Justice League Snyder Cut May Explore Dick Grayson Robin's Death

More may be revealed about the death of the DC Extended Universe’s Robin, Dick Grayson, in Zack Snyder’sJustice League. Although Robin has not appeared in the DCEU, inBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, fans see his suit. Robin’s armor is covered in graffiti that reads, “Hahaha joke’s on you Batman.†The moment led to speculation that this version of Robin was murdered by the Joker.

At first, it was unclear which version of Robin from the comics the film was referring to. Given how Robin is infamously beaten and blown up by the Joker in “A Death in the Family,†many naturally assumed the DCEU's Robin was Jason Todd. However, it was eventually revealed that Dick Grayson, not Jason Todd was killed by the Joker in Snyder's vision for the characters. In the comics, Dick Grayson takes on the mantel of Robin before eventually becoming Nightwing and in many ways, Batman’s successor.

Dick Grayson’s death is very much uncharted territory and something fans want to know more about. Snyder was asked on Vero (via Heroic Hollywood) whether his version of Justice League will explore Dick Grayson’s death. Specifically, a fan asked, "did you have plans to dive deeper into the background of Dick's death in your future movies? Maybe JL?" Snyder responded, "a hint in JL," suggesting the Snyder Cut of Justice League may explore the topic.

Once a rumor, now a reality, Snyder's Justice League will be coming to HBO Max in 2021. The original post-production crew is reuniting to complete the score, dialogue, and visual effects on Snyder's rough cut from 2017. Snyder had originally envisioned a Justice League that was much longer than the theatrical release. Thanks in large part to viral demand for the Snyder Cut, the director can now realize his vision as either one 4-hour film or multiple TV episodes.

When Joss Whedon took over for Snyder in 2017, it had a dramatic effect on the DCEU. Whedon’s final product left much to be desired; his Justice League didn’t feel like a faithful part of Snyder’s planned arc. At this point, the DCEU feels largely dissembled, with films like The Batman and Black Adam shaping up to be spiritual resets. Before the announcement of Snyder’s Justice League, the Robin Easter egg from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice seemed like a moot point. Any plans Snyder had for Carrie Kelley’s Robin or a Nightwing movie appeared to have been scrapped. But, even if Dick Grayson doesn’t have a future beyond Snyder’s Justice League, hopefully fans will learn more about his demise.

15 Best Murder Mystery Movies, Ranked | ScreenRant

Whodunits and murder mystery movies are making a big comeback these days. Two years ago we saw the star-studded Murder on the Orient Express, which was successful enough to warrant a sequel, Death on the Nile, due next October.

RELATED: 10 British Murder Mysteries You Need To Watch

Of course, right in front of us is Knives Out, the A-list murder mystery whodunit opening this Thanksgiving weekend. The Rian Johnson film stars Chris Evans, Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, and many more. To sharpen our investigative focus before the film comes out, here are the 10 best murder mystery movies (aka Whodunits), ranked!

Updated on June 15th, 2020 by Richard Keller:A good murder mysterykeeps you in your seat from beginning to the end credits. Leave, and there's a chance you'll miss an important clue. The movie mysteries on this list have that gripping characteristic in common. Here are a few more of the best murder mysteries, ranked.

15 Rear Window (1954)

Alfred Hitchcock directed some of the greatest murder mystery/thriller films in the 20th century. One of his best is Rear Window. Based on a short story by Cornell Woolrich, the film focuses on Jimmy Stewart's character, Jeff Jeffries. Confined to a wheelchair due to a broken leg, he starts to notice strange things in an apartment on the other side of the courtyard.

Believing its occupant murdered his wife, Jeff enlists the help of his girlfriend, played by Grace Kelly, and his housekeeper to determine if it's true. The tension continues to increase until a confrontation between Jeffries and the alleged murderer, played by Raymond Burr. You'll find yourself holding your breath at the end.

14 Murder Mystery (2019)

As he's matured, Adam Sandler has gone beyond baby-talk characters and focused on ones with a little more depth. In Netflix's Murder Mystery, Sandler delves into the comedy thriller along with Jennifer Anniston.

