Babil Khan remembers dad Irrfan Khan on his 57th birth anniversary: “Celebrating a man who always forgot his own birthday”
Actor Babil Khan, who has been working in the industry for over a year, often fondly remembers his late father, critically acclaimed star Irrfan Khan, who passed in April 2020 following his battle with cancer. On Sunday, Babil penned a heartfelt and emotional note remembering his father on his birth anniversary. On January 8, 2024, Irrfan Khan would have turned 57.
Babil Khan took to Instagram on Sunday to share an unseen photo of his father Irrfan Khan from the sets of the 2017 film The Song of Scorpions. In the picture, the actor was seen feeding cake to Anup Singh and had celebrated his birthday on the sets of the film. The actor wrote, “Celebrating a man who always forgot his own birthday @irrfan.”

Anup Singh also shared the same photo and wrote, “The look, the smile, the hand on the shoulder, the taste of the cake, the scent of the desert and the cheer of the team remain. The force of memory does help to accept and reconcile oneself with the grief.”

Meanwhile, Babil Khan made his Bollywood debut with the 2022 Netflix movie, Qala. The actor was most recently seen in YRF’s first web series, The Railway Men.
