Kangana Ranaut starrer Tejas to release in cinemas on October 20

From Ronnie Screwvala’s production house RSVPm Tejas, featuring Kangana Ranaut in the lead role as Air Force pilot Tejas Gill, is set for theatrical release. The team behind Tejas has confirmed that the film will hit theatres nationwide on 20th October.

Tejas revolves around the extraordinary journey of Tejas Gill, an Air Force pilot, and aims to inspire and instill a deep sense of pride in the valiant soldiers who tirelessly defend our nation, confronting numerous challenges along the way.

Written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara, starring Kangana Ranaut in the titular role, the film is all set to be in cinemas on 20th October 2023.

Kajol and Kriti Sanon to star in Kanika Dhillons maiden production Do Patti

Renowned writer-turned-producer Kanika Dhillon is all set to make her mark in the world of filmmaking with her maiden production venture under her banner, Kathha Pictures. Titled Do Patti, the film has secured the talented Bollywood stars Kajol and Kriti Sanon as its leading stars.

After taking the world on adventurous trips with her stories in much-loved movies like ‘Kedarnath, Manmarziyaan, Haseen Dilruba, Rashmi Rocket, and Guilty, amongst others, Kanika Dhillon sharing her excitement says, “I am absolutely thrilled to embark on this new journey as a producer. Do Patti is a compelling story, very close to my heart as a writer and I am thrilled to start my journey as a producer with Do Patti. And such talented actors like Kriti and Kajol and of course Netflix. The writer in me feels empowered today that apart from creating the world on paper, I can curate my vision into reality. The writer-turned-producer is also currently gearing for her upcoming releases including Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan and Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba after the success of Haseen Dilruba, amongst others.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani: Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh gaze at each other under a smiling Karan Johars command in behind-the-scenes photo

Filmmaker Karan Johar returns to direction with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem after seven years since Karan’s last directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Billed as a new era of love, the makers had released the film’s teaser in June 2023 followed by song release ‘Tum Kya Mile’. On July 4, the trailer of the upcoming film was unveiled which also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhary and Jaya Bachchan.

Post the trailer release, Alia Bhatt hosted a mini Q&A session with fans on Instagram and answered some fun questions about the film. Towards the end of the session, she shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself gazing at Ranveer Singh under the supervision of Karan Johar. She wrote, “Okay that was funnnnn….I’ll see you soon…we shall pick this AMA up again…next time with RANI bye bye!”

The film promises to be this year’s biggest entertainer, a wholesome blend of emotions, humour, romance and family drama.

Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions present A Dharma Productions film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta is all set to hit the big screen on 28th July, 2023.

Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office Estimate Day 6: Collects Rs. 3.40 crores on Tuesday all eyes on 2nd weekend

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s Satyaprem Ki Katha has seen a dip in collections on Tuesday as according to early estimates, the movie has collected in the range of Rs. 3.30 to 3.4 crores. The total collection of the film now stands at approx. Rs. 45 crores and the movie is looking at an estimated week one total of Rs. 51 crores.

The numbers are just about average for the film, though, that’s primarily due to the decent trend the film showed over the extended weekend. The weekday trend leaves a lot for the film to cover in the long run. The 3 national chains are in the same range as Monday on Tuesday, but there were some group bookings in the multiplex on day 6.

The dip has come in the mass belts, and this has got to do with the plex-appealing content. The trend so far indicates a lifetime number of Rs. 70 crores, which will be in the same range as Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya. All eyes are now on the 2^nd weekend trend as that’s what will determine the verdict in the long run.

Bawaal is a love story by Sajid Nadiadwala’s production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in collaboration with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari’s Earthsky Pictures.

Bawaal will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and across 200 countries and territories on July 21.