To rekindle their marriage, Sandler and Anniston's characters go on a European vacation. Along the way, they're framed for the death of an elderly billionaire. Now on the run, the married couple must clear their name and solve the mystery behind the older man's death.

13 Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005)

Robert Downey Jr. returned to the big screen in 2005 in the comedy thriller Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. RDJ plays Harry Lockhart, a thief who is mistakenly recognized as an actor. As a result, he's sent to Hollywood to work on a movie mystery.

He partners with a private investigator for experience. While working with him, Lockhart gets involved in a mystery involving his childhood crush, Harmony. When found, things quickly unwind into laughs mixed with humor and murder.

12 Happy Death Day (2017)

A lot goes on in Happy Death Day. First, the main character, Tree, is murdered during the first few minutes of the film. Then, in Groundhog Day fashion, she wakes up in her bed and starts the same day over again. Along the way, she gathers clues to determine who the killer is behind the babyface mask.

In the end, Happy Death Day is a combination of horror, slasher film, science fiction, and comedy. There's also romance and a good deal of college dorm satire. Like Groundhog Day, Tree's personality changes as she relives each horrible day.

11 Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988)

People forget this Robert Zemeckis film is not simply a live-action/animated comedy. It's also a tribute to the hard-boiled murder mysteries of the 1940s. The tortured P.I. Eddie Valiant, played by Bob Hoskins, is asked to check on a rumor that the wife of "toon" Roger Rabbit is having an affair.

This leads to the murder of R.K. Maroon, founder of Maroon Studios. As a result, Valiant needs to reach out to the toon community to find the culprit. Overall, the movie is a fun mystery that features the first time Disney and Warner Brothers cartoon characters appeared together.

10 The Name Of The Rose (1986)

Sean Connery stars in the superb and stylish exotic murder mystery The Name of the Rose, based on the novel by acclaimed Italian scribe Umberto Eco. Even after his days as 007, Connery couldn't help but save the day!

Set in a secluded Abbey in 1327, the plot concerns a Franciscan friar (Connery) who is summoned to investigate the mysterious deaths of several monks. As the friar comes closer to solving the case, the more danger he finds himself facing. With time and lives running out, the friar must acquit the falsely accused while identifying the true killer.

9 Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993)

Woody Allen's Manhattan Murder Mystery is a hilarious homage to the classic whodunits of yesteryear. While the film features Allen's trademark wit, the tension and paranoia ratchet up in the second half in ways that rival the best of the subgenre.

RELATED: 15 Stars Who Regret Working With Woody Allen

When their next-door neighbor suddenly dies of a heart attack, Larry and Carol Lipton suspect her husband secretly killed her. As they snoop around to confirm their suspicions, they become increasingly paranoid and convinced of foul-play. Unpredictable twists and turns come in equal measure with the laughter as the Liptons stumble to solve the crime.

8 The Mirror Crack'd (1980)

One could argue the merits of the best Miss Marple murder mystery ever made, but when all is said and done, few can outshine The Mirror Crack'd. Besides, the movie stars Tony Curtis, father of Knives Out star Jamie Lee. Circularity, folks!

Starring Angela Lansbury as the definitive Miss Marple, the movie revolves around the lethal intoxication of a local English woman. Marple is summoned to investigate the death, which she quickly deduces was meant for a movie star in attendance at the house. The movie marks the first time Lansbury would play the iconic Miss Marple.

7 Gosford Park (2001)

The great Robert Altman employed the structural aesthetic of the murder mystery to explore English class divisions in Gosford Park. Boasting an all-star cast, the film follows a lavish dinner party in 1932 England, held at a gaudy country estate.

While the affluent partygoers enjoy themselves upstairs, the working class maids and servants toil downstairs below. When a mysterious murder suddenly occurs, allegiances shift, loyalties halt, and soon, it's every man and woman for themself. Devious, elegant, and downright salient.

