The Wonder Women Have Reunited in DC's Rebirth Universe

The belovedWonder Womanhas had her hands full since her 750th issue, with a former friend turning into the villainous 'Warmaster,' and forming and unleashing the Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse. The final page of the newest issue reveals the highly anticipated, long-awaited reunion of Diana Prince and Donna Troy -- the Wonder Women.

Writer Steve Orlando’s latest run on Wonder Woman began in the milestone Wonder Woman #750, with art by Jesus Merino. Since then, we have learned that Warmaster has been on a personal quest for vengeance after learning that her Valkyrie ancestors have been engaged in a battle with the Amazons that killed all but one of her ancestors. Meanwhile, Donna has been warring with Devastation and Armageddon inside her own Lasso of Truth. After rejecting their offer to join them as the final member of the Four Horsewomen, Donna decides it's time for a team-up.

Leaving her enemies neatly tied up for the Justice League, Donna races to Norway, where her estranged sister is buried in the rubble of Warmaster’s secret mountain side headquarters. Diana is punching her way out when a forearm bearing the familiar Bracelets of Submission reaches out to help, leaving the pair to embrace and plan their counterattack. Not as hero and sidekick, but as Wonder Women.

Wonder Woman #756 is only the second chapter in Orlando’s reinvigorating storyline. A great deal of Warmaster’s history is revealed, as well as her plans to invade Themyscira via a portal in Boston. Von Gunther threatens to obliterate both Earth and Themyscira and Diana rejects her ultimatum by knocking her out with her tiara. Warmaster retaliates with a mechanical Pegasus as her Horsewoman, Genocide, defeats all Amazons protecting the portal. Donna comes to Diana’s rescue just in the nick of time, as the island that birthed them faces imminent destruction.

Donna Troy first debuted as Wonder Woman’s sidekick, Wonder Girl, in The Brave and the Bold #60 (1965), and was created by Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani. In her 2011 New 52 origin story, Troy was created by an evil sorceress to destroy Wonder Woman, and implanted with false memories, but DC’s Rebirth initiative reunited her with Wally West, and restored her true origins. She has since assumed leadership of the original Titans, after Nightwing was shot in the head by KGBeast. Like the rest of her teammates, Donna Troy was never intended to be anything more than a sidekick or sideshow freak, but like Dick Grayson and Wally West, grew to adulthood and found her own identity. Her fans have endured some grueling retconning, but seeing her alongside her sister Amazon, in their classic costumes, is a much-needed moment of triumph, especially amid the return of monthly comics.

Wonder Woman #756 is available now from DC Comics or your local comic book shop.

The Time Stan Lee Forgot Spider-Man's Name (Really) | Screen Rant

Alliterative names and comic books go hand in hand. DChas Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, Billy Batson, Wonder Woman, et al. And the legendary Stan Lee was a fan of the practice too, with heroes like Sue Storm, Matt Murdock, Bruce Banner, and the unforgettableSpider-Man himself, Peter Palmer. Wait. What?

It's true. In Spidey's very first solo book, 1963's The Amazing Spider-Man #1, Stan Lee misnamed the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man as Peter Palmer instead of Parker. Not only that, he did it not once, not twice, but three times in the story Spider-Man Vs. the Chameleon! But what's curious, is that this gaff happened in the second story of the book. The issue's first story, simply titled Spider-Man, correctly identifies the character with his proper spelling at least five times.

Related: Spider-Man Only Became A Superhero... For The Money

Before his passing, Lee had gone on record admitting that his memory was terrible and that he found the alliteration as an easy way to recall his characters' names:

"So I finally figured out, if I could give somebody a name, where the last name and the first name begin with the same letter, like Peter Parker, Bruce Banner, Matt Murdock, then if I could remember one name, it gave me a clue what the other one was, I knew it would begin with the same letter."

And in Lee's defense, he was right that the technique helped him remember the first letter. It was just the rest of the name he could have used a similar trick for. Also, neither artist Steve Ditko or letterer John Duffi - not to mention the book's editors - picked up on the mistake either.

