Ram Charan reacts to being called Indian Brad Pitt by American hosts during RRR promotions

With the Oscars 2023 right around the corner, Ram Charan has been busy promoting his Telugu film RRR in LA. SS Rajamouli, Jr. NTR and Ram Charan will reportedly attend the award show in the US.  Ram Charan, who is currently in Los Angeles promoting RRR, recently made an appearance on KTLA Entertainment show, where the host asked him about the comparisons being made to Brad Pitt.

When the host said, “He has been referred to as the Brad Pitt of India, do you like that designation?” Charan laughed as he replied, “I mean I like Brad Pitt for sure.”

The Academy recently announced that singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava will perform the RRR song ‘Naatu Naatu’ at Oscars 2023. The viral song will be performed on March 12 at the 95th Academy Awards.

Meanwhile, the film will release in theatres as a part of a ‘Fan CelebRRRation’ “courtesy of Variance Films, Beyond Fest, American Cinematheque, Potentate, and Sarigama Cinemas.”

RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ won Best Original Song at the Golden Globes 2023 and Best Foreign Language Film at the Critics Choice Awards 2023. The song has also been nominated for Best Original Song for the Oscars 2023.

RRR stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in the leading roles along with Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in special roles. The film released last year in March and went on to become a blockbuster. RRR is a fictional tale of two Indian revolutionaries, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. The film explores the friendship between Ram and Bheem and their journey away from home during the 1920s.
