Priyanka Chopra cheers on Nick Jonas, shares poster of his upcoming film The Good Half

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are one of the most charming and powerful couples. The actress frequently sends him thank-you notes. And now, she became a cheerleader for him because Nick will soon appear in a film called The Good Half. Priyanka Chopra also posted the poster. Priyanka uploaded the poster depicting Nick and others on Instagram Stories.

She wrote, “Can’t wait.” The Good Half is a comedy drama that stars Nick Jonas in his first leading role. Robert Schwartzman directed the picture. Brittany Snow, David Arquette, Alexandra Shipp, Matt Walsh, and Elisabeth Shue round out the cast. The film’s plot revolves around Nick Jonas’ character, who is attempting to cope with his mother’s death as well as his previous traumas.

Utopia Movies published the poster on their official Instagram account and said that the preview screenings would take place on 23 and 25 July in over 900 theatres across the United States. On both days, an exclusive virtual event will be held in which the director, Robert Schwartzman, and Nick Jonas will engage with Kiernan Shipka.

Priyanka Chopra is presently filming for The Bluff. The cast also includes Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Vedanten Naidoo. The film is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios in partnership with Anthony and Joe Russo’s AGBO. The Quantico star finished filming Heads Of State in April of this year, prior to beginning work on The Bluff. The actress will co-star with Idris Elba, John Cena, and Jack Quaid in the film directed by Ilya Naishuller.

Aside from the two projects, Priyanka has also announced a collaboration with the production team of Barry Avrich’s forthcoming feature documentary Born Hungry.

SCOOP: CULT anime film Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama to have a GRAND release in cinemas

Last year saw the release of Adipurush (2023) based on the epic Ramayana. Next year, if all goes well, another film on this subject will be released, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol and Yash. And this year, too, audiences will be treated with a film version of Ramayana, that too, the one which is close to their hearts. As per trade sources, the much-loved anime film Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama is all set to release in theatres this year.

A trade expert told Bollywood Hungama, “Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama has been remastered in 4K by the makers. They felt that releasing the movie in cinemas could be a good idea as it never arrived on the big screen. Moreover, they keep getting a lot of love and positive comments on their social media handles. In fact, after Adipurush disappointed moviegoers, many on social media drew parallels with Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama and shared its clips. This proves that it has a strong recall value and a cult following.”

The source further added, “The makers have begun talks with distributors to understand how wide the release should be and other such strategies.” When asked when the film will be released, the source replied, “The date has not been locked. But they are looking at releasing it either in September or October. A clearer picture will emerge in a few weeks.”

Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama was a co-production between India and Japan and was directed by Koichi Sasaki, Ram Mohan and Yugo Sako. Originally in English, it was later dubbed in Hindi. The latter version was played on the popular kids’ channel Cartoon Network in 2002 as a weekly series and got a huge viewership.

Interestingly, Arun Govil, who played the role of Lord Rama in the classic TV show Ramayan, also voiced the character in Ramayana: The Legend Of Prince Rama. Amrish Puri meanwhile gave the voiceover for Ravana. Acclaimed music director Vanraj Bhatia composed its songs.

Another fascinating trivia was that an alternate English version was released in the USA. It was called Warrior Prince and The Prince of Light: The Legend Of Ramayana and Lord Rama was voiced by none other than Bryan Cranston of ‘Breaking Bad’ fame. Moreover, the narrator was James Earl Jones, who provided the voice for Darth Vader in the Star Wars franchise.

The heartwarming pictures showcase Richa’s beautiful baby bump. In one particularly tender image, Richa rests on Ali’s lap, their hands intertwined over her belly. Accompanying the photos, Richa penned a heartfelt message expressing her love for Ali and their journey together. 

“What can a love so pure bring forth into the world, but a beam of light?” the mom-to-be actress wrote. She went on to thank Ali for his support, their photographer Rid Burman, and stylist Kanika Gulati. Richa concluded the note with a beautiful aspiration for their child: “May we bring forth a warrior of light, a child of compassion, empathy, healing and above all love. Ameen!”

Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla unveil the making of Radhika Merchant’s mesmerizing ‘Panetar’ lehenga

Radhika Merchant looked straight out of a storybook in a crimson and white lehenga made by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for her July 12 wedding to Anant Ambani. Her wedding attire is a typical version of ‘Panetar’, a Gujarati ritual in which brides wear red and white.

Radhika looked ethereal in her ivory attire with gorgeous zardozi cutwork. The costume included a trailing ghagra layered with a second detachable trail, a 5-meter head veil, and a tissue dupatta.

In a recent social media post, the renowned fashion designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla shared a mesmerizing video showcasing the intricate creation of Radhika Merchant’s bridal lehenga.

In the video, viewers can witness the painstaking process that went into crafting the lehenga. Every detail, from the delicate embroidery to the selection of luxurious fabrics, highlights the dedication to perfection and their commitment to honoring cultural heritage through contemporary design.

This opulent yet traditional ensemble created 25 of the most gifted karigars at Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The ghagra, with three red borders, was embellished with the best naqshi, saadi, and zardozi craftsmanship. The hand-embroidered delicate flower boots on the costume were embellished with stones, sequins, tamba tikkis, and a hint of red resham, as stated by the creators in their post.

Radhika’s veil was composed of delicate jaali and cutwork, whereas the path had significant zardozi work.

Posting the video he captioned, “An intricate interpretation of ‘Panetar’ by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, which refers to the Gujarati tradition of brides wearing red and white for their big day. A glimpse into the making of Radhika Merchant’s glorious bridal lehenga.”

Radhika finished her wedding look with royal diamonds and simple makeup.

Janhvi Kapoor dazzles at Ulajh launch, hilariously shuts down to marriage rumourss

Janhvi Kapoor stunned everyone at the Ulajh launch ceremony. The actor was asked if the ‘secret’ she posted on her Instagram stories had anything to do with her marriage to her rumoured boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya and she had responded hilariously.

Janhvi took to her Instagram stories on Monday morning and wrote, “Guys!! I have a secret. Can’t wait to share it with you!” The secret, as it turned out, was about the trailer launch of her upcoming film Ulajh. In the evening, when she was attending an event for the film, a reporter asked her, “Janhvi, is there some wedding news?” She hilariously replied, “Are you mad?” Then she was asked what the ‘secret’ she posted was about, and she said, “You’ll know tomorrow.”

Janhvi and Shikhar make frequent public appearances together. They’ve attended red carpet events and Bollywood parties together, as well as a trip to Tirupathi with Orry. Janhvi once flaunted a necklace with the word Shiku engraved on it. The most recent event where they were spotted together was Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. Shikhar even hooted as she posed for photos in a gold lehenga.

On Koffee With Karan, she also hinted at their on-off relationship in season 2. When Karan Johar asked her to identify three persons from her speed dial list, she said, “Papa, Khushu (Khushi Kapoor), and Shikuuu (Shikhar).” Later, she was cautious, saying, “Just because we are really good friends.”

Janhvi recently appeared in Mr & Mrs Mahi with Rajkummar Rao. Sharan Sharma directed the film, in which she played a doctor turned cricketer. She will soon appear in Sudhanshu Saria’s Ulajh, which stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and Adil Hussain, as well as Shashank Khaitan’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which stars Varun Dhawan.

Janhvi will make her Tollywood debut in Koratala Siva’s Devara: Part 1, which stars Jr NTR. She portrays Thangam in the film. She will also co-star with Ram Charan in his upcoming film, Buchi Babu Sana.
