Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son AbRam’s performance at Dhirubhai Ambani International School’s annual day event has become the talk of the town. For the unversed, during his skit, AbRam struck Shah Rukh’s signature open-arms pose. The event was held on Friday in Mumbai.

The video of the same has gone viral on the internet. AbRam Khan is seen in a Medieval-inspired outfit. When he told his fellow performers, “Give me a hug, I love hugs,” and struck the iconic Shah Rukh pose, the tune of ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Jayenge’ played in the background. Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that Shah Rukh along with Gauri and daughter Suhana attended the event,

An Instagram user called him “Next Baadshah” while another commented, “AbRam looks exactly like SRK.”

Coming to the professional front, the 57-year-old actor is currently awaiting the release of Dunki. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, it is slated to release on December 21. Along with Khan, the forthcoming flick also stars Taapsee Pannu. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing an important role in the film. Notably, it will be clashing with Prabhas’ Salaar, which is scheduled to release on December 22. Shah Rukh and Prabhas will be clashing for the second time.

Team of Sunny Singh starrer Risky Romeo wraps shoot after one and a half months in Kolkata

Team of actor Sunny Singh’s upcoming neo-noir comic tragedy Risky Romeo wrapped its filming after a marathon shoot of one and a half months in Kolkata, the makers announced on Saturday December 15.

The film is written and directed by Abir Sengupta, who had previously directed Kiara Advani starrer Indoo Ki Jawani and produced Radhika Apte starrer Mrs. Undercover. Risky Romeo, also co-starring Kriti Kharbanda, was announced earlier this year

Actor Sunny Singh said he feels “extremely fulfilled” wrapping up the shoot and credited Risky Romeo for offering him a character that had never come his way before.

Sunny said in a statement, “I usually do not get offered characters like this and only when I started shooting I realised what Abir had seen in me and offered me such a different character. The genre of this film is completely unexplored in our industry and it’s a bold step towards showcasing emotions in a very different way. And the city that Abir has chosen to film Risky Romeo is adding to the magic of the story. I cannot wait for the audiences to experience what we experienced while shooting the film.”

Writer-director Abir Sengupta said the sets of Risky Romeo had a “totally different vibe” thanks to its subject and the treatment. The filmmaker also revealed that the actors in the film will feature in a look which the audience has “never seen before.”

Said Abir, “That is also something I am extremely excited to present to the audiences. I love the way Sunny and Kriti have responded to the kind of treatment I have given to the film and that is really adding up to the madness. While we wrapped the shoot of our film, me and my whole team missed Kriti on the sets as she wrapped her shoot a few days ago. We had a one and half month long shooting schedule in Kolkata where we all became a part of one family working towards a common goal called Risky Romeo.”

Producers Anushree Mehta (Jaadugar Films), Priyanka Mehrotra and Rameshchadra Yadav (PR Motion Pictures) said in a joint statement that while the team was prepping for the shoot, they were anticipating something strikingly different and once the camera started rolling in Kolkata, even they were in for a treat.

“Sunny and Kriti are totally in sync with Abir. He has given the film a very different treatment and we are returning from the shoot as happy producers with some amazing footage in hand. We cannot wait for the audiences to experience and madness and magic that we have created,” they said.

Deepika Padukone and her sister Anisha offer prayers at Tirumala temple, video goes viral

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone and her sister, professional golfer Anisha Padukone, were seen at Tirumala Temple on Friday morning to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara. The video of the two of them arriving at the temple has gone viral on social media.

For her visit, Deepika Padukone was wearing a black hoodie and pants and kept her hair tied in a bun. Anisha was wearing an orange hoodie and black leggings as they were accompanied by Deepika’s team.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will next star in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan. The film is set for theatrical release on January 25 next year. It also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi and Sanjeeda Sheikh.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone also has a special appearance in Singham Again; her next is with Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD.

Janhvi Kapoor decided to ‘detach’ herself from Sridevi during Dhadak shoot: “I used to feel I had an unfair advantage, a trump card”

Janhvi Kapoor is the daughter of the late legendary actress, Sridevi recently attended a conclave where she was seen in a beautiful black shimmer saree. In the same event, during an emotional moment, Janhvi opened up about her mother. With a career that left an indelible mark on the Indian film industry, Sridevi continues to be an inspiration and driving force in Jahnvi’s life.

At AajTak Agenda, Janhvi Kapoor said, “Mom had only told me that my first film and performance won’t be compared to her first film, it’ll be compared to her last film and she said to me, ‘This kind of pressure I wouldn’t even want my enemy to have.’ My sister and I would initially stress a lot, and would get very nervous, overworked with the baggage,” shared Janhvi. But then she took the comparisons in her stride. But then I began to understand I’m being compared to mumma, so that’s the standard! I think that’s what started motivating me.”

Janhvi added, “When I started working on my first film, I was so conscious that I wanted to be completely detached from her because people anyway used to think that I got my first film because I am Sridevi Kapoor’s daughter. I don’t know what different trip I went on, that I will not take any help from my mother. I will act completely differently from my mom’s style of acting. I used to tell her not to come on sets. I used to feel I had an unfair advantage, a trump card. But now I feel I was foolish at that time. Main hoon unki beti, iss sacchai se main bhag nahi sakti (I am her daughter and nothing can change that truth). Now that she is not here, this is my biggest regret.”

Sridevi passed away tragically in accidental death a few months before Janhvi Kapoor’s Bollywood debut Dhadak.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, Ulajh and the much-awaited Jr. NTR starrer action entertainer Devara Part 1, which is releasing in cinemas on April 5th, 2024.

Shreyas Talpade suffers heart attack after Welcome To The Jungle shoot, undergoes angioplasty: Report

In a shocking piece of news, actor Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack today evening. As per a report in Hindustan Times, the actor was shooting for the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle and was fine throughout the shoot. However, the 47-year-old actor started feeling uneasy after he returned home from the shoot and was taken to the Bellevue Hospital. The report also said that he underwent angioplasty after being brought to the hospital.

A source told the publication, “He shot through the day, was absolutely fine and joking around with everyone on the set. He even shot sequences that had a bit of action. After finishing the shoot, he went back home and told his wife that he was feeling uneasy. She rushed him to the hospital but he collapsed on the way.” The publication quoted a staff member from the hospital saying, “Shreyas Talpade is admitted. He was brought late in the evening. His health update is awaited.”

An official update regarding Shreyas’ health is awaited.
