All three stars have completed 11 years in the industry, married and have come a long way since their debut. In the episode, Alia made a special appearance through a video where she talked about her special connection with Sidharth, whom she dated in the early years of her career. Turns out, her cat Edward was gifted to her by Sidharth.
Alia Bhatt sent a special message to her SOTY co-stars and said, “We made our debut together on the Koffee With Karan couch. An unforgettable debut because of my unforgettable mistake. But I had to be a part of this episode in some way. I’m glad that Koffee has asked me to give this byte because otherwise, I would have felt major FOMO.”
When asked about three facts about Sidharth, she added that he is a good singer, and even though he doesn’t like to party, he can be the best person to start a party with. She said, “Three facts about Sid that I would like to share – number 1, he’s actually a really good singer. Number 2 is Sid doesn’t party at all but he is one of the best people to get a party started. So this is the inherent Punjabi in him. He just knows how to get people going, he’s really good. Also, he is really hilarious, he is the first person to fall asleep at his own birthday party. Sid takes a while to open up, so there is a distance, says hi, hello, very chivalrous, very well-mannered, that’s generally how he is. The basic thing is that he has got very warm and kind eyes. That is also why he has such a massive fan following.”
She concluded by saying Sidharth gave her the “first love of her life” which is her cat Edward. She said, “I am very thankful to Sid because he has given me my first love of my life, Edward.”
The fifth episode of Koffee With Karan 8 is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

The actor plays the villain in the movie. When asked recently if there was any kind of insecurity about getting lost in a big movie which also had cameos of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, Hashmi said that he was never “insecure of not getting my place in the sun”.
Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Emraan said, “There was never a time when I felt insecure of not getting my place in the sun. Aditya Chopra told me that we will reveal you at a time when it’s right.”
He did want to say no to the project as it is Salman Khan’s franchise but all his doubts were cleared when the script was narrated to him. “When I was told that I am being considered for the antagonist in Tiger, there was a fleeting thought that [said] no. Because it’s Salman and it’s Tiger and it’s his brand. But that was only for a fraction of a second. When Maneesh narrated the script and told me about Aatish, I was like this guy is so interesting,” he shared.
He added that Aatish’s backstory was intriguing. He said, “He’s not ruthless and evil for the sake of it.” The actor further said, “I knew when I heard the character arc that this is an interesting guy. Even though it’s Tiger’s story, Aatish’s motivations make a big impact.”
Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 was released this Diwali, Sunday, November 12 in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.