It's also worth remembering this is Spider-Man's first solo book and only his second appearance ever, following his debut in (Amazing Fantasy #15) so Peter Parker wasn't the household name that he is today. Also, mistakes like these aren't terribly uncommon. Frank Miller's Daredevil #168 misspelled Elektra's name (as Elecktra) right on the cover of her debut issue and  Action Comics #598 apparently forgot where Superman lives, with its cover saying he calls "Metroplis" home. But it's still funny to consider nobody caught the mistake, especially when he would go on to be one of Marvel's flagship characters. And it's not exclusive to comics, either. You can find similar missteps in the MCU as well.

At the end of the day, nobody is perfect - not even Stan "The Man" Lee - and mistakes happen, meaning this is just a silly footnote in comic history. Even with his alliteration trick, brain farts are bound to happen. So Stan slightly slipped scripting Spider-Man's secret. Sorry, supporters. Stan's Spidey Senses simply seemed somewhat subdued.

Scoob Review

Scooby-Doo has been around for over 51 years, so the only way that a new theatrical movie about the kids in Mystery Inc needs to bring something new to win over fans.

With Scoob, Warner. Bros did just that and not only brought the first truly great Scooby-Doo theatrical movie but also revived and possibly created a new Hanna Barbara movie universe.

Possibly the smartest thing it did was make the film animated. That is not an insult to the original live-action Scooby-Doo movies, which had a great cast. However, for Scooby-Doo, animation just feels right.

Scoob starts out in the past when Shaggy was a friendless little boy who found his best friend in a stray puppy with no name that he named Scooby Dooby-Doo. The movie quickly moves to their first Halloween together where they met Fred, Daphne, and Velma, who helped them when some bullies took their candy and threw it into a haunted house.

This also led to Mystery Inc solving its first mystery and the rest is history. Following this was a great opening title sequence that mixed the original cartoon’s intro with the new animated characters. That was simply brilliantly constructed.

After the introduction, the movie introduces the world of Hannah-Barbara.

Too many kids today have no idea who the characters in Hannah-Barbara are outside of Scooby-Doo characters. The main characters introduced here are Blue Falcon and Dynomutt, but in a very different form. Also introduced here are Dick Dastardly as the bad guy, his sidekick Muttley, Captain Caveman, and a ton more in Easter eggs, including nods to Scooby-Doo‘s past.

The actual story of the movie starts with Mystery Inc knowing they need to start either finding a way to make money or they will have to stop their mystery investigation business. That is when a new finance possibly showed up in Simon Cowell (yeah, the American Idol guy). He mentions that Fred, Daphne, and Velma were integral to the group but he couldn’t invest with Shaggy and Scooby there because they brought the group down.

Shaggy and Scooby left and it seemed the group was splitting down the middle. However, when some robots attack and Dick Dastardly tries to abduct the two, Blue Falcon and Dynomutt saved them. This was one of the best parts of the movie. This was not the original Blue Falcon, but the son of the original who shares more in common with Shaggy and Scooby than his dad. It is a great, fresh dynamic that brings something new for old fans.

The mystery is why Dick Dastardly wants Shaggy and Scooby and how Mystery Inc can work with Blue Falcon to save them.

The movie itself is a great one for kids, and it has a lot there for older fans too. The lesson is typical for a kid’s animated movie — friendship conquers all. There is also a lot of winks and nods to adults who watched Hannah-Barbara as kids as well as some sly gags (drop the F-Bomb, Tinder, toxic masculinity) that most adults will snicker at and kids won’t even notice.

The animation in this movie is gorgeous. I can only imagine how great this would look on the big screen of a theater, and sadly, that might never happen thanks to the coronavirus. It is nice that Warner released it for audiences at home during the pandemic and it looked great on TV, the colors bright and vibrant, and the animation crisp and beautiful.

The voice cast is also great. There are some big names here and they sound just like the original voice cast. Will Forte is Shaggy, while veteran Scooby-Doo voice actor Frank Welker traded Fred for Scooby in this movie. The rest of Mystery Inc includes some big names in Gina Rodriguez (Velma), Zac Efron (Fred Jones), and Amanda Seyfried (Daphne). Other big names include Mark Wahlberg as the new Blue Falcon, Ken Jeong as Dynomutt, and Jason Isaacs as Dick Dastardly. However, the one voice actor that distracted from his character was Tracy Morgan as Captain Caveman.

There are a lot of people who won’t give an animated movie the benefit of the doubt and naysayers of Scoob are no different. However, this was a fun movie for the entire family that had a strong message and looked gorgeous. The story was solid and the action and humor was on spot. My 10-year-old gave it five stars and that says it all.

