Anushka Sharma cracks up the internet by sharing pictures from Bangkok traffic

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma recently travelled to Thailand and shared her pictures from trip with her Instagram followers. She keeps her Insta fam updated by sharing pictures from her personal as well as professional life. The actress posted pictures from the traffic of Bangkok. Her this post has cracked up the internet.

Anushka took to Instagram and shared pictures from her work trip. She is seen taking selfies while sporting a beige top. In the photos, she can be seen walking across a footbridge and several cars in the background. Sharing the picture, she captioned, “Didn’t do much on this short work trip to Bangkok so here’s my selfies with one of the most talked about things in Bangkok – Traffic!”

As soon as she dropped the pictures, fans couldn’t control but laugh at the fact. Reacting to the picture, a fan commented, “Haha only you could make selfies in traffic look this good,” while another user wrote, “Andheri East has similar traffic.” A comment read, “You look the prettiest,” “Queen of Bollywood,” read another comment.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma is now gearing up for the release of Chakda Xpress. The film will see her play the lead role of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. It will release on Netflix in 2023. Backed by her brother, Karnesh Sharma’s production house Clean Slate Filmz, the film also stars Tripti Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee and Babil Khan.

SCOOP: Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’s makers contemplating preponing the release of the Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor starrer by a day

The much-awaited romcom, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, is less than two weeks away from its release and there’s considerable excitement among the audiences. The trailer and songs of this Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor starrer have worked well and trade expects Luv Ranjan’s directorial to have a huge opening at the box office. And if sources are to be believed, the makers are thinking of releasing it sooner than expected.

A source said, “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is scheduled to release on Wednesday, March 8. But the producers are toying with the idea of preponing it and releasing it a day earlier, on Tuesday, March 7.”

The source continued, “The second day of Holi falls on March 7. There has been confusion over this aspect. In many places, the Holi holiday will be on March 7. To take advantage of it, the makers felt that it was wise to come on March 7 since that’s when it’ll get maximum footfalls.”

The source, however, also added, “A decision will be taken in a few days. If Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar gets ready in time, it’ll be out on Tuesday, March 7. Or else, it’ll arrive in cinemas on March 8, as scheduled.”

If Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar releases on March 7, it will enjoy an extended six-day weekend, which is very unusual as filmmakers prefer releasing the day on Thursday or at the most on Wednesday, if not on Friday, to take advantage of a festive holiday. Last year, the Diwali releases – Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setu and Ajay Devgn-Sidharth Malhotra-Rakul Preet Singh starrer Thank God – also got a release on Tuesday, October 25, as that was the day of the post-Diwali holiday. More than 10 years ago, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ajay Devgn-starrer Son Of Sardaar, the 2012 Diwali releases, also released on the big screen on a Tuesday.

Javed Akhtar reacts to his comment on 26/11 attacks; says, “It became too big, it feels embarrassing”

Javed Akhtar recently went to a festival in Lahore to honour the author Faiz Ahmed Faiz, where he learned that Indians believe all Pakistanis to be terrorists. In a sharp response, Javed stated that the terrorists of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks continue to roam freely in Pakistan. Since then, he has been at the centre of the debate; while Indian celebrities and politicians are applauding him for the statement, Pakistani celebrities like Ali Zafar have criticised him.

Javed reiterated his remarks from the event while speaking at an ABP event. He said, “It became too big, it feels embarrassing, feel like I should not go (for such events). Yaha aya to laga pata nahi third World War jeet ke aya hoon. The people and the media have so many reactions. I was embarrrased aisa kya keh diya? Itni baat to kehni padegi, chup rahein kya?”

He further added, “I got to know that people are abusing me there. They are asking, ‘Why was he given visa?’ Is tarah ki baatein, jo thodisi sensitive aur controversial ho… jis mulk mein paida hue, jisme rehte hain aur jisme marenge waha karte rehte hai toh do din wahaa gaye the, wahaan kya darna? Jab yaha nahi darte toh wahaan kya darenge?”

He was questioned about how he mustered the confidence to say these things in front of a Pakistani audience. He replied, “I’m sure the youth of Pakistan will embrace you with open arms. I’ll tell you one thing — No country is a monolith. What happens is that we start believing that the policies of their government and establishment is what the country is about. But that’s not true.”

He further added, “The fact is that it is very unfortunate that we are unaware that there is a huge segment in Pakistan that wants to have a good relation with India and that is totally understandable, not because they are saints, but because they are seeing a country next door jahaan itna development hai, itni industries hai, jahaan par corportate world itna develop kar gaya, jahaan culture itna hai, jahaan music aur films itni peak pe hai. So, an average citizen of that country would obviously be curious and would want to come here and see and if given an opportunity of a job or a presentation, he’ll run to do it and it totally understandable.”

The Faiz Festival was a three-day event, which commenced on February 17 and ended on February 19.

Javed believed that it was unfair to expect Indians to disregard the fact that the attackers were living freely in Pakistan after having witnessed the horrors of the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai.

