Kiara Advani gets full family support as her Mother Genevieve and Mother-in-law Rimma Malhotra join her for Satyaprem Ki Katha promotions on The Kapil Sharma Show

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani is finding joy not only in her professional life but also in her personal life. The actress is currently having a delightful workday, accompanied by her mother and mother-in-law. Recently, Kiara was captured stepping out of her vanity van, where the trio was seen enjoying some quality time together on the set of the film Satyaprem Ki Katha.

In the video shared, Kiara’s mother looked lovely in an oversized white shirt paired with black flared pants. Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra’s mother wore a colourful kurta and palazzo set, walking alongside Kiara’s mother as they both stepped out of the vanity van. It appeared that both the actress’ mother and mother-in-law came to support Kiara on The Kapil Sharma Show.

While for the show, Kiara Advani looked stunning in a pink saree. She elegantly paired it with an off-white sequined blouse, tied her hair in a ponytail, and showcased beautiful jhumka earrings as she stepped out of her vanity van and entered the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show. Talking about the film, Satyaprem Ki Katha also marks a massive collaboration between NGE and Namah Pictures. Interestingly, Sajid Nadiadwala and Shareen Mantri Kedia with Kishor Arora & director Sameer Vidwans won a National Award for their respective feature films Chhichhore and Anandi Gopal. Satyaprem Ki Katha is slated to hit theatres June 29, 2023.

The film also marks as reunion of the beloved on-screen duo Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, known for their previous collaboration in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which emerged as one of the biggest box-office hits of the previous year. Satyaprem Ki Katha is a highly anticipated romantic musical love saga has been teasing audiences with an intriguing teaser and the soulful song, ‘Naseeb Se.’ and the recently released official trailer, further intensifying the excitement surrounding its upcoming release. Kiara also has Game Changer in her pipeline.

First Glimpse: Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi unveil romantic engagement pictures; Suniel Shetty, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and others congratulate them

On June 9, Friday, actors Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi celebrated their engagement in a private and intimate ceremony. The couple delighted their fans by sharing the first pictures from the engagement on Instagram, shortly after midnight. The candid snapshots showcased both Varun and Lavanya proudly displaying their engagement rings.

Few hours after the engagement, both Varun and Lavanya took to their Instagram account and delighted fans with beautiful pictures from their ceremony. In the pictures, Varun looked dashing in a white kurta pyjama, while Lavanya exuded grace in a light green saree. She complemented her attire with traditional jewellery and styled her hair in an elegant loose bun. Sharing the pictures, Varun wrote in caption, “Found my Lav! @itsmelavanya,” while Lavanya captioned, “2016 (heart and infinite emoji) Found my forever! @varunkonidela7,” in her post.

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty dropped a heart emoticon while Samantha Ruth Prabhu commented, “Congratulations (heart emoticons).” Lakshmi Manchu wrote, “Here’s wishing you a lifetime of happiness.” Several other celebrities and fans congratulated the couple in the comments section.

For the unversed, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi met each other on the sets of their 2017 film Mister, a romantic action drama directed by Srinu Vaitla. While the two actors were expected to have shared a great on and off-screen camaraderie during the shoot of the film, we heard that the rumours about them dating started surfacing when they worked together again in the 2020 film Antariksham 9000 KMPH. The sci-fi adventure movie also featured Aditi Rao Hydari and was directed by Sankalp Reddy. According to reports, Varun chose to make his official proposal to Lavanya during her birthday celebration in Bangalore. Despite this significant event, the couple made a mutual decision to keep their relationship a secret until they were ready to publicly announce their engagement.

Vicky Kaushal’s father Sham Kaushal shares his journey of survival against all odds post cancer diagnosis; says, “I accepted the fact that I won’t survive”

In 2003, Vicky Kaushal’s father faced a diagnosis of stomach cancer. However, he courageously battled against this life-threatening illness and emerged as a survivor. In a recent interview, Sham Kaushal, Vicky’s father, openly shared his remarkable journey, which is truly captivating. Reflecting on his experience, Sham revealed that doctors had given him a grim prognosis, stating that he wouldn’t survive. Despite the odds stacked against him, Sham not only made a remarkable recovery but also described those days as some of the best in his life. He mentioned that his sons, Vicky and actor Sunny Kaushal, were teenagers when he faced his health crisis.

Sham told Rajshri Unplugged, “As soon as I got back, there were a lot of complications in my stomach. Some time in October, I had to get admitted in Nanavati Hospital. The doctors said that I won’t survive.” Sham further added, “I accepted the fact that I won’t survive, so I prayed to God that I am not unhappy, I am 48. I started from nothing and I have achieved a lot. You take me away but if you are going to save me, then don’t make me a weak person. I can’t live like a weak person.”

Sham further mentioned that he underwent surgical procedures at the hospital and was subsequently discharged. Over time, he made a gradual recovery. He said, “After they said I won’t survive, I saw the best days of my life. I won all the awards after 2003. My best films came after that. My kids became successful after that.”

During a earlier interview with The Times of India, Sham had revealed that he attempted to return the signing amount for Anurag Kashyap’s film Black Friday as he was originally slated to be the action director. However, Anurag Kashyap chose to wait for Sham’s recovery. In that same interview, Sham candidly admitted that he contemplated ending his life as he felt there was no hope for his recuperation. He said, “I thought there’s no chance of me surviving. I had even decided that I would end my life by jumping off the third floor because I couldn’t live like that.”

For those not in the know, Sham Kaushal, Vicky Kaushal’s father, is a renowned action director in the film industry. His impressive body of work includes notable films such as Dangal, Bajirao Mastani, and many others. Starting his career as a stunt performer in the late 1970s, Sham primarily collaborated with Veeru Devgan, a highly esteemed action director during that era.