Scoob is a movie that brings the boy and his dog back to the big screen and it is very much worth a watch, especially for families with kids of all ages.

Kevin Smith talks about Joining Marvel Studios & More

The DARK Captain Marvel Actually Killed Her Own Mother

The darkCaptain Marvel actually killed her own mother. In the aftermath of 2008's "Secret Invasion" event, Marvel Comics launched one of their most creative ideas in years. The aftermath of the Skrull invasion saw Norman Osborn rise to power, and he formed his own team of Dark Avengers. This was the so-called "Dark Reign," and it lived up to its title.

The villainous Moonstone became the Dark Avengers' version of Ms. Marvel. Karla Sofen is a twisted psychologist who revels in the exercise of power and manipulation; when she practiced her profession, she rejoiced in manipulating clients into taking their own lives. She became one of Marvel's most powerful supervillains when she absorbed an alien Moonstone into her own body, and she's gone toe-to-toe with the Hulk. Moonstone is a force to be reckoned with. But just how evil is she really?

Related:Even Marvel Admits Captain Marvel's First Costume Was Stupid

The answer was given inMs. Marvel #38, when Norman Osborn decided to have his new Dark Avengers undergo psych evaluations. Moonstone was sent to meet with Doctor Gerald Wright, in part, because Osborn was curious as to her professional opinion of the psychiatrist. What Osborn didn't know, however, was that Wright was actually a telepath who understood all too well what kind of monsters had been recruited into the Dark Avengers. He had come to Avengers Tower intending to murder the Dark Avengers, and he came close to killing Moonstone - until he got distracted. He learned the terrible fate of Moonstone's mother, a secret locked behind a psychic barrier guarded by a projection of the Hulk.

Moonstone's mother worked hard to pay for her daughter's education, taking on three jobs at once. "She gave me everything," Moonstone admitted. "Her whole life was spent making sure I had everything I needed. And how did I pay her back? I found this Moonstone, and I used it to become a bad, bad person." It seems Moonstone's mother was the one person who could make her feel ashamed of what she had become. And so Karla Sofen faced a choice; would she allow this shame to redeem her, or would she commit to the path of evil? Horrifically, she chose the latter, and suffocated her mother in her sleep. She then burned down the apartment to conceal the crime. Moonstone chose to relive this moment for Doctor Wright, and the experienced shocked him so much she was able to break his hold on her mind. He paid the ultimate price for his distraction.

In theory, the Thunderbolts were supposed to be about redemption. But when Moonstone chose to murder her own mother, she passed the point of no return. There is no going back for Karla Sofen; she has embraced evil to the core, and will simply kill anything that tries to redeem her. She proved that when she killed her mother.

Scooby-Doo Is The Instrument of God's Vengeance | Screen Rant

Scooby-Doo has made lots of powerful friends over the years. That includesBatman and Robin, the live-action stars of Supernatural, and in the new movieScoob!,a pup named Scooby-Doo meets fellow cartoon classics Blue Falcon and Dynomutt. But the strangest pairing of all might be when he became the host of a nigh-omnipotent being: the Spectre, DC Comics' manifestation of God's vengeance!

In the spirit of Scooby-Doo's famous and infamous team-up cartoons that pair the mystery-solving mutt and his teenage friends with everyone from the Teen Titans to John Cena, DC ran a comic book called Scooby-Doo Team-Up that lasted for 50 issues, from 2013 to 2019. Each storyline involved Mystery Inc. encountering new DC Comics characters, as well as Hanna Barbara properties like The Flintstones and The Jetsons.

Related: Scooby-Doo: 10 Scariest Villains, Ranked

The Spectre is one of DC's oldest characters, first appearing in 1940. The green-cloaked spirit is tasked by the Presence, DC Comics' equivalent of the Abrahamic God, to enact revenge on evildoers that have earned the Lord's fury. The Spectre, arguably the most powerful character in the DC Universe, has a share of The Presence's omnipotence, but needs a human host to anchor it to the material world and give it a sense of mortal conscience. Absent such a host, the entity becomes unpredictable, its harsh judgment threatening the safety of all existence. Most recently, the Justice League tried to defeat an unmoored Spectre, but didn't stand a chance.

