Brahmastra Box Office: Film surpasses The Kashmir Files, becomes the highest Bollywood grosser of 2022 at the North America box office

The much talked about and keenly anticipated release Brahmastra was released a little over a week ago. Directed by Ayan Mukerji starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt the film took off on a positive note in both the domestic and international markets alike. Hitting over 9000 screens worldwide Brahmastra which featured one of the widest releases for a Bollywood film ever, has exceeded predictions consistently.

In this box office report, we look at the collections of Brahmastra at the North America box office at the close of its second weekend running. Collecting a staggering USD 6,606,844 Brahmastra has managed to overshadow other Bollywood releases to emerge as the highest Bollywood grosser of 2022 at the North America box office. In fact, the business of the film after just its second-weekend running has eclipsed the collections of other releases like The Kashmir Files which collected USD 4,057,737, Laal Singh Chaddha which collected USD 3,400,683, and Gangubai Kathiawadi which collected USD 3,326,230.

Currently, Brahmastra continues to run in theatres and is set to see its business grow further. As per early trade predictions, the business of the film will hold steady over its second week running, posting even higher overall collection figures.
