Friends star Lisa Kudrow has said that she doesn’t believe there will ever be a revival of the hit comedy series, but she is all in support for seeing a reboot with a whole new cast of characters who could bring the show into the here and now. After almost two decades off-air, Friends is still a huge crowd-pleaser, with constant reruns bringing in viewers across streaming platforms worldwide, and the HBO Max reunion special last year proved that the Friends fan base is stronger than ever. However, the chances of seeing Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, Rachel, Joey, and Ross on-screen again are pretty slim according to Kudrow, so does that mean a new cast should bring s new set of Friends into the world.

Actor Norman Reedus recently suffered a concussion while working on The Walking Dead's final episodes, but his recovery is going well as he looks forward to returning to work. Ever since his debut in season 1, Reedus has served as one of the show's most popular stars with his role as survivalist Daryl Dixon. Perhaps in part due to fans consistently threatening to "riot" should The Walking Dead ever kill Daryl, the character is one of very few to have survived the entire show's run.



True Detective Season 4 Is Happening at HBO with Barry Jenkins and Issa Lopez

HBO has officially announced the fourth season of the acclaimed crime drama series True Detective. Issa Lopez (Tigers Are Not Afraid) will be taking over writing duties from creator Nic Pizzolatto. Lopez will also serve as an executive producer in addition to directing the pilot. Barry Jenkins (Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk) will also be executive producing the show, tentatively titled True Detective: Night Country.



The Talk: Sharon Osbourne to Host UK Talk Show with Same Name as CBS Series

Sharon Osbourne will soon be back on daytime television as host of The Talk, but she's not returning to the CBS series that fired her last year. She will be hosting a new talk show in the UK also called The Talk, which will be a part of TalkTV, the News Corp. channel that serves as Piers Morgan's home. In fact, it was Morgan who announced The Talk in a video posted to Twitter that includes a special appearance from Osbourne.



U2 Biopic in Development at Netflix With J.J. Abrams and Bohemian Rhapsody Writer

J.J. Abrams is developing a TV series based on the Irish rock band U2 for Netflix. Abrams will produce the currently untitled show via his Bad Robot Productions. Anthony McCarten (Bohemian Rhapsody, The Two Popes) will be writing the script. The extent of U2’s involvement in the series is currently unknown, but as per The Hollywood Reporter, who first reported this news, the band is “expected to be involved and sanction the project.”

Veteran actor Johnny Depp is returning to the world of animation. Per Variety, the animated series Puffins Impossible, which features Depp in the lead voice role, will soon be streaming on Apple TV and Prime Video. The series is a spinoff of the animated short-form series Puffins, which also starred Depp as the voice of Johnny Puff. He reprises that role for this new series.

Since the final episode aired in 2003, there have been numerous attempts to revive and reboot the show, but even though talks have been ongoing as recently as 2020, it just hasn’t happened yet.



The Boys Star Karen Fukuhara Says She Was Struck by Man in Random Attack

The Boys star Karen Fukuhara has called to #StopAsianHate after an unprovoked attack. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a statement addressing the situation, telling her followers that she'd been randomly "struck" by a man hard enough to knock off her hat. Though she says she's "physically fine" after the incident, she still feels that she's "lucky" that the situation didn't get worse. Fukuhara hopes that telling the story will help raise awareness about these kinds of random attacks against women, Asians, and the elderly.



Resident Evil: Netflix's Live-Action Series Gets Summer Release Date

Netflix Announces New Dr. Seuss Content for Preschoolers

Netflix will be delving further into the wacky world of Dr. Seuss. The streamer has just announced an extended partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises to develop five new animated preschool series and specials based on the various works of the legendary children's book author. Titles confirmed to get new projects through the deal include Horton Hears a Who!; The Sneetches; One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish; and Wacky Wednesday. Lovable characters like Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose will also be involved.

Fugitives., a wild four-part documentary series that tells the story of Sarma Melngailis, a superstar raw food chef from New York City, New York. Sarma married a shady hustler and went from being known as the queen of vegan cuisine to being a woman on the run until she was eventually busted for ordering a Domino's pizza. Her misdeeds done at his urging resulted in a collateral-damage tally of $6.1 million, according to The Daily Beast.