The ghost-napper makes a run for it, and Shaggy nearly does the same thing in the wake of so many haunts roaming free and brandishing weapons. But he realizes that his beloved Great Dane would remain possessed until the evildoer was dealt with, and overcame his cowardice to tackle him and save the day. And that was definitely the right move: in the infinite reaches of the Scooby-Doo multiverse, The Ririt of Rengeance is likely the mightiest incarnation of Scooby, and is certainly the most horrifying... as long as Scrappy-Doo doesn't count.

Assassin’s Creed Ariane Labed Reflects On Her Experience In The Action Movie [Exclusive]

Assassin’s Creed was considered by some critics the film that broke the mold of bad video game movies in the past decade. Of course, video game movies like Pokemon Detective Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog elevated video game movies to the next level.

In 2016, director Justin Kurzel took Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed into complex storytelling and death-defying stunts that marked a new era of video game movies.

Netflix’s Black Lives Matter Section Has Some Great Movies/Shows

“When we say ‘Black Lives Matter,’ we also mean ‘Black storytelling matters.'” This was the opening sentence of a post through which Netflix expressed their sympathies for the civil rights protests that have swept through the country following the death of George Floyd, an African American victim of racially-motivated police brutality.

Although the bulk of the battle of racism has to be fought in the streets of cities, courts of law and halls of government, Netflix also has an important part to play in this struggle. As a platform for entertainment, it can not only enable creators from compromised backgrounds to tell their stories, but – in doing so – also enable its subscribers to see the world through another person’s eyes, an experience which has proven to foster understanding and solidarity.

To that end, the streamer has been busy bringing us a tremendous amount of content by, for and/or about African Americans and they’re all featured in their new Black Lives Matter section. Among these are the documentaries Who Killed Malcolm X, which came out earlier this year, and What Happened, Miss Simone?, a movie that was initially released in 2015. The former investigates the assassination of one of modern history’s most accomplished activists. The latter explores the politically active life of singer Nina Simone, and both are as educative as they are excellent.

When you log onto Netflix today, you will see a carefully curated list of titles that only begin to tell the complex and layered stories about racial injustice and Blackness in America. https://t.co/dN6XQmsrGK pic.twitter.com/3CIrrno6mw

— Netflix (@netflix) June 10, 2020

Dear White People

The streamer also offers content that shows African American life as it is today rather than what it was several decades ago – even if the two time periods appear increasingly similar. Take, for instance, the Netflix original Dear White People.Based on a 2014 film of the same name, it follows a group of colored students as they navigate their way around an Ivy League school that isn’t as inclusive as it thinks itself to be. Although the website What’s On Netflix thinks the show might not be renewed, that’s highly unlikely given the current state of the world.

Elsewhere, they’ve got films like Malcom X,Da 5 Bloods, Mudbound and many, many more. Suffice it to say, there’s a lot in Netflix‘s new Black Lives Matter section to enjoy and we look forward to seeing what else they add in the coming weeks.

The Bachelor Producers, Chris Harrison Say They'll Highlight Diversity

Positive steps will be taken to expand diversity in the cast, reads the statement put out by The Bachelor executive producers including host Chris Harrison on the Bachelor Nation website today.

Since having Rachel Lindsay as the first and only Black lead on The Bachelorette in 2017’s season 21, there is little diversity that was exhibited by the popular show. After facing flak for this lack of representation, ABC finally announced Matt James as the first Black Bachelor to front the show’s upcoming 25th season. This major announcement was seen as a built-up following a petition called "A Campaign For Anti-Racism in the Bachelor Franchise" on Change.org that has till now gathered over 90,000 signatures. The direct petition to ABC and Warner Bros. called out the show for having cast just one Black lead during their course of producing The Bachelor content for 40 seasons and over 18 years. Along with the demand for a Black lead, it also requested for 35 percent of the show's contestants to be people of color, and for participants to be screened for past racist behavior, among 13 other calls to action. Prior to this, the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast co-host Lindsay said she woulddistance herself from the franchise if they failed to address this inherent issue. This series of events that stemmed from a week of nationwide protests against systemic racism in the US, following George Floyd’s death did finally, lead to a historical outcome.

