Quantum Leap Reboot Pilot Finds Its Director in Station Eleven's Helen Shaver

Deadline reports that Helen Shaver, whose work as a director includes Station Eleven, Lovecraft Country, and Maid, has just been signed on to direct and executive produce a Quantum Leap reboot pilot for NBC. As of now, the show hasn't been given a full series order, and that will likely depend on how well the pilot is received internally once it's finished.