6 Death On The Nile (1978)

Agatha Christie's classic murder mystery Death on the Nile marked the first time the great Peter Ustinov played super-sleuth Hercule Poirot. He would reprise the role in Evil Under the Sun in 1982.

RELATED: 10 Things That Make No Sense About Murder, She Wrote

The film, which won an Oscar for Best Costume Design, is set on a luxury cruise-ship sightseeing along the Nile River in Africa. When a newly hitched rich woman is found dead onboard, Poirot is called in to investigate. In a bit of foreshadowing, Angela Lansbury stars in the film as Salome Otterbourne. Two years later, she'd begin her run as classic Christie character, Miss Marple.

5 Identity (2003)

The clues of Identity are right in the title. And yet, by the time the credits rolled, very few people were able to put the pieces together in the enthralling James Mangold whodunit.

During a torrential downpour in Nevada, ten strangers convene at a secluded roadside motel. When the strangers begin to die, one by one, answers are hard to come by. In a rather odd coincidence, all of the guests share the same birthday, May 10th, which adds to the maddening mystery. No spoilers, but the film provides an exhilarating twist on the murder mystery template.

4 Clue (1985)

Movies based on board games shouldn't be this good, but due to the awesome cast, killer chemistry, and crackling dialogue, Clue is among the most beloved and best all-time murder mystery movies!

With a satirical tone, the movie finds several so-called strangers invited to an ominous mansion for a dinner party. Each guest remains anonymous through a colorful codename, and soon learn that they're being blackmailed for sensitive information each holds. When the guests start dying, one by one, it's anyone's clue as to who the culprit is.

3 Murder By Death (1976)

Peerless playwright Neil Simon threw his hat in the murder mystery ring with the farcical Murder By Death, a movie that does more right in jest than most do in earnest!

RELATED: Murder She, Wrote: 10 Best Episodes (According To IMDB)

Much like Clue, the plot concerns a handful of strangers summoned to a lavish mansion to solve a bizarre mystery. The difference is, each person is a famous detective, accompanied by their quirky assistants. The A-list ensemble includes Alec Guinness, Truman Capote, Peter Sellers, Peter Falk, Eileen Brennan (also in Clue), Maggie Smith, David Niven and more. With twist after twist and prank after prank, you'll never see the ending coming.

2 Murder On The Orient Express (1974)

The late great Sidney Lumet directed an all-star cast in the sublime adaptation of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express in 1974. For her role, Ingrid Bergman won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

Albert Finney plays Hercule Poirot in the film, the infamous Belgian sleuth who is brought aboard the Orient Express when a murder takes place inside a train car. Those implicated in the end will surprise you more than most murder mysteries. The film was nominated for six Oscars in total, including Finney for Best Leading Actor.

1 And Then There Were None (1945)

With And Then There Were None, Agatha Christie proves she's the all-time best muse for cinematic movie mysteries. Remade as Ten Little Indians two decades later, And Then There Were None all but invented the murder mystery movie.

Made in 1945, the film follows seven strangers summoned to an island by a vanished host. One by one, the guests begin to be murdered, leaving the survivors to figure out the killer's identity. Simply put, without this movie the others on the list would cease to be. And then there were none indeed!

Bachelor Diversity Campaign Responds to Matt James Casting

The Bachelor Diversity Campaign is calling for continued change after Matt James was named season 25’s Bachelor. The pick was announced on Good Morning America on Friday.

James will be the first Black bachelor in The Bachelor franchise’s 18-year history. Producers became aware of James through his long time friendship with Tyler Cameron, one of the contestants on The Bachelorette season 14. James was set to be one of the men vying for Clare Crawley’s heart on the next season of The Bachelorette before he was chosen to lead season 25 of The Bachelor. The announcement came soon after The Bachelor Diversity Campaign announced its campaign. One of their original goals was to have a black bachelor cast for season 25. Season 13 Bachelorette and ‘Bachelor Happy Hour’ co-host, Rachel Lindsay, has also been adamantly calling for the franchise to prioritize diversity. She called the announcement of James' casting as the bachelor a “knee-jerk” reaction.

