Bender Actor John DiMaggio Opens Up About Not Being in Futurama Reboot

While Futurama fans were all over social media at the announcement the show is being rebooted by Hulu, the show will be missing one integral part of its cast in John DiMaggio, who will currently not be returning to voice the character of Bender in the Matt Groening-created series. It was confirmed that the series would be making a return after nine years, but fans had something to say about the voice of Bender being missing from the cast list, and now the actor has spoken out about the situation.



Rashida Jones Set to Star in Sunny for Apple TV+

Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) is set to star in the Apple TV+ production, Sunny. According to Deadline, Sunny is a half-hour 10-episode dark comedic drama created by Katie Robbins (The Affair, The Last Tycoon) and directed by Lucy Tcherniak (Station Eleven, The End of the F***ing World).



Randall Park's Blockbuster Workplace Comedy Series Finds Director

Netflix's Blockbuster series has picked up a director. Per Deadline, Black Monday helmer Payman Benz has signed on to direct and co-executive four episodes, including the pilot, of the upcoming single-camera workplace comedy series. Benz will specifically be working on episodes 101, 102, 107, and 108. From Universal Television, the 10-episode series, led by Randall Park, is set in the last brick-and-mortar Blockbuster Video store in the United States.



Better Call Saul Officially Wraps Filming as Bob Odenkirk Shares Final Set Photo

That's a wrap on Better Call Saul. First premiering on AMC in 2014, the Breaking Bad prequel series serves as an origin story of Saul Goodman, the cocky attorney and criminal lawyer expertly played by Bob Odenkirk. On Wednesday, the cameras stopped rolling for the final time on the series as filming on the series finale was completed. Odenkirk announced the wrap on Twitter by posting an image of himself on the Albuquerque set alongside Kim Wexler actress Rhea Seehorn.



Beauty and the Beast Prequel Series Not Moving Ahead At Disney+

Little Town, the Disney+ prequel series to Beauty and the Beast has been shut down, according to new reports. As late as last month, the Josh Gad and Luke Evans led show was seemingly all set to film in the summer after adding more cast members, including singer Rita Ora, but the eight-episode series has now had the rug pulled from under it thanks to production schedules falling massively behind their planned timeline. This has led to the decision to put the project "on hold", although there does not seem to be a suggestion when it will be returned to, if at all.



Quantum Leap Reboot Pilot Finds Its Director in Station Eleven's Helen Shaver

The Quantum Leap reboot has just taken a big leap forward with its production. Deadline reports that Helen Shaver, whose work as a director includes Station Eleven, Lovecraft Country, and Maid, has just been signed on to direct and executive produce a Quantum Leap reboot pilot for NBC. As of now, the show hasn't been given a full series order, and that will likely depend on how well the pilot is received internally once it's finished.



Ms. Marvel Release Date and Episode Titles Reportedly Revealed

TV App TV Time, the world’s largest platform tracking TV and movie releases, has been causing a bit of a stir for Marvel fans as not only have they seemed to reveal that She-Hulk will be premiering on Disney+ in June, but also have published a release date and episode titles for the Ms. Marvel series. While Marvel Studios has been traditionally secretive about both of their upcoming shows, there is not much to suggest that the information shown on the TV Time app is not accurate, and that would suggest that we will be seeing Ms. Marvel premiere in May.
