The much-anticipated Celebrity Cricket League season 10 kicked off in grand style with Salman Khan stealing the spotlight at the inaugural match between Mumbai Heroes and Kerala Strikers. A galaxy of A-list celebrities, featuring stars like Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, and Sohail Khan, infused an additional dose of glamour.

In a video shared by Salman on his Instagram, he was seen arriving at CCL, in conversation with his mother Salma Khan. She kissed him. The actor was also chatting with his nephew and niece, Ahil and Ayat. The latter was feeding him fries in the video.

In a conversation with the match host, Salman said, “I am glad that CCL continued for so many years. We had no idea that it would turn out like that when we did the first season. Back then the Mumbai team used to take it more as a fun activity but since the beginning south industry has always been more competitive. I think that also motivated the other teams to raise their level and perform better. I see all these boys working so hard, not just Mumbai Heroes but also other teams, and that makes me so proud of the film fraternity.”

When asked about how much he follows the game at home, Salman commented, “ For us, it is as exciting as IPL. Everyone at my home, especially my dad, watches it very seriously.”

Shah Rukh Khan and Australian cricketer Meg Lanning recreate SRK’s trademark arm pose at Women’s Premier League rehearsals, watch

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to host and perform at the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024. The star-studded event, which is set to take place at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on 23rd February, will see the first match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. For the same, the teams were practising at the stadium when they received a visit from SRK. As the superstar was rehearsing for his performance, he also interacted with the cricketers.

In a video posted by WPL’s official X, formerly Twitter, handle, Shah Rukh was seen meeting several cricketers, including MI skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, DC vice-captain Jemimah Rodrigues and DC skipper, Australian cricketer Meg Lanning. With Meg, he recreated his iconic arm pose which went viral on social media. For unversed, Meg happens to be a multi-time World Cup-winning Australian skipper.

He even recreated his pose with Harmanpreet Kaur and even gave her blessings for the match. The tournament will conclude on March 17 and is set to be held in Bengaluru and Delhi.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is yet to announce his next project but speculations are that he is working with Sujoy Ghosh for Red Chillies Entertainment’s next King, starring alongside Suhana Khan.

This special event, organized and hosted by Trisha Sakhlecha, Director of the Tagore Centre, coincided with Bajpayee’s presence in Berlin for the premiere of his latest film, The Fable, in the competitive Encounters section at the ongoing 74th Berlin Film Festival.

This event is not merely a milestone; it’s a historic acknowledgement, marking only the second Indian film in three decades to compete at the Berlinale. It has quickly garnered acclaim from critics and admiration from audiences worldwide, highlighting Bajpayee’s extraordinary talent and Reddy’s exceptional storytelling prowess.

The event was graced by the presence of several ambassadors from other countries, including H.E. Mr. Parvathaneni Harish, Ambassador of India to Germany, along with several government dignitaries.

The session commenced with opening remarks by the Indian ambassador, followed by an introduction and conversation initiated by acclaimed author & Director, Tagore Centre, Ms. Trisha Sakhlecha with the legendary Manoj Bajpayee. Another Bollywood pair has tied the knot. Bollywood stars Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani married following an intimate two-day celebration. The actress and the producer’s rituals occurred on February 21 in Goa. Their wedding festivities kicked off earlier this week in the presence of the family and close friends. Following their sunset wedding on Wednesday, the newlyweds unveiled the first photos from their wedding and even posed for the paparazzi.

Dressed in Tarun Tahiliani custom outfits, Jackyy and Rakul walked hand-in-hand as they posed after their wedding. Jackky made a playful remark, as he asked the paps, “Aaj toh ma’am nahi bologe na? (You won’t call her ‘ma’am’ today, right?)” as they began addressing her as Bhabhi ji which made Rakul blush.

They had two ceremonies, Anand Karaj and Sindhi wedding. The event took place in the presence of several celebrities including Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal, Ananya Panday, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, among others.