Related:The Bachelor Producers, Chris Harrison Say They'll Highlight Diversity

In their statement, the campaign highlighted the need to avoid tokenizing James and any other contestants who will appear on the season. They advise ABC and Warner Bros. to be mindful of how they’re portraying contestants as to avoid harmful stereotypes or “exotification.†This would include exploiting James’ or any other character’s race or ethnicity for the purpose of a storyline. “We expect that his season will permanently usher in more equitable casting, screentime, and representation to the Bachelor franchise,†the statement read.

The campaign is also pushing producers to take “an active role in the education of their viewers about racism and the corresponding injustices still heartbreakingly salient in our country today.†This will be especially poignant as countries across the globe respond to police brutality and racism in the United States. Some have called this time “a reckoning†when it comes to racial issues that have long been brushed under the rug. Pressure from protesters has lead to widespread change in many industries, including reality TV.

King of Staten Island: What Happened To Pete Davidson's Father In Real Life

Pete Davidson's character inThe King Of Staten Islandlost his firefighter father in a similar way to how the comedian's real-life dad passed away. The movie focuses on Scott Carlin, a fictionalized version of Davidson who struggles to find direction in life while coming to terms with the loss of his firefighter father 17 years prior. The film's story is based largely on Davidson's real-life experiences, but diverges from the true story in many ways. One of the biggest parallels between the Judd Apatow-directed film and Davidson's actual story is the loss of his father.

The popular comedian has been candid in both interviews and his stand-up specials about his father's, Scott Matthew Davidson's, untimely death. And while The King Of Staten Island – which skipped theaters and went straight to VOD services – incorporates much from Davidson's real life, the firefighter dad storyline isn't a truly accurate retelling of what happened to Scott Davidson.

Related: King Of Staten Island True Story: How Much Is Accurate To Pete Davidson's Life

The real-life version of the character was indeed an NYC firefighter who passed away on September 11, 2001 in the attack on the World Trade Center. In The King of Staten Island, Scott's dad, Stan Carlin, is said to have died in the "Paramount Hotel Fire" when Scott was much younger. And while the loss of Stan Carlin causes the fictional Scott Carlin to face many of the same issues as Pete Davidson, the details of Stan's demise obviously differ drastically from actual events. Before his death, Scott Davidson worked at Ladder Company 118 in Brooklyn Heights‚ New York. He started his career in 1994‚ and was sent to the World Trade Center after the second hijacked plane struck the twin towers on September 11, 2001 - when Davidson was just seven years old. Scott Davidson was reportedly last seen entering the Marriott World Trade Center hotel to help trapped guests before the building was crushed by the collapsing towers.

Much of the The King Of Staten Island's story revolves around the lingering trauma created by the loss of Scott's father, and mirrors the real-life struggles of its lead actor. The comedian has been open about his personal issues since losing his father, despite revealing in one of his early Comedy Central standup shows that he "was lucky it happened when [he] was seven" because at that age "you don't understand things." In the years since Scott Davidson's passing, his son has revealed that he's been visiting mental health facilities since the age of nine and that he tried to drown himself in a pool shortly after his father's death.

These issues have followed the Saturday Night Live star into adulthood, where he's had some public struggles with mental health and spoken about being diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. One of the most troubling public episodes happened in 2018 when the then 25-year-old posted a suicidal social media message saying he didn't "want to be on this earth any more." Luckily, the comedian, who has his father’s badge number, 8418, tattooed on his left arm, has been supported by his numerous friends and colleagues within the comedy and entertainment industry. But one of the most striking aspects of The King of Staten Island is how it imagines a version of Davidson who never becomes a successful comedian, thereby exploring how the troubled Staten Island-native might have dealt with losing his father without having established a successful entertainment career. While the details of Scott Carlin's death differ from the real-life Scott Davidson's, the emotions addressed in the film remain as real as anything else from Davidson's tragic but inspiring real-life story.