EXCLUSIVE: Deepak Tijori shares his views on Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan; says, “They are meticulous actors whereas I am a spontaneous guy”

Actor-director Deepak Tijori gave stellar performances in the blockbuster film Aashiqui. The actor has also worked with top Bollywood actors like Shah Rukh Khan in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and Aamir Khan in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. In a recent interview when Deepak shared his views on the superstars Shah Rukh and Aamir.

In an exclusive video interview with Bollywood Hungama, when Deepak was asked who was a better co-star between Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan is, he said, “Actually both were the same because you know both had this unique quality. I had experiences with both of them in regards to similar ways. They are meticulous actors whereas I am a spontaneous guy, so I don’t believe in lot of rehearsals and same I had with Shah (Shah Rukh Khan) and I had with Aamir (Aamir Khan).”

To explain his point, he cited an example from the time when he had shot with Shah Rukh Khan for the film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. He said, “(Shah Rukh told Deepak) Deepak let’s do the reading once again or let’s do the scene again. So, I was like boss I’ll do the reading, you do the scene. So, I will just go for the take.”

Explaining the kinds of actors Shah Rukh and Aamir were, he said, “There are two kinds of actors. There are actors who get better and better with every take because it is like performing and getting it better; crafting the whole thing and getting it better. So, Aamir and Shah, both are very good in those things.”

On the work front, Tijori received fame after Mahesh Bhatt casted him in Aashiqui in 1990. He had produced the 1993 murder mystery Pehla Nasha, which was directed by Gowariker. The movie struggled at the box office after receiving negative reviews upon release. Deepak has contributed to a number of movies, including Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. His will soon feature in Tipppsy and Ittar.

As for Shah Rukh Khan, he was recently seen in the blockbuster film Pathaan starring alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He will be next seen in Jawan and Dunki this year.

Aamir Khan last appeared in Laal Singh Chaddha and had revealed during an event that he plans on taking a break for a year.

Kangana Ranaut takes a dig at Karan Johar

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines everyday be it for Javed Akhtar or nepotism. Recently the actress made news for taking a dig at Karan Johar for his film Selfiee. On the day when Selfiee was released, actress Kangana Ranaut criticised the movie on her Instagram page. Featuring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi in the lead, the film is directed by Raj Mehta.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Kangana wrote, “Karan Johar movie Selfie has hardly made 10 lakhs on the first day I don’t see even one trade or media person talk about it forget mocking or bullying him the way they harass me…”

She then posted a screenshot of a news article comparing Akshay Kumar to Kangana Ranaut as the actor delivered back-to-back films that failed to perform well at the box office. “I was looking for news about selfie flop I found all the news is about me…yeh bhi meri hi galti hai.” She also added, “Wah bhai Karan johar wah.”

The actress, though, didn’t end there. She posted other news stories in which she called the movie Selfiee a flop and added that Karan Johar was not being blamed for the failure of the movie; rather, Akshay Kumar and she were.

She posted a final note that read, “Web is full of hundreds of article where selfie failure is blamed on me and Akshay sir no mention of Karan Johar name at all, this is how mafia manipulates news and build perception that suits their narrative.”

Talking about the film Selfiee, bankrolled by Dharma Productions and Star Studios, it is directed by Raj Mehta. Selfiee also features Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty and Nushratt Bharuccha in the lead roles. The film is an official remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Driving Licence. The film released in theatres on February 24, 2023.

Parineeti Chopra reveals her relationship status; says, “Right now, there is no one in my life”

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is currently single and is open for recommendations. As Bollywood has witnessed great marriages in recent times from Sid-Kiara to KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty, Parineeti is also up for marriage only after she finds herself a perfect match.

When Parineeti was asked about her personal and professional life, she told Hindustan Times, “All you have to do is find me a boy then my personal life will be sorted. If you have any recommendations, I am listening.”

She further added, “In terms of my personal life, I would love to get married and I would love to have children in my life. That is also important. I want to have a great balanced career which is full of highs and lows. I welcome both equally. I want to be healthy, I want to be happy with my family and my friends.”

Speculating on whether viewing images from the most recent Bollywood wedding increased her desire for marriage for herself, she said, “They are all my friends and I am so happy to see them take this leap. Because many of them have been in love for so long. They have been together for so many years. So, of course marriage is the next step. The day I find my person and I fall in love with my person, I will want to marry him.”

Further when the actress was asked if she was not dating anyone at the moment, she replied, “Right now, there is no one in my life. I haven’t found my special one yet.”

Parineeti also spoke about meeting Maltie Marie Jonas, her niece. She said, “I have met my cute little niece. She’s the loveliest little thing and a blessing. She is the first baby in the Chopra family, and so lovely.”

The actor recalled the day Maltie made her public debut and said, “She was looking so cute that day. She is a beautiful miracle baby of our family.”

Talking about her work commitments, Parineeti Chopra has two biopics in the pipeline, Capsule Gill with Akshay Kumar as well as Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila alongside Diljit Dosanjh.
