Tiger 3 Box Office: Becomes 2nd biggest weekend/first three days’ opener in YRF spy universe
Yash Raj Films can well be assured that their spy universe will continue to grow and flourish. If the response so far to Tiger 3 is any indication, then War 2 is already on a solid footing and when Tiger vs Pathaan comes, then it would be on an altogether different level.
However, before that let’s talk about Tiger 3 first. The film has scored quite heavily in its first three days so far, even without a conventional weekend and in the process has gone past the weekend score of 2017 release Tiger Zinda Hai. It’s good to see the Tiger franchise growing and it also pretty much confirms that Tiger 4 would now be in the making as well.
The film which still occupies the top slot is Pathaan and to think of it, when it comes to the Pathaan franchise, then it’s the first one in the list. Hence, from debut perspective it has already done well enough, though one can’t deny the fact that Salman Khan’s contribution as Tiger pushed forward its case by a huge distance, just like Shah Rukh Khan’s entry in Tiger 3 did for the Salman Khan. In that sense, War was pretty much a standalone film as it was not just the first in the War franchise but also came sans any support from the ‘spy universe’.
This is how the weekend/first three days’ numbers of the spy universe offerings from YRF look like:
Pathaan – Rs. 166.75 crores
Tiger 3 – Rs. 143.75 crores*
Tiger Zinda Hai – Rs. 114.93 crores
War – Rs. 100.15 crores
Ek Tha Tiger – Rs. 60.42 crores
The next release in this universe is set to be War 2 and the target that the Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR starrer will have in mind is Rs. 200 crores. One now waits to see if it happens indeed!

It was a massive Monday at the box office as Tiger 3 went on an overdrive. It was always on the cards that Monday number will take a huge lead over Sunday since this was actually the post Diwali day when audiences come in full force. However, when Sunday itself saw excellent footfalls, it was a given that Monday would be unstoppable with collections very comfortably going past not just the Rs. 50 crores but even come close to the 60s.
This is what that happened as Rs. 60 crores* more came in, which is simply a massive number. Tiger 3 has been released at a huge count of screens which means that even if doesn’t register full house everywhere and instead runs at 50%-60%-70% capacity then also the overall collections would turn out to be very huge. Audiences were heading for theatres in a major way on Monday, especially in afternoon and evening shows, and resulting in such kind of massive moolah at the box office.
The Salman Khan starrer has now also entered the Rs. 100 Crore Club in style as it has taken just two days to reach here. The only other films which have managed to do that are Pathaan, Jawan and KGF: Chapter 2 [Hindi], which goes on to show how much further ahead can Tiger 3 eventually go if the momentum continues in the same way. Currently standing at Rs. 104.50 crores*, the film should go past Rs. 150 crores milestone today and then it would be time to make a call for that quick-fire entry into the Rs. 200 Crore Club as well.

Even though Diwali celebrations are finished, images of B-town celebs dressed in traditional attire are still doing the rounds online. Bhumi Pednekar showed us how to rock the traditional look by sharing a few pictures from actor-director Krishan Kumar’s Diwali celebration. The beauty, dressed in a stunning golden saree, exuded brightness. Detailed mirror work adorned with sequins and crystals added to her outfit’s metallic look. A gorgeous shimmer was added to the six-yard wonder by the floral embroidery that ran along the borders. Her OOTD’s appeal was mitigated by a beaded V-neck blouse in the same tone. Bhumi’s golden princess avatar was enhanced by a red-crystal and stone-studded kundan necklace, dangling earrings, and piled bangles. She added mascara, winged eyeliner, blush, and enough highlighter to her skin before finishing with dazzling golden eyeshadow. She wore a gajra with her hair pulled back in a tight bun.
Meanwhile, Bhumi Pednekar was recently seen in The Lady Killer alongside Arjun Kapoor. She will be seen next in four films this year including Bhakshak, and Meri Patni Ka Remake.

Raveena Tandon too is one of them, who attended the bash with her daughter and the soon-to-be debutant actress Rasha.
Raveena Tandon took to Instagram to share photos from different bashes which she attended recently and posted selfies with many of her colleagues and co-stars. In the first set of photos, Raveena gave a glimpse of Diwali celebrations at her home, where she posted pics of Laxmi Pujan, a friendly photo with her neighbour and along with all of that, she also shared photos with her industry colleagues like one with Sushmita Sen and one with a whole group which also included her favourite co-star Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja. She posted it with a caption that read, “And the celebrations continue…. On the work front, Raveena Tandon received a lot of love for her work in 2022 which included KGF Chapter 2 and web-series Aranyak. The actress will soon be seen in Welcome To The Jungle where she will be reuniting with Akshay Kumar after almost a decade, and it will be featuring an ensemble cast of 24 actors. On the other hand, her daughter Rasha is expected to make her big debut alongside Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman Devgan in a Abhishek Kapur directorial.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a Hindu festival celebrated with great enthusiasm. The festivities began on Friday, November 10 with Dhanteras and celebrities have been sharing their family moments on social media. On the day of Laxmi Puja on Sunday, Kareena shared a series of family pictures.
Taking to Instagram, Kareena posted a bunch of family photos with Saif Ali Khan where the parents struggled to click family members with their two sons Taimur and Jeh. While Taimur would pose for the photos, Jeh was seen running around the house. The actress wore a fuschia salwar suit for the occasion whereas the actor wore a white kurta and dhoti.
Sharing the photos, Kareena captioned the post, “Year after year and still trying to get the perfect family picture… But nonetheless… Happy Diwali lovely people… from our heart to yours.”

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan recently had the premiere of her movie The Buckingham Murders. The film is yet to receive a release date. She has The Crew with Tabu, Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan has Devara with Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
