Karan Johar pens a quirky birthday note for Varun Dhawan- “Paise lena kam acting karo zyaada”

Varun Dhawan turns a year older today and social media is flooded with wishes for the star. Varun made his acting debut in 2012 with the film Student Of The Year. The film directed by Karan Johar also marked the debut of Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. On Varun’s 35th birthday, Karan took to his Instagram handle to pen a rather quirky and rhyming birthday note.

Karan shared an old picture with Varun where he is seen giving his ‘student’ a kiss on the forehead. Sharing the picture, he wrote, “Chalo thodi publicity bhi ho jaye aur lage haath shubhkamna wala wish bhi de hi doon! Janmadin mubarak Varun aka Kuku! #jugjuggjeeyo

Reacting to the post, Varun wrote, “Karan” followed by three red heart emojis.

Farah Khan, whose fun banter with Karan on Insta is well known, commented, “Anu malik has strict competition!! happy birthday @varundvn”.

Meanwhile, Varun is having a working birthday in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur city. He is currently shooting for Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor and will be released on April 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, Varun is awaiting the release of JugJugg Jeeyo on June 24. The film also stars Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Kiara Advani. He also has Bhediya and the Indian version of Citadel in the pipeline.
