For the past couple of years, rumours have been rife that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious project Baiju Bawra. This will mark their third collaboration after Gully Boy and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement for the project. In the meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty seems to have auditioned for a pivotal part.
As per a report in Filmfare, Rhea Chakraborty has reportedly auditioned for a female lead role for which Bhansali was holding auditions. Though nothing has been confirmed yet, it seems like Chakraborty is trying her best to get back to films.
Ranveer Singh has worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. This will mark their fourth collaboration. Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, was seen in Gangubai Kathiawadi for which she won National Film Award for Best Actress, this year.
While the audience waits for the official announcement of the project, Bhansali is busy with Heeramandi. The star cast includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh was revealed. The series explores the cultural reality of Heeramandi, a dazzling district, through the stories of courtesans and their patrons set against the tumultuous backdrop of the Indian freedom struggle of the 1940s.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently obliterating the box office with Jawan which has entered the Rs. 600 crore club worldwide at the box office. In India, it has garnered Rs. 345.60 crore in just seven days of its release. The film, helmed by Atlee Kumar, stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara along with a special appearance from Deepika Padukone. Now, Karan Johar can’t stop raving about the movie.
Karan Johar on Thursday took to Instagram to rave about Jawan. Sharing a poster of the film, he wrote, “OMFG!!!!! I am late to this party!!!! But what a party this is!!!! @atlee47 hits it out of the stadium… it’s the kind of adrenalin rush film with big emotion that Indian cinema embodies and this film perfects!!!! Was blown away by the cinematic audacity of each frame!!!! How good was everyone !!!”
He added, “@sanyamalhotra_ @pillumani so so good! The entire ensemble! The gorgeous and fabulous @nayanthara @actorvijaysethupathi is so brilliant! Was mesmerised by @deepikapadukone she bought so much gravitas to her part and owned it like a bonafide veteran!!!!”

The movie also stars Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra, Mukesh Chhabra, Girija Oak Godbole, Aaliyah Qureishi, Ashlesha Thakur, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Lehar Khan.
Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma—the film released on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

Shilpa Shetty starrer Sukhee is all set to entertain audiences on 22nd September 2023. The actress has begun promotions of the movie. Amid the promo cycle, she recalled how it was Shah Rukh Khan, her first co-star, who helped her to learn acting and even Hindi during the shoot of Baazigar.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Shilpa Shetty said, “Bahut sukhee moments the because I was a newcomer unhone bahut patience ke sath mere sath kaam kiya. Kyunki na mujhe Hindi aati thi na acting. Toh maine jo bhi seekha us process mai Shah Rukh se bahut kuch seekhne ko mila mujhe kyunki he was a theatre actor. Camera ko face kaise karna, aur jis patience ke sath unhone mujhe scenes mai help kiya woh bahut hi sukhee moments rahe hai mere liye [So many happy moments because I was a newcomer and he worked with me with a lot of patience because I did not know how to speak Hindi or act. So whatever I learned in that process, I got to learn a lot from Shah Rukh because he was a theater actor. How to face the camera, and the patience with which he helped me in the scenes were very happy moments for me].”
Meanwhile, Sukhee marks the directorial debut of Sonal Joshi and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra and Shikhaa Sharma. The film has been written by Radhika Anand, with the screenplay by Paulomi Dutta.

Following weeks of chatter about the postponement of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, the makers of the Prabhas-led action movie have finally confirmed the delay in the film. Earlier set to release on September 28, Hombale Films said that the delay is due to unforeseen circumstances.
In a note shared on September 13, Hombale Films said in a statement, “We deeply appreciate your unwavering support for #Salaar. With consideration, we must delay the original September 28 release due to unforeseen circumstances. Please understand this decision is made with care, as we’re committed to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience. Our team is working tirelessly to meet the highest standards. The new release date will be revealed in due course. Stay with us as we make the final touches on #SalaarCeaseFire and thank you for being a part of this incredible journey.”

In a previous report by Bollywood Hungama, a source said, “Diwali will be an ideal period for Salaar since the back-to-back holidays will give a boost to the collections of the film all over India. At the same time, it’ll have to co-exist with Tiger 3. In fact, both films are big-scale action films meant for audiences of all kinds. This will be an epic clash on the lines of Dil vs Ghayal and Lagaan vs Gadar.”
The source further said, “We’ll see maara-maari happening for shows like never before. Both studios have a clout and will pressurize exhibitors for maximum showcasing. This is subject to Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire releasing on the Festival of Lights. In the larger interest of the industry, we hope that the makers immediately give out a release date to end speculations.”
Another source said, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire can also be released on November 24. It’ll be a time when the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will be over. So, it’s either November 10 or November 24. It won’t release on the pre-Diwali Friday of November 3. November 17 is ruled out for sure as the World Cup finals are on Sunday, November 19. Let’s wait for the official announcement.”
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire stars Prabhas along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu. It is being helmed by KGF director, Prashanth Neel.
