The actor says that the stardom that Dilip Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have enjoyed is so different from today’s times. He also said that the last time he could connect with someone was Hrithik Roshan.
Speaking to GQ India, he said, “I’ll tell you very frankly: Stardom is defined by the number of people who come to watch your film on day one, in a theatre—without being dependent on how good the trailer was, how fantastic the songs were, or how cool the poster was. They come to watch you. Irrespective of everything else. That’s the true definition of stardom. And honestly, that hasn’t happened to me yet. I still need to achieve that. I am not there yet.”
The actor continued, “I think the idea of classic stardom will be replaced by a different version. The kind of popularity that Dilip Kumar, Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan must have seen is as different from what Shah Rukh Khan has experienced. It’s still huge but a different manifestation of the same glory. The last person I felt this way about was Hrithik Roshan. It was a phenomenon that hit everybody. Right now, there’s confusion among the younger lot. Because we see a star every week who trends and then nobody remembers them a few weeks later. For this generation, it will be much harder to attain the stardom of the past.”
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal will next star in Chhava with Rashmika Mandanna, Love & War with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor and Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam with Triptii Dimri.

The actors filmed four songs in Jordan, one with Sonakshi Sinha’s special appearance. The makers recently unveiled the movie’s title track on February 19, 2024. They kicked off the film’s promotions in Lucknow with live-action stunts. However, the event took a turn when the cops had to resort to lathi charge to control the crowd.
In viral videos, UP Police has to resort to lathi charge when the crowd became unruly. They were allegedly throwing chappals and a stampede almost broke out. Though Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff were at a safe distance from the mob, the videos from the event have gone viral that the crowd became unruly after the stars threw merchandise at them.

“Fans made a scramble to catch the items that were thrown towards them, which broke the barricades that were supposed to hold them back,” said Anand Krishna, representative of the PR company which organised the event, as per News18. “The actors left the show midway much before the scheduled time,” a person involved in the event said.
Shot across stunning locations including Mumbai, London, Abu Dhabi, Scotland, and Jordan, the film features Prithviraj Sukumaran in an intriguing villainous role.
Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment present Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in association with AAZ films. Written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar. It will be released on Eid 2024 in April.
