BTS: Chitrangda Singh shoots for her Indo-Italian film along with legendary Italian actor Marco Leonardi

After wowing people with her role in Modern Love Mumbai, actress Chitrangda Singh is all set to play the lead role in Goutam Ghose’s next which is an Indo-Italian film. Reports have it that the actress will be seen alongside the legendary Italian actor Marco Leonardi. The film’s shooting started way back in 2019 but had a major setback due to the pandemic. The team has resumed work now and we recently got a sneak peek into the film in these behind-the scenes (BTS) photos of Singh as she kicked off her recent schedule.

A major portion of the shoot of this Indo-Italian film is expected to be in Mumbai and Jabalpur. And going by the latest BTS photos, it seems that Chitrangda Singh is all set to surprise the audience with a de-glam look. These photos feature her in a plain orange saree and minimalist make-up, giving it a realistic touch. According to reports, the Desi Boyz actress is playing a key role in the film but there has been no official confirmation from the makers. There is also a key character of a child and it’s still not finalized who will play the role.

The film’s script has been written by Goutam Ghose and Jagannath Guha, along with two Italian scriptwriters Amedeo Paganini and Sergio Scapagnini. It is being made in English, Hindi, and partly in Italian. The story revolves around issues of human displacement, through the story of a couple and their child.

Kareena Kapoor Khan gives a sneak peek into the birthday celebrations of son Taimur Ali Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who recently returned home after a long shoots schedule in London, is spending quality time with her family and enjoying the little moments of being a mother. She, along with husband Saif Ali Khan, was recently seen cheering and supporting her son Taimur Ali Khan at a sports event at his school. The couple, yet again, played perfect parents as they planned a lovely birthday bash for Tim, which was Star Wars themed along with a small cameo from Angry Birds.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan planned a perfect Star Wars themed party for their ‘Jedi Tim’. In fact, the actress who is quite active on social media shared a few photos from the fun bash. One of them was a photo of her beloved son Taimur Ali Khan, sliding down the Angry Birds themed bouncy castle, as she proudly exclaimed in the caption, “Ok a clear sign the party was a hit… My Jedi Tim…”

Besides that, she also thanked the event management company for putting this Star Wars themed party together. She also shared a couple of fun moments from the bash on her Instagram story.

A few photos were also posted by the actress’ fan pages, in which it was observed that the cake for the bash was also planned according to the theme. The monochrome birthday cake featured Star Wars in its iconic font along with an edible figurine of a Storm Trooper (popular character from the American sci-fi franchise).

Coming to the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen making her OTT debut with the Netflix film, which is an adaptation of the Japanese Novel, Devotion of Suspect X. The untitled venture is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. She also has a Hansal Mehta directorial in the pipeline, in which she is expected to essay the role of a cop.

Taapsee Pannu does not want to ‘sugar-coat’ being arrogant; says, “If asking for basic human respect of space is arrogance then please call me arrogant”

Not too long ago, Taapsee Pannu was quite upset with paparazzi for questioning her about her late arrival at an event. Now during the promotions of her latest release Blurr, the actress spoke about how she has faced other issues with them, especially when they don’t respect boundaries and sometimes go to the extent of invading her personal ‘breathing’ space. She also expressed that she feels that there are times when they behave in that way to irk her.

In a recent interview with India Today, Taapsee Pannu opened up on how the whole paparazzi culture bothers her. She said, “It does bother me because, after a point, I realized that they are doing it knowing they are going to irk me. Why will you hold my car’s door when I have gotten in? This is intruding my private space. Imagine if you are getting into your car and there are people who have held the car door and not letting you shut the door and shoving the camera in your face, will you like it? Any person, regardless of being a girl or boy, would you like it?”

She further described the reason behind many calling her ‘arrogant’ saying, “I walk without bodyguards. Just because of that, you have the liberty to shove your cameras and mike into me, physically, and not give me a regular human being’s breathing space just because I’m a public figure. It gives you the liberty to violate my personal space. And then, obviously, the icing on the cake becomes when the media make headlines that I’m arrogant. If I’m arrogant to ask for basic human respect of space, then please call me arrogant, but I will not just try to sugar-coat and be this good girl because I’m in front of this camera. I am not that person. You get what you see.”

On the film front, Taapsee Pannu was last seen in the film Blurr that premiered on Zee5 on December 9. Directed by Ajay Bahl, the film featured the actress in a double role.

Mission Majnu: Netflix launches trailer of Sidharth Malhotra – Rashmika Mandanna starrer at India Gate

Netflix unveiled the teaser of its much anticipated espionage thriller, Mission Majnu, at the iconic India Gate in the National Capital. In a moving tribute to the many celebrated as well as the unsung heroes of our nation on the 51st Vijay Diwas, Sidharth Malhotra gave his fans a first glimpse of his upcoming action packed film that is set to release on January 20, on Netflix.

Set in the 1970s, Mission Majnu is a patriotic thriller with a love story at its core, showcasing one of India’s most covert operations of taking down Pakistan’s efforts of a nuclear attack. The teaser showcases Sidharth Malhotra as an undercover RAW agent in an intense avatar, with his life hanging on the line for the love of his life- India. Present at the event were Siddharth Malhotra and the filmmakers – Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, Garima Mehta, Shantanu Bagchi along with Monika Shergill, VP-Content, Netflix India.

Commenting on the teaser launch, Sidharth Malhotra says, “It has been an absolute honour and pleasure to have launched the teaser of my film Mission Majnu at India Gate, with the real heroes of our country who sacrifice their lives every day for the love towards their country. Priyanka Chopra shares a post in honor of late dancing star Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss; says, she is still processing

Priyanka Chopra, who was recently seen attending the Red Sea International Film Festival with many other celebrities, was seen taking to social media to share her thoughts on the demise of American hip hop dancing legend and former judge of So You Think You Can Dance, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss. The actress-turned-singer took to social media to express her grief over his sudden demise and also said that she is still processing this news.

Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram to share a story dedicated to the late hip-hop star Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss saying, “Still processing this. You gave so much to the world. You just never know what someone is going through. Rest in peace and love tWitch, You truly were a light. My condolences to @allisonholker and the children.”

For the unversed, on December 13, the hip hop star was found dead in a hotel room in Los Angeles. As per police statements, it was being said that the star shot himself and it was being ruled out as a suicide. The dancer-choreographer is survived by his wife Allison Holker and three children.

Besides Priyanka Chopra, many other celebrities took to social media to express their grief and shared a condolence message on the platform. Readers would be also aware that tWitch was featured as a co-host on the most popular talk show, Ellen DeGeneres show, of which he was also the executive producer. Ellen shared several posts with her good friend and co-host expressing her grief over the loss. The first post read, “I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.” She shared another post, a throwback video of her favourite memories with him saying, “Right now what I want to do is remember all the love and laughter I had with tWitch. He brought so much joy to my life. I know he brought joy to yours too. I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite moments with him. If you want to you can also share yours. #ILovetWitch”.
