BTS: Chitrangda Singh shoots for her Indo-Italian film along with legendary Italian actor Marco Leonardi
After wowing people with her role in Modern Love Mumbai, actress Chitrangda Singh is all set to play the lead role in Goutam Ghose’s next which is an Indo-Italian film. Reports have it that the actress will be seen alongside the legendary Italian actor Marco Leonardi. The film’s shooting started way back in 2019 but had a major setback due to the pandemic. The team has resumed work now and we recently got a sneak peek into the film in these behind-the scenes (BTS) photos of Singh as she kicked off her recent schedule.
A major portion of the shoot of this Indo-Italian film is expected to be in Mumbai and Jabalpur. And going by the latest BTS photos, it seems that Chitrangda Singh is all set to surprise the audience with a de-glam look. These photos feature her in a plain orange saree and minimalist make-up, giving it a realistic touch. According to reports, the Desi Boyz actress is playing a key role in the film but there has been no official confirmation from the makers. There is also a key character of a child and it’s still not finalized who will play the role.
The film’s script has been written by Goutam Ghose and Jagannath Guha, along with two Italian scriptwriters Amedeo Paganini and Sergio Scapagnini. It is being made in English, Hindi, and partly in Italian. The story revolves around issues of human displacement, through the story of a couple and their child.
