Tinu Anand recalls Prabhas’ gesture during Salaar’s shoot: “He walked across and suddenly he embraced me…”

Prashanth Neel’s Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently running in theatres and has also arrived on Netflix in multiple languages. While the teaser featured veteran actor Tinu Anand introducing Salaar, he has a different perception about working in Bollywood and Southern movies. The teaser of Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire captured glimpses of Tinu Anand introducing Salaar and that’s when the audience got to understand the real thrill they are going to witness on the screens.

Recently during an interview, the actor Tinu Anand was asked to share his experience of working in Bollywood and Southern movies, and while replying on the same, he said, “There’s only one shot of Prabhas, in the entire teaser. Rest, it’s me, talking about a character. Prithviraj was there, his wife was there, Prabhas was there, Prashanth was showing it on his laptop, and all of us just set down around his laptop and we saw the teaser. The first thing Prabhas did was, Prabhas walked across and suddenly he embraced me. ‘Tinu sir, too good sir, too good!’ You know, that gives you a lot of confidence. It gives you a lot of respect for the other person who’s praising you in front of everybody, though he had only one shot in it. Then Prithviraj’s wife turned around Prashanth and said ‘Release this immediately, it’s so good!’ So all of them congratulated me and That is one thing which I, somehow is a warm feeling which I get over there, which is missing here in Bollywood.”

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, and Shruti Haasan and is directed by Prashanth Neel.

Bollywood celebrities began to leave for Ayodhya on January 22 morning to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla. Several biggies were seen at Mumbai’s private airport in the wee hours. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were seen together in traditional wear early in the morning. Rohit Shetty joined them. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were seen leaving the airport; Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were seen arriving together in traditional avatars. Ayushmann Khurana was dressed in all white as he headed to the airport. Madhuri Dixit – Dr Sriram Nene were also seen leaving for Ayodhya. A day prior, Sonu Nigam, South superstars Rajinikanth and Dhanush, Bhushan Kumar, and Randeep Hooda were seen leaving for Ayodhya.

BREAKING: CBFC censors ‘sexually suggested visuals’ in Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter

The first big release of the year, Fighter, is all set to release this week and the excitement is tremendous. The advance booking opened on Friday night and the ticket sales till now have been encouraging. Meanwhile, the censor process of the Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone starrer was completed on time before release. Bollywood Hungama, in this exclusive article, brings to you the list of cuts faced by this aerial action thriller.

As per the cut list, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) asked for four modifications in the film. Firstly, the anti-smoking static message was asked to be mentioned in Hindi. Secondly, an abusive word was muted or replaced in two dialogues, one at 53 minutes and the other at 1 hour and 18 minutes. Thirdly, ‘sexually suggested visuals’ were removed. These 8 seconds of visuals were probably replaced by ‘suitable shots’. Lastly, 25 seconds of the audio in a TV news visual scene was removed and replaced with 23 seconds of audio.

After these changes were carried out, a U/A certificate was granted to the makers of Fighter on Friday, January 19. The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate, is 166 minutes. In other words, the run time of Fighter is 2 hours and 46 minutes. Fighter releases in cinemas worldwide on January 25.

Interestingly, this is the second consecutive film of actor Deepika Padukone and director Siddharth Anand which faced cuts from the CBFC over hot scenes. Their last film together, Pathaan, was passed by the CBFC only after the close-up shot of buttocks, ‘side pose (partial nudity)’ shots and visuals of sensuous dance movements during the lyrics ‘Bahut tang kiya’ in the song ‘Besharam Rang’ were removed or curtailed and replaced with ‘suitable shots’. Even then, Bollywood Hungama was the first one to break the story and it was one of the biggest viral news of the year 2023.

Alia Bhatt gets felicitated at the Joy Awards in Riyadh; says, “I am obsessed with movies’ in her acceptance speech

Alia Bhatt, who has already added several feathers to her cap, was recently honored for her work in Indian Cinema in an awards event in Saudi Arabia, which was also attended by film talents and artists across the globe. Known as the Joy Awards, the actress was presented with the Honorary Entertainment Makers Award at the event held in Riyadh, followed by which she also gave a heartfelt speech, wherein she not only thanked the dignitaries and expressed gratitude over the win but also opened up about her love for cinema.

Alia Bhatt attended the event in an embroidered red and blue saree and a matching cape with a long trail. She retained the ethnic touch with her half-tied hair and golden traditional danglers that added to her elegant look. When she was invited on stage to accept the award, the actress started her acceptance speech by thanking the dignitaries and their initiative towards bringing global talents from cinema together as she said, “It’s a privilege to be here in this nation, the nation that is currently doing so much to unite us all and bring us all under one roof in the name of cinema. It doesn’t happen very often where countless talents from the West, and East come together under one roof and celebrate each other. So thank you for making this happen.”

Rashmika Mandanna expresses gratitude towards Delhi Police after they arrest the deepfake case accused

In November 2023, Rashmika Mandanna, who was one of the first victims of deepfake video, had taken to social media to express her shock and requested the authorities to take proper action against such cyber-crimes. The police officials, who were investigating the matter, after an FIR was lodged against the perpetuator under multiple charges of forgery, identity theft, etc., they finally made an arrest on January 20.

Just a day ago, we had reported that the Delhi Police had arrested the accused man from Andhra Pradesh. Owing to the same, Rashmika Mandanna took to social media to express her gratitude towards the officials in a heartfelt note. She posted it on her Instagram story and it read, “Expressing my heartfelt gratitude to @delhi.police_official (folded hands emoji) Thank you for apprehending those responsible. Feeling truly grateful for the community that embraces me with love, support, and shields me (indian flag).”

Readers would be aware that the actress’ response on social media had sparked a debate about stringent actions being taken against cyber-crimes. In fact, many of her co-actors and industry friends had come in support of Mandanna and had asserted the need to impose better guidelines in such cases. In her post, the Animal actress also urged other people to take action if they are a victim of such cyber-crimes as she added, “Girls and boys – if your image is used or morphed anywhere without your consent. It is wrong! And I hope this is a reminder that you are surrounded by people who will support you and action will be taken! (white heart emoji)”.

For the unversed, about two months ago, a video featuring Rashmika Mandanna entering a lift in a black low-cut top was doing the rounds on social media wherein it was later revealed that the video belonged to an Indian-British influencer Zara Patel.
