Hrithik Roshan – Rakesh Roshan to lock Krrish 4 plot over summer; shoot expected to kick off in 2025: Report

It has been over a decade since the release of Krrish 3 in 2013, and the absence of any concrete information about the next film has left fans eagerly awaiting news of its development. However, in a recent update provided by filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, it appears that progress is finally being made. After a long wait filled with anticipation, fans of the Indian superhero franchise Krrish finally have reason to rejoice. In 2023, it was reported that Rakesh Roshan hinted Krrish 4 wouldn’t begin production until the end of 2024. Now, Mid-day reveals that both Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan are gearing up to kickstart the project sooner than expected.

According to sources close to the production, Hrithik Roshan will be actively involved in conceptualizing the next installment of the superhero saga while simultaneously shooting for War 2. Collaborating with his father and their in-house team of writers, the aim is to solidify the primary idea for Krrish 4 this year. According to the publication, a source said, “The project is currently in development. Hrithik has scheduled brainstorming sessions throughout the summer. Both Rakesh and he wants to deliver a story that will exceed expectations.”

While details about the plot remain under wraps, earlier rumours suggested that Krrish 4 could explore the realm of intergalactic travel. With plans to lock in the primary concept in 2024, the stage will be set for the commencement of shooting in 2025. The source added, “The team has explored and subsequently shot down a lot of ideas. The makers are certain that if the story doesn’t work, they won’t go ahead with it. That’s why they have dedicated so many months to finding the right story to take the superhero’s journey ahead.”

Amid her hectic schedule, the actress decided to make it special for her husband Rahul Nagal, who turned a year older this weekend. Shraddha Arya took to her official Instagram page to share photos from the birthday celebrations where she was dressed in a casual black dress twinning with her husband who also opted for the same colour shirt. The duo were seen posing in the restaurant where they seem to have enjoyed a scrumptious spread with their friends. Along with group photos, Shraddha also posted a sneak peek into the cake cutting ceremony and in one of the pics she was seen fondly feeding Rahul Nagal on this special occasion. Speaking of Shraddha Arya, the actress has been essaying the role of Preeth Luthra in the popular primetime Zee TV show ever since 2017. Ranbir Kapoor impresses with a headstand during a gym training session; fans wonder if he is prepping for Ramayan

Ever since the grand success of Animal, fans cannot wait to see Ranbir Kapoor back on the big screen. And after playing an obsessive, abusive, impulsive, and violent man in Animal, the actor is expected to play the Lord Ram himself, if the buzz is to be believed. He has reportedly been signed for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan, an official announcement of which is still awaited. Speaking of the film, several reports have been claiming that Yash will be essaying the role of Raavan, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, whereas other names and characters which have been doing the rounds include Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanaka, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Amitabh Bachchan as Dashrath Maharaja, among others. Names of Bobby Deol and Vijay Sethupathi were also associated with the film wherein it was being said that they were being approached for the role of Kumbhakaran and Vibhishan.

Not too long ago, some reports claimed that Nitesh Tiwari is keen on making the official announcement of the film on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. In another news, it was being said that the film will not be kick starting any time soon. In an exclusive Bollywood Hungama report, a source was quoted saying, “The project is on. But not this year. There are too many internal issues to be resolved.”

For the unversed, apart from throwing colors on each other, Holi celebrations also include the ‘Dahan’ which is held a day prior to the festival of colors, as it signifies the victory of good over evil. Many celebrities often attend this bonfire which is hosted in societies and even on the streets of the country as a tradition. The Bachchans hosted a private Holika Dahan celebration at their residence where the bonfire was held in their lawn. Abhishek Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan among others were a part of it.

Navya Naveli Nanda took to social media to share photos from the Holika Dahan where they also apply colors to each other as a part of the festivities. Sharing photos of the bonfire as well as a few candid moments wherein she is applying color to her uncle Abhishek Bachchan, one where her beloved ‘mamu’ is seen inspecting the bonfire, among others. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar dropped a heart showcasing her love for these pictures, whereas actor-dancer Naved Jafri also extended his Holi wishes to the family.

Kangana Ranaut and Arun Govil to fight on BJP tickets in the Lok Sabha elections 2024

The BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) has come up with its fifth list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Among them are two names from the entertainment industry in the form of Kangana Ranaut and Arun Govil. They will be fighting from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh and Meerut constituency in Uttar Pradesh respectively.

Kangana has been a vocal supporter of BJP and its governance for years. After getting the news, the Gangster actress shared her happiness on her X (formerly Twitter) page by writing, “My beloved Bharat and Bhartiya Janta’s own party, Bharatiya Janta party (BJP) has always had my unconditional support, today the national leadership of BJP has announced me as their Loksabha candidate from my birth place Himachal Pradesh, Mandi (constituency) I abide by the high command’s decision on contesting Loksabha polls. I feel honoured and elated to officially join the party. I look forward to be a worthy karyakarta and a reliable public servant. Thanks.”

Arun Govil, who is already a member of the BJP since 2021, is best known for his portrayal of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s classic television show Ramayan on Doordarshan. He has also acted in a number of Hindi movies. He will next be seen in the role of Lord Vitthal in the Hindi movie Sant Tukaram, where well-known Marathi actor Subodh Bhave will be the titular role.

Kangana, on the other hand, will next be seen in the role of India’s former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the movie Emergency, which she has also directed.
