On a pleasant Thursday, Gauri Khan graced her Instagram account with a precious family portrait, showcasing the warmth and affection within the Khan household. In the photograph, Shah Rukh Khan occupied the central position, donning a stylish blue jacket and black pants. The loving bond between father and daughter was beautifully evident as Suhana leaned in to plant a kiss on her father’s cheek. Gauri Khan herself looks radiant in a white tie-up top paired with blue jeans, leaning gracefully on Shah Rukh’s shoulder. On the film front, Shah Rukh Khan has been on a remarkable cinematic journey recently, marking his comeback with Pathaan after a four-year hiatus. The film, also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, made a tremendous impact at the box office. Following Pathaan’s resounding success, Shah Rukh Khan continued his winning streak with Jawan, directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Atlee. This power-packed action thriller, also featuring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, surpassed the record set by Pathaan and further solidified Khan’s stature as a box office magnet. The actor’s next cinematic offering, Dunki, helmed by the celebrated director Rajkumar Hirani, is all set to hit the screens during this Christmas.

Make-up artist Bubah Alfian pens a note for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after he meets her at Paris Fashion Week 2023: “I used to hang her poster from Devdas with blue saree in my room”

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her way to Paris, this past weekend, to walk the ramp at the Paris Fashion Week 2023 for L’Oréal Paris. She wore a cape gown made of gold shimmer. Following her ramp walk, make-up artist Bubah Alfian took to his Instagram handle to share a picture of himself with Aishwarya and penned a note for her.

On his Instagram, he shared a photo and wrote, “I such a big fan of @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb for a longtime from Jeans movie and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,Devdas,Josh,Dhai aksar prem ke,Taal,Ae dil he muskhil.. I am very grateful to be able to meet @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb.  She was very kind.. and I could feel her warmth as she holds my hand while I cried tears of joy. She is the embodiment of an angel! Khushi Kapoor recalls how she bonded with Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and The Archies gang initially: “Doing acting workshops together made us open up and be vulnerable”

Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, is gearing up for the release of her debut film The Archies in December. Helmed by Zoya Akhtar, the young actress is also younger sister of Janhvi Kapoor, who had made her debut with Dhadak. At the India Today Conclave 2023 on Wednesday, Khushi Kapoor attended the panel titled ‘New Kids on the Block: Meet the Gen Z of Bollywood aka The Archies Gang’ and talked about her character Betty Cooper.

When asked if she is a ‘goody two-shoes’ just like her character, she said, “’I’d like to think so. I think we were cast because there was so much of us that we had in our characters. There’s a lot about Betty that I see in myself as well, and I think I found that out the more I played her. I think she is very sweet and empathetic but is also sensitive sometimes. And she is really caring, but sometimes she can tend to put other people’s needs ahead of hers. So, I think I kind of identified with certain parts of her a lot the more I played her.”

When asked how long they took to ‘break ice’ with each other, Khushi added that it didn’t take much time as all of them were prepping together. “We were forced to spend so much time together, and just going through the same experience made us bond so much. I think doing acting workshops together made us open up and be vulnerable with each other. I think towards the end of the shoot we were just kind of moving in a small herd everywhere together,” she said.

The Archies include Dot (Ethel Muggs), Agastya Nanda (Archie Andrews), Khushi Kapoor (Betty Cooper), Mihir Ahuja (Jughead Jones), Suhana Khan (Veronica Lodge), Vedang Raina (Reggie Mantle) and Yuvraj Menda (Dilton Doiley). They recently did their first performance of ‘Sunoh’ in Brazil at the Netflix Tudum event.

The film is set in the 1960s, and takes audiences to the fictional hilly town of Riverdale. The Archies is a coming-of-age musical following the lives of Riverdale’s favorite set of teenagers – Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton. Seen through the lens of the unique Anglo-Indian community, The Archies explores friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak and rebellion and is set to release on December 7, 2023.

The Archies’ Suhana Khan says Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are her biggest source of guidance: “We help each other out”

Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, is gearing up for the release of her debut film The Archies in December. Helmed by Zoya Akhtar, the young actress is elated to be a part of an iconic project. At the India Today Conclave 2023 on Wednesday, she attended the panel titled ‘New Kids on the Block: Meet the Gen Z of Bollywood aka The Archies Gang’.

Suhana Khan reflected on her first day on set by saying, “I guess all of that is very different from being in a Netflix film and being on a real film set as a working actor, I think, from the number of people on set, from the number of lights on set and the hair and makeup and all the chaos. And in the middle of this, I felt extremely insignificant. And, I guess I kind of knew that everything that everyone was doing around me was felicitating the director’s vision, Zoya’s vision and I guess knowing that on my first day and realising that, I felt extremely nervous.”

As she will play the role of Veronica Lodge in the movie, Suhana Khan added that her parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are her biggest source of guidance. She said, “I wouldn’t say my critic, but my biggest source of guidance is my parents. My entire family feels to chip in and help each other out.”

With The Archies, three-star kids are being launched. Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda and Sridevi’s second daughter Khushi Kapoor are making their Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar directorial.
