PEN15 Stars Discuss Why the Series Ended After Two Seasons

Coming of age series Pen15 was a big hit on Hulu so there were many fans who were surprised when the series was cancelled after just two seasons. Although many of the show’s followers cited complications with COVID delaying filming as the main reason for the early end to the series, stars Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle explained that there was another reason for the show coming to an end, and it is seems more that there was never really a plan to continue after the second season, regardless of events going on in the world.