Related:Bachelor: Rachel Lindsay Calls Matt James Casting 'Knee-Jerk' Reaction

After announcing 28-year-old Matt ABC Food Tours co-founder James as the first-ever Black lead for the show on Friday, the executive producers issued a joint statement on Bachelor Nation addressing the lack of representation on The Bachelor. “We are excited to move forward with both Matt James as the new Bachelor and Clare Crawley as our next Bachelorette. We acknowledge our responsibility for the lack of representation of people of color on our franchise and pledge to make significant changes to address this issue moving forward. We are taking positive steps to expand diversity in our cast, in our staff, and most importantly, in the relationships that we show on television. We can and will do better to reflect the world around us and show all of its beautiful love stories," read the text. Host Chris Harrison, 48, who has been the face of the ABC reality show and its spin-off since 2002 also became the first rep to share a congratulatory message to Matt as he also addressed the subject of diversity. “Congrats Matt James!†he captioned his Instagram post on Friday, June 12. “#TheBachelor family is thrilled to start this journey with our new Bachelor! We can and we will do better to portray diverse love stories that reflect the world around us. This is just the beginning," the executive producer Harrison also added.

Matt, who was originally slated to be one of the suitors in Clare Crawley’s upcoming season of The Bachelorette, will now be seen on both the editions as per the statement. Over the years, while the franchise kept promising to seek out participants of color for both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, no fundamental steps were taken in the direction.

With the casting of Matt now sounding to start as a revolution for the show, it does seem like things will be taking a significant turn for the upcoming seasons. Crawley’s previously suspended season is scheduled to begin filming this summer, followed by Matt’s season of The Bachelor to be tentatively launched in 2021.

Dating Around Season 2: When & Where Netflix's Show Was Filmed

If you're someone who couldn't relate much to the dating reality show, Too Hot To Handle, then don't worry. Netflix has come up with another option - Season two of Dating Around that is currently available to stream on the platform. Unlike season one that was shot in New York, its brand new season is filmed in New Orleans, which is quite famous for its round-the-clock nightlife.

If you don't know already, this dating series features six genuine, relatable, love-seeking singles who go on blinddates with five different people (yeah..quantity matters to find quality). The date first starts with drinks and then gradually moves on to dinner, where we see some adorable, cute, and (intimate) moments shared between the potential-pair. It's so heartwarming to watch these pairs develop a connection and then slowly hold hands. While the main cast is enjoying their dates, many viewers are playing a guessing game of who they would finally end up with. Based on the five different dates, these singles have to choose a partner to go on a second date at the end of each episode.

Related:KUWTK: Who is Kylie Jenner's Hot Bodyguard Tim Chung?

Bustle reports that the second season got filmed sometime in October 2019 after the first season released in February 2019 (Indeed, it was a Valentine Day gift for all the singles out there!). This time, producers wanted to try a different location as a backdrop, and instead of New York, they decided to shoot in the city well known for its spicy and singular cuisines, New Orleans. The wardrobe, makeup, and location of the dater was the same throughout five dates in an episode. Check out the trailer below:

Apparently, the latest season was not supposed to air as the show didn't get as much hype it was supposed to gain, but did receive enough appreciation from the critics. However, the streaming platform's chief of unscripted programming, Brandon Riegg, confirmed, "We love that show, and we love the fresh approach that the producers came up with when they first pitched us the concept."

We also love the unscripted and relatable vibe of this show - it's precisely how reality shows should be. The casting team has done a fantastic job of finding people who are genuine and not well-established influencers looking for attention. None of them are models - flaunting their chiseled chest and drop-dead gorgeous bodies (although we love that too). But, we relate to these people to a great extent as they are just like all of us trying to someone they can love.

Star Trek Actor Recalls How He Almost Accidentally Killed Harrison Ford

Garrett Wang’s first big role in Hollywood was playing Ensign Harry Kim on Star Trek: Voyager. But his career could have been over before really getting off the ground. That’s because he nearly killed Harrison Ford.

Wang and his former Voyager co-star, Robert Duncan McNeill, launched The Delta Flyers podcast where they re-watch the series and talk about their time working on the show. In the first episode, Wang recalled the casting process he went through to land the role and explained that he was driving through the Paramount parking lot when Ford stepped out in front of his car.

“I’m actually speeding around the parking lot, and I come around this one bend, and this guy in a suit walks between two cars right in front of my car, so I slam on my breaks,” Wang recalls in the podcast episode. “You know when you almost have an accident; your heart is beating a thousand miles a minute? I lock eyes with this dude in the suit, and it’s Harrison Ford! I look at him, and I go ‘Oh my god! I almost killed Han Solo!’ I would have been hated by nerds everywhere!

