Manoj Bajpayee invests Rs. 31 crore in an office space in Mumbai

Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee has joined the ranks of Kajol, Amitabh Bachchan and many more in relation to investing in office space in Mumbai. The actor and his wife Shabana Raza have jointly invested Rs. 31 crore in a commercial real estate situated at Andheri.

According to The Economic Times, Manoj Bajpayee has purchased a four-office unit at a project by Veer Savarkar Projects in the Signature building in Oshiwara in Andheri. Each office unit measures approximately 1,905 square feet and is situated on the 12th floor with a cost of Rs. 7.77 crore each. Bajpayee and his wife paid Rs. 1.86 crore stamp duty.

Meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee is currently shooting for Bhaiyya Ji. Bhaiyya Ji will be shot in Uttar Pradesh for 45 days. Apart from Manoj, the movie is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Samiksha Oswal, Shael Oswal, Shabana Raza Bajpayee and Vikram Khakhar. The release date of the film is yet to be revealed.

Aamir Khan announces his next film titled Sitare Zameen Par

In the candid interview, Aamir Khan dropped an electrifying piece of news as he revealed his upcoming film Sitare Zameen Par, a project that carries a similar theme to the iconic Taare Zameen Par. He says, “I have not spoken about it publicly and I won’t be able to say much now also. But I can tell the title. The title of the film is Sitare Zameen Par. You must have remembered my film Taare Zameen Par and the name of this film is Sitare Zameen Par because we are moving 10 steps ahead with the same theme. Taare Zameen Par was an emotional film, this film will make you laugh. That film made you cry this one will entertain you. But the theme is the same that’s why we kept this name very thoughtfully. We all have flaws, we all कमज़ोरियाँ , but we all also have something special,  so we are taking forward this theme but this time the character of the special child Ishaan in that film, my character helps that character in Taare Zameen Par, in Sitaare Zameen Par, those 9 boys, who have their own issues they help me. Its opposite”

“Books transport us to a world of imagination” – says Sonam Kapoor

Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor is a voracious reader and she reveals how her love for books have kept her creatively satiated since her childhood. Sonam says, “Books transport us to a world of imagination. When I am not shooting or working, I am constantly reading and getting sucked into a world where everything is possible!”

Sonam loves it when a good book turns into a great cinematic adaptation! She says, “Some of my most favourite movies are adaptations of brilliant books. The love I have for books and cinema is in equal measure and it’s amazing when good books turn into good movies.”

Sonam feels books provide great material for writers to harness brilliant plots for cinema. She says, “Books provide the perfect source material for developing engrossing and entertaining screen content. I’ve always believed that a good story will be loved by all and also transcend all boundaries.”

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor is gearing up for two tent pole projects, details of which are under wraps.

Leo: Vijay starrer gets UA certificate from CBFC with 13 changes including muting of abuses; Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial runtime stands at 2 hours 44 minutes

Leo starring Thalapathy Vijay and helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is making the right kind of noise. Set to release in October, the posters and trailer have garnered a lot of attention. Now, the censor certificate is out and the runtime of the movie is revealed to be 2 hours and 44 minutes.

Leo has been certified U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification. The board has also ordered 13 changes including the reduction of gore scenes and muting swear words.

Reports have previously revealed that Leo is a part of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s cinematic universe comprising Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and Karthi’s Kaithi. The movie also stars Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin and Gautham Vasudev Menon among others. Recently, Anurag Kashyap also joined the line-up of actors.

Seven Screen Studios’ Leo is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is produced by SS Lalit Kumar. This action entertainer will release in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on October 19.

Nayanthara in talks to be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra: Report

One of the passion projects of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is Baiju Bawra which he is yet to announce with the lead cast members officially. Several reports have suggested that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will headline the project, who have previously worked together on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Gully Boy. A report suggests that even Nayanthara is in talks to join the Bhansali project.

According to a publication, Nayanthara has been reportedly approached for a pivotal role in Baiju Bawra. She made her Hindi film debut with the recent blockbuster Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan. She is apparently considering the project and is yet to sign on the dotted line. While there is no confirmation yet, the actress was reportedly seen at Bhansali’s office in March earlier this year, with her husband Vignesh Shivan.

In 1952, filmmaker Vijay Bhatt created the film Baiju Bawra, which starred Bharat Bhushan and Meena Kumari. Baiju Bawra, which translates to ‘Crazy Baiju’, is the story of a singer named Baiju who makes his life’s mission to defeat the great singer Tansen in a musical competition for a deep personal reason. Tansen was one of the nine jewels in the court of Emperor Akbar and defeating him was considered next to impossible.

Amitabh Bachchan will soon turn 81 and the celebrations will be taking place on Kaun Banega Crorepati. The megastar will receive a surprise from the makers of KBC in the form of video messages from several celebrities. Actors including Vidya Balan, Vicky Kaushal, Chiranjeevi, and Boman Irani, among others, sent their lovely wishes for Big B.

Reports also revealed that former KBC winners, Babi Tawde, Himani Bundela and Jaskaran Singh will also be a part of the celebration.

In the promo of the upcoming episode, Amitabh Bachchan thanked the audience and KBC for celebrating his birthday with pleasant surprise. He said, “Aur kitna rulayenge aap, ab bas kardo. Main sabh ko tissue deta hoon, aaj meri baari aa gayi (How much more will you make me cry? I used to give everyone tissue, now I need one).”

The actor added, “Iss manch meun humara joh janamdin manaya jata hai woh sabse uttam hai (My birthdays celebrated on this platform are the best).”

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next star in Ganapath – A Hero Was Born, Kalki 2898 AD, and Thalaivar 170 among others.
