Amitabh Bachchan shares health update while expressing gratitude towards his fans; says, “Thank you for all the prayers and wishes”
Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan recently suffered an injury while in Hyderabad filming the upcoming Nag Ashwin movie, Project K. The accident took place while shooting an action sequence for the film. The actor flew back to Mumbai and is currently resting at his residence. Bachchan has been giving updates to his fans about his health regularly. He recently thanked his fans for all the prayers.
On Monday, Amitabh took to Instagram and shared a picture of himself along with expressing gratitude to his fans for praying for his recovery. In the picture, Amitabh can be seen walking on ramp in an ethnic attire. Sharing the photo, he wrote, “… thank you for all the prayers and wishes for my recovery .. I repair .. hope to be back on the ramp soon.”

Soon after he shared the post, fans and industry friends were quick to express their love and care in the comments section. Actor Rahul Dev commented, “Soo, so good to hear this news dear sir … love.” Reacting to the post, a fan wrote, “Get well soon!!! You’re active lifestyle even at this age should be an inspiration to our parents and grandparents,” another user commented, “Good to hear you are on the mend. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this critical time! I hope you recover complete soon. May Allah bless you with a healthy life!”
Project K is Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi film starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani. The film is simultaneously being shot in Hindi and Telugu.
Bachchan was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai last year, which also starred Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa and Parineeti Chopra. Apart from Project K, Bachchan will soon feature in Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84.
