Early reports suggest the film will showcase not only Sambhaji Maharaj’s bravery and strategic brilliance on the battlefield but also explore the emotional aspects of his life, particularly his love story.

However, the recent leak of Kaushal’s first look from the film has sent social media into a frenzy. The image showcases Kaushal sporting a regal look, complete with a long beard, traditional attire, and a determined expression.

While details about Rashmika Mandanna’s character, Sambhaji Maharaj’s wife, remain under wraps, the pairing of Kaushal and Mandanna is a fresh addition to Bollywood.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhava is set for a December 6, 2024 release.

Amitabh Bachchan purchases 10,000 sq. ft. land in Alibaug for Rs. 10 crores

Amitabh Bachchan has made a significant investment in real estate by purchasing a 10,000 square foot plot of land in Alibaug, Maharashtra, near Mumbai. This acquisition took place in the A Alibaug project, a sprawling 20-acre plotted development launched in April last year. The transaction, reportedly valued at Rs. 10 crore, was completed with The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) and as per sources, it was officially registered just last week.

Although there has been no official statement issued from The House of Abhinadan Lodha or from Amitabh Bachchan, sources have reportedly confirmed the details to the media. This is not the first time where Amitabh has been investing with the builders. In the past, the legendary actor also made a similar investment with the HoABL brand in their ‘The Sarayu’ project in Ayodhya. Big B is expected to have made a sizeable investment in this luxurious seven-star project which is currently under development in the picturesque city of Lord Ram.

As for Alibaug, the beachy town is known for its scenic beauty and proximity to Mumbai and has become a sought-after destination for both vacation homes and real estate investments. It seems to have caught the attention of many other celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, who also purchased a massive piece of farm-land worth Rs. 9.5 crores along with his daughter Suhana Khan in February 2024.

On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan too boasts of extensive investments within the city limits of Mumbai which includes three major bungalows in the plush area of suburban Mumbai – namely Pratiksha and Jalsa, wherein the former was reportedly gifted to Shweta Bachchan recently, and along with them, he also has Janak which is said to be used more as an office. Apart from them, the superstar is also expected to hold quite a bit of properties in Delhi and a few other locations.

Actor Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal celebrated their impending parenthood with a baby shower on Sunday, attended by close friends and family. Among the guests was Mira Rajput, wife of actor Shahid Kapoor, who shared a glimpse of the special occasion on social media.

Several pictures and a video from the event were posted on the Instagram handle of Varun’s fanclubs. The images captured Natasha looking radiant in a white floral off-shoulder dress, cradling her baby bump while Varun, donning a white T-shirt layered with a blue floral shirt, stood beside her. They were surrounded by their friends.

In one video, Varun and Natasha are seen cutting a beautifully customized cake, while their friends cheer them on with the song ‘Congratulations & Celebrations’ playing in the background. Varun’s mother, Laali Dhawan, can be seen grooving to the music, alongside filmmaker David Dhawan, who also joined the festivities.

Mira Rajput took to her Instagram stories to share a photo of the adorable cake, topped with a cute teddy bear wearing a pink bow and holding pink roses. The caption read, “Congratulations Nats & VD,” followed by a pink heart emoji.

As a gesture of gratitude, Varun and Natasha’s team distributed sweets to the paparazzi gathered outside their residence on Sunday.

Varun and Natasha tied the knot on January 24, 2021, in a private ceremony attended by a select few due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

On the professional front, Varun Dhawan is gearing up for his upcoming action thriller film Baby John, directed by A. Kaleeswaran. The film is presented by Atlee in association with Jio Studios and Cine1 Studios.

Pankaj Tripathi’s brother-in-law Rajesh dies in road accident, sister Sarita critically injured: Reports

Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi has suffered a devastating loss. On Saturday, April 20, his brother-in-law, Rajesh Tiwari, passed away in a car accident that critically injured Tripathi’s sister, Sarita Tiwari. The accident occurred near GT Road in Nirsa, Jharkhand, around 4 pm.

The couple, travelling from their hometown in Bihar to West Bengal, reportedly lost control of their car (WB44D-2899) and collided with a divider at high speed. The impact caused significant damage to the vehicle, with the front end sustaining extensive damage.

As per a report in Hindustan Times, with the help of local residents, police rushed both Rajesh and Sarita Tiwari to Dhanbad Medical College Hospital. Tragically, Rajesh Tiwari succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead by emergency room doctors. Sarita Tiwari, however, received emergency treatment and is currently in critical condition in the hospital’s surgical ICU.

Rajesh Tiwari, who worked for the Indian Railways and was stationed in Chittaranjan, West Bengal, was reportedly returning home from his village in Bihar when the accident occurred. This news comes as another blow to Tripathi, who lost his father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari, in August 2023 at the age of 99.

On the work front, Pankaj Tripathi was recently seen in the Netflix movie Murder Mubarak.

Industry insiders have revealed to Bollywood Hungama that there is a strong possibility of the film releasing on May 24, with June as an alternative but less likely option. The official announcement this Sunday is expected to confirm these speculations.

Ahead of the grand reveal on Sunday, the makers unveiled a new poster of Amitabh Bachchan. The poster portrays Bachchan as a sage-like figure, sitting in a seemingly cavernous setting bathed in sunlight. The megastar’s face is obscured by a thick beard and full face covered. The announcement will be made on April 21 at 7:15 pm on Star Sports India coinciding with Indian Premier League. “The time has come to know who he is! Exclusively on @StarSportsIndia at 7:15 PM on April 21st,” said the makers in a post on X.


A few days ago, Bollywood Hungama revealed that the theatrical rights of the sci-fi saga for North India have been sold to Anil Thadani for Rs. 100 crores, making it the second biggest after Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film is gearing up to release by the end of May.

Kalki 2898 AD is a multilingual project directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. The film garnered immense global attention after its debut at San Diego Comic-Con last year.