“I remember reading the Variety paper, our Hollywood trade paper, the next day, and on the front page was a photo that said ‘Harrison Ford at Paramount Studios for the Clear and Present Danger screening.’ He was there for that, based on the Tom Clancy novel, wearing that same suit I almost maimed him in. He could have been a cripple, because of me.”

It’s a crazy what-if. Fortunately, Ford went about his day and his career and Wang appeared on Voyager for seven seasons.

As fans will know, Ford has had a number of near misses in his life, including more than one involving flying. He crashed his own plane on a golf course a few years ago and in a separate incident, he flew low over an American Airlines plane. Furthermore, earlier this year, he misheard instructions from an air traffic controller and could have collided with a two-seat gyroplane.

Also, you know that scar on his chin? He got that in a car accident where he slammed into a telephone pole. This guy’s got more lives than a cat.

The 77-year-old needs to stay off the ground though because he’s still in high demand. He starred in The Call of the Wild earlier this year, he’s reportedly being eyed to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and he’s set to reprise his role as Indiana Jones for a fifth time. Despite his age, Harrison Ford is showing no signs of slowing down. As long as he doesn’t get hit by cars or crash flying airplanes, that is.

Big Bang Theory: What Happened to Leslie Winkle | Screen Rant

The Big Bang Theory's Leslie Winkle(Sara Gilbert) was a key player in the series' first few seasons, but what happened to her as the series went on?Though many expected to see more of her as the series progressed, over the years, she just gradually faded into the background until she fully disappeared.

Before the introduction of Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Amy (Mayim Bialik), Leslie was The Big Bang Theory's prominent female character other than Penny (Kaley Cuoco). Like the boys, she also works in CalTech as an experimental physicist. Debuting in the season 1 episode 3 titled "The Fuzzy Boots Corollary," Leslie primarily worked with Leonard (Johnny Galecki) as they used the same laboratory. This leads to a short-lived fling, which also caused her to begin a rivalry with Sheldon (Jim Parsons) after she showed off her skills by solving an equation he'd been having problems with. Their match-up further heated up when the boys tap her to be their final teammate for the annual Physics Bowl, following their decision to kick Sheldon off their group.

Related: The Big Bang Theory's Romances Ended Up Killing The Show

Leslie is the female-counterpart to Leonard; both characters are even dressed the same, and for a time, many expected her to ultimately become part of the group. It also helped that viewers' response to the character is mostly positive, motivating The Big Bang Theory to promote her to a main player in the second season. Despite this, she appears sporadically throughout the year. Following her breakup with Leonard, she subsequently starts a new, albeit less serious, affair with Howard (Simon Helberg). In season 3, she only features in the finale as Leonard tries to restart a sexual relationship with her, which she ultimately turns down. She wouldn't return to The Big Bang Theory until season 9 during Sheldon's surprise birthday party. From there, Leslie Winkle is never seen or mentioned in the show again.

Leslie fading away in The Big Bang Theory is due to the writers being unable to crack how to utilize the character. In 2009, Gilbert was quietly bumped off of the series' regular roster because the show's writers reportedly "couldn't write for her, so they changed her status to recurring." When a spokesperson for the show was asked for any comment, they declined to give any. However, as fans know, the character was used less and less, until she just disappeared from the sitcom altogether.

In hindsight, it's strange that The Big Bang Theory had problems using Leslie considering how well they portrayed her in the earlier seasons. She had good interactions with all the characters - even Penny. What makes this odder is that they essentially added some type of variation of the character later on with Amy and Bernadette. Leslie could've had either arc of those characters, and it would've worked. She already established an affair with Howard, which they could've moved forward with, or they could've developed a romantic relationship with her and Sheldon. Even if she didn't become a love interest, just her being on the show makes for a lot of laughs, so it's mind-boggling why the show didn't take advantage of that.

Several actors from Game of Thrones will reunite to live-stream a round of Dungeons & Dragons. The game will be one of three played next weekend to raise money for charity.

