Disney+ Moves Obi-Wan Kenobi Premiere Date, Announces Double Episode Debut

While many Star Wars fans were looking to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the original movie by sitting down to enjoy the premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+, it seems that they will have to wait just a little bit longer to see Ewan McGregor’s return as the Jedi Master. Disney released a short message from McGregor himself, which announced that the show’s debut will now be moving back by two days to Friday, May 27th, but on that day Disney will be releasing the first two episodes of the series to add a little sweetener to the delay.

Disney to Rectify Falcon and The Winter Soldier Censoring Issue

When it was reported yesterday that Disney+ had seemingly made minor cuts to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier to remove some violent scenes, it was widely believed that there could be some work in progress by Disney to “clean up” some of their continue. Given their past history of making subtle changes to older content when added to the platform, this was not too much of a stretch of the imagination. However, it seems that there was another innocent explanation for the sudden appearance of the changes, which comes down to an attempt to alter an error in the credits.

Disney+ Quietly Make Edits to Violent Scenes in Marvel TV Series

Many international countries have been watching mature content on the Disney+ platform for a while now. However, the recent changes to its U.S. version that has seen the introduction of parental controls and the arrival of Marvel’s former Netflix series such as Jessica Jones and Daredevil have caused several heated discussions about what should and shouldn’t be on a platform that has primarily been catered to family only viewing. However, it looks like some of those sneaky Disney edits that saw changes previously made to scenes of Lilo and Stitch, Splash and more have now been made to one of the MCU's recent TV shows to remove some violence from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Loki Directors Compare 'Fresh' Second Season to Moon Knight

Fans of Loki are looking forward to finding out what is in store for the god of mischief in the second season of his Disney+ show, and when the show does return it will have a different director at the helm. While Kate Herron was highly praised for the first season of Loki, she chose to step back from the follow-up, leaving way for Moon Knight directors Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson to come in and oversee the show. The pair’s work on two of Moon Knight’s episodes was reportedly what led to conversations about Loki, and they have been describing how the two shows are not too dissimilar and the new season of Loki will be “fresh.”
