Anushka Sharma’s bodyguard fined Rs. 10,500 by Mumbai Police for riding a bike without helmet and license

Actress Anushka Sharma recently opted for a motorcycle as an option to reach shoot locations amid Mumbai traffic. The actress was seen sitting on the pillion seat while her bodyguard drove the bike. After the photos went viral on social media, netizens pointed out that the actress wasn’t wearing a helmet and so did her bodyguard. As per the Motor Vehicle Act, pillion riders are also expected to wear helmets and are fined for flouting the rules. Now, Mumbai Police has fined her bodyguard.

Now, the Mumbai Traffic Police has issued a challan against Anushka Sharma’s bodyguard Sonu Shaikh and fined him of Rs. 10,500 for riding the bike without a helmet and a license. On Twitter, Mumbai Traffic Police posted, “Challan has been issued under Sec 129/194(D), Sec 5/180 & Sec 3(1)181 MV act to the driver along with an fine of Rs. 10500 & been paid by the offender.”

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma will next star in Chakda Xpress on Netflix. The actress will play the role of cricketer Jhulan Goswami.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to release on June 1, 2023, a day before its US release

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has left Indian fans extremely exhilarated since the trailer of the film has come out. Recently, the makers announced that the voice of Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar will be lent by famous cricketer Shubhman Gill for the Hindi and Punjabi versions of the film and this announcement took the excitement of the audiences to the highest heights. Owing to the fans’ eagerness, the makers have decided to release the film on 1st June 2023, a day before its worldwide release.

Speaking about this exciting development, Shony Panjikaran – General Manager and Head of Sony Pictures Releasing International (SPRI) India said, “The interest and excitement Indian fans have shown towards Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is overwhelming. To fulfil this unprecedented demand in our market, we’ve decided to release the film a day prior, and again to reiterate in 10 languages.”

For ages, Spider-man has been among the most popular and most loved superheroes in every generation. After the massive success of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018, the masses can’t wait to get engrossed in the new dimensions of spider verse again.

Setting another milestone, Sony Pictures Entertainment India releases Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi and Bengali on 1st June 2023, only in Cinemas.

Delhi High Court directs Twitter to share details of the users leaking content of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan

In recent times, many clips of the Atlee Kumar directorial Jawan have surfaced online in which Shah Rukh Khan was shooting a song with Nayanthara and Deepika Padukone, respectively. Even leaked clips of alleged teaser have also surfaced online. Following a string of leaked content, Delhi High Court on Tuesday ordered social media platforms, Cable TV platforms, rogue websites, direct-to-home services and ‘John Doe’ defendants to take down the leaked content and refrain from committing copyright infringement of Jawan. Now, the Delhi High Court has directed Twitter to provide basic information and other relevant details of the five accounts that have been indulging in the leaking of Jawan photos and videos.

Justice C Hari Shankar on Wednesday disposed of the application filed by Red Chillies Entertainments Private Limited. As per Live Law India, the production house has filed a suit against “various rogue websites and other social media platforms seeking to restrain them from committing any infringement in relation to its copyright in the film.” On Wednesday, the counsel submitted additional details of the accounts that have committed the leaks. In its order, the court said, “Thus court directs the defendant no. 2 (Twitter) to provide information of five accounts by way of an affidavit as an additional document with an advanced copy to the counsel of the plaintiff so that the plaintiff can take appropriate action.”

Previously, Justice C Hari Shankar directed the social media platforms like YouTube, Google, Twitter, Reddit and others to take steps to stop the spread of the copyrighted content of Jawan. Justice Shanker further ordered, “various internet service providers to block access to the websites displaying or making available for viewing or downloading the content of the movie.”

While Atlee Kumar and his team are working on post-production simultaneously, the commercial action entertainer also stars Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Ridhi Dogra, and Sunil Grover.

Red Chillies Entertainment presents Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead and produced by Gauri Khan. Jawan will be released on September 7, 2023, in five languages making it Shah Rukh Khan’s first pan-India film.

Karan Johar to unveil new content from Ranveer Singh – Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani on his birthday May 25

It has been a while now since Karan Johar announced his return to the directorial seat with the Ranveer Singh – Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Produced under his banner Dharma Productions, the film also features veteran performers Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in prominent roles. In fact, ever since its announcement, the hype around the film has been steadily building. Now Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Karan Johar will be unveiling some new content from the film on his birthday May 25.

Commenting on the same a source close to the developments tells Bollywood Hungama exclusively, “Karan knows the buzz surrounding Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and the fact that the audience are eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the film. Keeping this in mind he is planning to unveil some new content from the venture on his 51^st birthday, May 25.” Ask the source for details and he continues, “It could be anything. So far, only the logo of the film has been revealed, but rest assured whatever Karan decides on releasing, will only heighten the furore around the project.”

Further talking about the promotions of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, the source reveals that an elaborate plan is being conceptualized. “Karan Johar and the team are working hard to ensure that the film appeals to the audience, and are in the midst of brainstorming a rather elaborate promotional campaign. In fact, expect the campaign to be a month long affair that will cover digital, on ground and even social campaigns.” Though the source has revealed a lot, he remains tight lipped about what content the audience can expect on May 25. “As I said it could be anything,” says the source.

As for the film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is a romantic comedy directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy. Produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios, the film is slated to release on July 28, 2023.