Game of Thrones first premiered in April 2011 before coming to a shocking conclusion in May 2019. The show featured a wide range of characters portrayed by many actors throughout its 8 season run. Many became die-hard fans of the show as well as these characters, and upon the show's end, they still wanted more content with their favorites. Some of the actors have gone on to work in other projects, while others have become influences such as Sophie Turner, who portrayed the eldest Stark daughter on the show.

Entertainment Weekly exclusively revealed that on June 20, Daniel Portman (Podrick), Gemma Whelan(Yara Greyjoy), Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton), Natalia Tena (Osha), and Kristian Nairn (Hodor)would reunite for D&D Live 2020: Roll w/ Advantage. Their quest is one of three that will be played over the weekend from June 18-20 to raise money for Red Nose Day, a charity aiming to help end child poverty. One of the game developers for Dungeons & Dragons, Kate Welch, will serve as Dungeon Master and has designed an adventure that sees the cast members receive a strange quest from a mysterious creature.

The actors/actresses, while maybe on opposing sides in the show, will team up as heroes in a quest that is likely to be extraordinary. While the cast members may be returning to the genre, they will not be portraying the same characters they did in HBO's adaptation of George R.R. Martin's books. In a promo video for the event, the actors teased what their characters in the quest might look like, with Rheon eluding to the fact that he would be quite the opposite of his character on the show.

For fans of Game of Thrones, this event may be a must-see. This is the first time that cast members, especially these actors, in particular, will be reuniting since the show wrapped up production early last year. And seeing as Dungeons & Dragons quests provide a much different environment than any Game of Thrones episode, it will give viewers a chance to see these actors and actresses in a much different light. "The games I run tend to ridiculous and goofy, which are two words I wouldn't apply to Game of Thrones, necessarily," Welch told Entertainment Weekly.

How to Focus Umbral Engrams in Destiny 2: Season of Arrivals

Destiny 2: Season of the Worthy brings with it some new content, slowly bridging the gap between light and dark. As Guardians gear up to face the pyramid ships and repel their current incursions on Io, these ships and their influence start to take shape, effecting more than just the agents of darkness. Players come across newly discovered "Umbral Engrams" Engrams coated with the Darkness making it impossible for the average cryptarch to decrypt.

The Drifter has always expressed his desires to tango with the Darkness and these new Umbral engrams make him giddier than an kitten around catnip. With cryptarchs unable to decipher the engrams secrets as their powers are solely for the light, The Drifter offers Guardians a way to not only reap rewards from this engrams, but even manipulate them, and obtain the rewards the Guardians desire. This guide will break down the "focusing" process, so players can make the most of earning Umbral Engrams.

Umbral Engrams like other engrams can be decoded as is, for a chance of earning a random reward. But the Drifter is better than that and knows the Guardian is too. With a lot more than an unhealthy dose of optimism and curiosity, the Drifter prepares some special tools that allow players to alter the state of Umbral Engrams tainted with darkness, and "focus" them into a desired loot pool. The Umbral Decoder decrypts Umbral Engrams while the Prismatic Recaster serves as the "vendor" for focusing the engrams. Like last season's vendor there are two sub-menus. The Umbral Focusing menu is for just as it's name states, and the other menu Gifts of Light & Dark, is for unlocking affects and buffs to improve the way players can earn rewards and engrams. The Gifts of light and Dark sub menu can be upgraded by obtaining twisted energy, currently obtainable from weekly Prismatic Recaster bounties.

The Umbral focusing menu has a top, middle and bottom row. The first row is split into four main loot-pools/engrams that players can choose from. The first being new pyramid-focused gear that are all weapons for a total of 6, the second being armor-focused gear for the Holdfast set of 5 pieces, the third being legacy-seasons gear for 2 items each from the last 3 seasons making a total of 6 weapons, and Dredgen focused gear with Drifter themed weapons for a total of 4. Players need any earned Umbral Engrams and the consumable "Altered element" in order to focus their engrams. Altered element is earned from completing daily bounties from the Prismatic Recaster, Nightfall: The ordeal, Claiming this seasons Triumphs, Gambit and Crucible matches. The second row splits the weapon loot pools further making each possible engram contain a 2 weapon possibility for a total of 8 different weapon-focused engrams. The third row allows players to focus the engrams into containing an armor piece with a specific extra high stat from one of the six available on every armor piece. Unfortunately, upgrading the next two rows are tied to the season pass so players are going to have to grind those experience points in order to truly influence their engrams to that level of precision.
