, Mithe beats”.

On the other hand, excited fans of Dosanjh shared excitement as they believed it to be a hint of a collaboration in the making. “Diplo (×) Diljit loading,” commented a user. “Ok ok here we go a new song is coming!,” asserted one. Another fan added, “The collab we never knew we needed.” One of them also dropped a comment in the quintessential Punjabi style adding, “Hun ta Collab pakki aa”. “Collab time,” said one of them whereas another one was quite sure about a song on the cards as they added, “truly looking forward for this collab”.

Besides this video, Diljit and DJ Diplo also posted a couple of other videos from the same bonding moment on their Instagram stories.

For the unversed, Diplo had earlier shared a video of him dancing his heart out and dedicated a special post to Diljit Dosanjh’s performance at Coachella, congratulating him for being the first Punjabi musician to perform at the music fest.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas share a kiss, enjoy eating ice-cream while strolling in Rome amid Citadel promotions, see video

Following the premiere of Citadel in London, Priyanka Chopra took off to Rome with her popstar husband Nick Jonas, who is currently on tour with Jonas Brothers. The two of them were enjoying a blissful time together strolling on the streets of Rome.

The video sees the two of them walking around the Colosseum. Priyanka Chopra is wearing an olive green co-ord set with a black jacket whereas Nick is donning a white t-shirt and a red shirt with white sneakers. The two of them shared a kiss in the video. It ends with them having some fun while eating ice cream. Sharing the video on Instagram, Nick simply captioned it, ‘Rome’.

Priyanka Chopra is in Rome to promote Citadel and lend support to the Italian version of the series, which has already wrapped. The synopsis reads, “Eight years ago, Citadel fell. The independent global spy agency – tasked to uphold the safety and security of all people – was destroyed by operatives of Manticore, a powerful syndicate manipulating the world from the shadows. With Citadel’s fall, elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) had their memories wiped as they narrowly escaped with their lives. They’ve remained hidden ever since, building new lives under new identities, unaware of their pasts. Until one night, when Mason is tracked down by his former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), who desperately needs his help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order. Mason seeks out his former partner, Nadia, and the two spies embark on a mission that takes them around the world in an effort to stop Manticore, all while contending with a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous-yet-undying love.”

Citadel is executive produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and showrunner David Weil. Alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden, the 6-episode series features Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville in pivotal roles. This spy series, which takes viewers around the world, will premiere exclusively on Prime Video starting April 28 with two episodes and then one episode rolling out weekly through May 26. The global series will stream in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and other international languages.

On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra also has an array of line up including Love Again with Celine Dion and Sam Hueghan. She is starring in Heads Of State with Idris Elba and John Cena and Ending Things with Anthony Mackie. The actress also has the Hindi film Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. The road trip film will be directed by Farhan Akhtar.

RIP Pamela Chopra: Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt pen heartfelt condolence remembering Yash Chopra’s wife

Late producer-director Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra, who was a writer and singer, has passed away at the age of 74. The news was reported on April 20, 2023. As per reports, she was admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital for the past 15 days and passed away due to age-related illnesses. As industry mourned the loss of the writer-singer, many visited the Chopra house before the last rites. Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt took to social media to pay their last respects.

Ajay Devgn shared a picture of Pamela Chopra on Twitter and wrote, “My thoughts and prayers are with Adi, Rani, Uday and all members of the Chopra family in their hour of grief. RIP respected Pam Chopra Ji. Om Shanti.”

Sharing an old picture of Yash Chopra and Pamela Chopra, Anupam Kher wrote, “Saw the friendship of the world, All separated one by one. Goodbye Pam Chopra!! You and Yash ji were an integral and important part of my years in Mumbai! I always considered your smile as one of the beautiful gifts given to me by life. I was lucky that I got to spend a lot of time with you! Om Shanti.”

The official statement from Yash Raj Films read, “With heavy hearts, the Chopra family would like to inform that Pamela Chopra, 74, passed away this morning. Her cremation took place at 11 am today in Mumbai. We are grateful for your prayers and the family would like to request for privacy in this moment of deep sadness and reflection.”

Pamela Chopra was admitted to Lilavati Hospital.  “She passed away today early morning due to pneumonia with ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome). She had been admitted to the hospital for 15 days in the ICU,” Dr. Prahlad Prabhudesai told PTI.

Pamela Chopra worked as a singer, costume designer, and writer and was credited as a co-producer in many Yash Raj Films’ production. She was credited as the writer of Kabhie Kabhie and dress designer in Silsila and Sawaal. She crooned several songs for movies like Kabhie Kabhie, Noorie, Kaala Patthar, Chandni, Silsila, and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, among others. Chopra was last seen in the YRF’s docu-series The Romantics to celebrate 50 years of the studio. She spoke about her journey, Yash Chopra’s long-lasting career, and how Aditya Chopra took the legacy forward.

Besides films, she was also involved in production and philanthropy. Pamela Chopra is survived by her two sons Aditya Chopra and Uday Chopra.

Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan features Bhagyashree, Himalay Dassani, Abhimanyu Dassani in special appearances; makers pay a lovely tribute to Maine Pyar Kiya

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, starring Salman Khan, has finally released today. There’s a lot of excitement surrounding this film as it marks Salman’s first Eid release in nearly four years. The trade and industry expect the film to work due to Salman’s star power, songs, larger-than-life feel and family-friendly elements.

Bollywood Hungama has now learnt that there’s another major USP of the film. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Bhagyashree has a crucial cameo in the film. Audiences are going to love seeing her and Salman together after nearly 33 years.” Both were last seen in the 1989 blockbuster romantic saga, Maine Pyar Kiya.

The source further said, “The makers have paid a lovely tribute to Maine Pyar Kiya. And along with Bhagyashree, her husband Himalay Dassani and actor-son Abhimanyu Dassani also feature in the film in special appearances. Those who have seen it can’t stop raving about it and feel it’ll lead to madness in cinema halls.”

Besides Salman Khan, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also stars Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Bhumika Chawla, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Vinali Bhatnagar and Vijender Singh. It is directed by Farhad Samji and is the story of a man and his pampered three younger brothers.

Bhagyashree made a stunning debut with Maine Pyar Kiya, directed by Sooraj Barjatya, for which she even won the Best Debut Award at the 35th Filmfare Awards. A year after the film’s release, she married Himalay Dassani. She was then seen in Qaid Main Hai Bulbul (1992), Tyagi (1992) and Paayal (1992), all co-starring her husband. She also acted with Avinash Wadhawan in Ghar Aaya Mera Pardesi (1993), after which she took a break from Hindi cinema. Recently, she was seen in supporting roles in Kangana Ranaut-starrer Thalaivii (2021) and Prabhas-Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam (2022).
