Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a statement addressing the situation, telling her followers that she'd been randomly "struck" by a man hard enough to knock off her hat. Though she says she's "physically fine" after the incident, she still feels that she's "lucky" that the situation didn't get worse. Fukuhara hopes that telling the story will help raise awareness about these kinds of random attacks against women, Asians, and the elderly.
