Vicky Kaushal applauds wife Katrina Kaif’s 20-year Bollywood journey; says, “I learn a lot from her”

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal in a candid interview, opened up about the dynamics of his own family and how it has evolved, particularly following his marriage to Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif.

In a recent conversation with The Indian Express, Vicky delved into his personal life and the transformation it underwent post his union with Katrina Kaif. Reflecting on Katrina’s impressive 20-year journey in the film industry, Vicky expressed his admiration and described her as his source of inspiration. He said, “I think it is very inspirational. Now knowing her even more, it’s truly inspirational. Now I know her as a human and she’s a real fighter, especially when things are not working in her favour. She’s a go-getter. I learn a lot from her.”

The actor went on to highlight the contrasting aspects of their personalities, emphasizing how he tends to be the laid-back, easy-going individual, while Katrina is known for her determination and unwavering commitment to her goals. Viky added, “My mindset is very different. I am more of a chiller. I am like, ‘Relax, ho jaayega,’ but she is like a fighter. She goes for it; she attacks it. I have realized that the way she is and what she has achieved for herself, in the last 20 years, is incredible. From where she came and then just being here and adapting, it’s incredible. She definitely is a star.”

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in The Great Indian Family opposite Manushi Chhillar. On the other hand, Katrina’s last film was Phone Bhoot, which was a theatrical release. Both these actors have a bunch of projects in their pipeline. Katrina will be next seen in Tiger 3 and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Merry Christmas. Whereas Vicky has Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur and YRF’s The Great Indian Family.

Ranbir Kapoor receives warm birthday wishes from mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni

Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor is overjoyed today as she celebrated her son’s birthday with love and festivities. Neetu, in a heartfelt Instagram post, offered a glimpse into the midnight surprise party thrown in honour of Ranbir Kapoor’s special day.

The shared image showcased a meticulously adorned table with exquisite roses and not one, but two splendid birthday cakes. A closer look at one cake revealed the sweet message, “Happy Birthday Raha’s papa.” A charming photo frame featuring the couple’s wedding picture added to the thoughtful arrangement. Neetu expressed her sentiments in the caption, “Birthday celebration with my most special.” She further extended her wishes in another Instagram story, writing, “Happy Birthday (heart emoticon) feel grateful for this special human being.”

Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, also joined in the birthday celebrations by sharing cherished memories and heartfelt wishes. Riddhima’s Instagram stories featured an array of unseen visuals, including nostalgic childhood photos and snapshots from Ranbir and Alia Bhatt’s wedding. Mumbai Diaries Season 2: Mohit Raina, Konkona Sen Sharma deal with aftermath of the terror attack in the teaser; series to premiere on October 6

Prime Video today announced the worldwide premiere date of the second season of Mumbai Diaries. Premiering on October 6 the second season will unfold with the doctors, trainees, and staff of Bombay General Hospital dealing with the aftermath of the terror attacks and their personal struggles that follow, juxtaposing it against the devastation brought by the Mumbai floods. The intricately woven narrative tells a gripping tale of human spirit and perseverance in the face of diversity.

Created and directed by Nikkhil Advani, the medical drama is produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani of Emmay Entertainment. The series brings back the highly versatile ensemble star cast from the previous season, which includes Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Prakash Belawadi.
