The official Facebook page of Prabhas was hacked on Thursday and the actor had to issue a statement. He took to his Instagram account to inform his fans that his team is looking into the matter.

On late Thursday, Prabhas confirmed the hack and wrote on Instagram Stories, “Hello everyone, my Facebook page has been compromised. The team is sorting this out.” This was after two videos were shared on his Facebook page which were captioned captioned ‘Unlucky Humans’ and ‘Ball fails around the world’.

On the work front, Prabhas’ latest outing, Adipurush, helmed by Om Raut, received heavy criticism and backlash for its adaptation of Ramayana. He is now gearing up for Prashanth Neel’s directorial Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. The film also features Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles. It is slated for a theatrical release on September 28.

Prabhas will also be starring in Nag Ashwin directorial Kalki 2898 AD. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamanl Hassan in important roles. The film’s first glimpse was released at San Diego Comic Con 2023. The film releases in January 2024.
