Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is busy with wrapping up her film commitments, took time out from her schedule to congratulate actress-producer Angelina Jolie on her recent moment of triumph. The Desi Girl actress took to social media to pen a long note to share her happiness over her friend and colleague’s achievement of winning the prestigious Tony Award for the Best Musical for her recent production The Outsider and along with that, she also applauded the work of her daughter Vivienne.

Taking to her Instagram story, Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared a photo of Angelina Jolie and daughter Vivienne rejoicing this special moment on stage. In the note which she shared as a caption, she also appreciated the hard work put in by Vivienne and added, “”Huge congratulations to this angel who deserves everything in life and more! Congratulations on winning the Tony for best musical for The Outsiders and also multiple awards and 12 nominations!! You’re a force and I’m so inspired by you everyday @angelinajolie. Congratulations Vivian.”

Angelina Jolie marks her first collaboration with daughter Vivienne

Angelina Jolie revealed that her daughter Vivienne is quite passionate about theatre and even assisted in the production of this Broadway Musical. In an interview with Deadline, she had said, “My daughter Viv loves theater. She appreciates all theater but she certainly knows what she feels close to and what she responds to. She went to see The Outsiders at La Jolla, [California] about five times and was telling me about it, and I had read the book, and I’d seen the film years ago.” She also opened about how her daughter worked hard and stated, “I had the privilege of watching everyone work over this last year to make it into what it is, and Vivienne has been there the whole way.”

About The Outsiders

Based on the novel written by S.E. Herton, the musical revolves around two rival gangs divided by class and status which is set against the backdrop of Tulsa in Oklahoma.

While reports of them parting ways started doing the rounds yet again recently, the Kitni Mohabbat Hai actor remained conspicuous when he did not share a birthday post for his lady love, adding fuel to the fire. However, he decided to put an end to the same on Sunday, when took to social media to reveal about their recent vacation.

On June 16, Karan Kundrra took to Instagram to share vacation photos and videos with Tejasswi Prakash and we must say that the couple does look much in love! Sharing snaps along with a picturesque view, although the duo refrained from revealing details of their getaway, Karan shared a sweet note in the caption which is a Punjabi verse. “vassdi tu rahe.. hassdi tu ravein.. sannu rokkan vaala kehda ni? Rabb varga aasra tera ni.. raahe raahe jaan waaliye..! Interestingly, Tejasswi also responded him with a Punjabi verse and added, “Mai Tere sar uthe be java ni Mai Tera khoon pi java ni Rahe rahe jaan waliye”.

Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash talk about breakup rumours

While this is not the first time where the rumours of the couple breaking up have found its way in reports, both Karan and Tejasswi, on many occasions, have asserted fans about the relationship status. “As a couple we have jobs, and some people don’t. It doesn’t affect me, because we are sitting together and people are saying we broke up, or she got married to someone else. Some people are just too free,” Karan had said in an interview with News18 Showsha. Tejasswi too had explained in a Times Now report about her refraining from talking about her relationship wherein she had stated, “I am in love. I am a little superstitious. I feel the more I talk about it, the more people tend to take the jinx off the beautiful things in your life.”

Devara DOP Rathnavelu expresses gratitude after shooting ‘intense’ action sequence with Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan under ‘bad’ weather conditions

Considering that Man of the Masses, Jr NTR will be returning to the big screen after the grand success of RRR, has sparked much excitement among fans regarding Devara: Part 1. The high-octane action drama, which will feature Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist, is currently in the shooting stage and the cinematographer of the film, Rathnavelu ISC dropped photos from the sets of the entertainer along with sharing details of an intense action sequence.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Rathnavelu shared snaps of him shooting for this high-octane sequence, but did not share any photos of Jr. NTR or Saif Ali Khan in order to retain the details under wraps. However, he did speak about the scene in the caption, wherein he wrote, “Shot an interesting action sequence in Goa forest despite heavy rains and bad weather with @tarak9999 ??and #Saif Ali khan ??Thanx to my wonderful camera crew, light crew ,stunt crew n Team Devara ?? for the cooperation”. As a token of gratitude, he also tagged everyone in this team including filmmaker Kortala Siva.

About Devera: Part 1

Just last week, it was revealed that the release date of the film has been preponed to September from October. The Kortala Siva directorial is expected to release in two parts and is touted to be a massive action entertainer with Jr. NTR as the lead. While it is being said that it is set against the backdrop of the ocean, the film will mark the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor as well as Saif Ali Khan. Apart from them, it is expected to feature an extensive supporting cast too and it is slated for release on September 27 in multiple languages including Hindi.