Or just a humble man?” said Cantwell. “Tony’s going to try and strip the idea of Iron Man all the way down to its metal core, something that will constantly be at odds with his giant ego. We’ll see if he can truly keep his arrogant self-image in check, even as others with god complexes set their sights on the entire universe.”

Life isn’t always that simple, something that old friends and frustrating foes are quick to point out. If you strip a billionaire down to his bolts, does he run solid…or just overheat?

This Daredevil Supervillain Is The NEW Protector of Hell's Kitchen

This article contains spoilers forDaredevil #20.

Daredevil just teamed up with Hell's Kitchen's most unlikely protector - Typhoid Mary. A classic Marvel villain, Typhoid Mary is one of Daredevil's most disturbing foes. Abused as a child, Typhoid Mary developed dissociative identity disorder, meaning several different personas war within her mind. Making matters worse, she's a dangerous mutant with a combination of telekinetic and pyrokinetic abilities. All this makes her one seriously unstable individual.

The relationship between Daredevil and Typhoid Mary has always been a complicated one. Although she's frequently worked for the Kingpin, Mary developed an attraction to Daredevil. He used this against her, seducing her and tricking her into bed; feeling safe, she reverted to her baseline "Mary" persona, and Daredevil then had her taken away in a straitjacket. She's crossed paths with countless superheroes over the years, even becoming a member of the Sisterhood of Evil Mutants in order to take on the X-Men. One of her most disturbing stories saw her befriend Mary Jane Watson, Spider-Man's wife, and the wall-crawler persuaded her to seek treatment.

Related:Daredevil Could Actually SEE, But He Chooses Not To

When Kingpin became Mayor of New York, he decided to give Mary a chance of peace. He transformed her into Sister Elizabeth, one of the nuns of Hell's Kitchen, where she did indeed find a measure of happiness. Until this week's Daredevil #20, that is, when the Stromwyn twins - rich developers - send a squad of super-villains to level Hell's Kitchen. The violence awakens Typhoid Mary once again, but to Daredevil's surprise, she doesn't wreak havoc. Rather, she stands in defense of Hell's Kitchen, preventing the Rhino leveling the church.

All this leads to one of the most unexpected team-ups of Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto's run so far, as Daredevil and Typhoid Mary work together to keep the church safe. Mary's pyrokinesis isn't strong enough to hurt Rhino, but it causes him to lose his temper and chase her. She leads Rhino to the docks, using her telepathy to keep him focused entirely upon her, and tricks him into the river. Unfortunately, it turns out Rhino can swim, and he's soon giving chase to Typhoid Mary once again.

Typhoid Mary isn't enough to save the day, but she gives Daredevil the breathing space he needs to concentrate and figure out how to win his greatest victory. Soon, the Man Without Fear is taking on a team of villains more dangerous than ever before, standing in defense of Hell's Kitchen once again. And without Typhoid Mary, he'd never have been able to win.

Before we get started, it's important to note that there is often debate over what is formally considered a sitcom. While some argue that comedy-dramas and animations don't count, others stick to a looser definition, such as the one in the Merriam-Webster dictionary; It defines sitcoms as, Ã¢Â€Âœa television series that involves a continuing cast of characters in a succession of comedic circumstances.†This is the definition we'll be sticking to for simplicity sake. Because of this, expect some non-traditional sitcoms to be making the list.

Finally, it's worth noting that we will only be including American comedies in this lineup. With the logistics out of the way, it’s time to take a trip through comedic TV history; Here are the greatest sitcoms of all time, according to IMDb.

Updated by Nicole Mello on June 14, 2020: With such an incredible lineup of series to chose from, we thought it would be a good idea to update our list of IMDb's best sitcoms. If you've already made your way through the best, we've included a few additional entries to round out your watchlist!

15 Parks and Recreation (8.6)

Coming in at a low (for this list) 8.6, Parks and Recreation blazes into the list of the best sitcoms of all time (according to IMDb) despite having ended only five years ago. When Parks and Recreation first began airing in April of 2009, many considered it a knock-off of The Office, which had been on the air for four years at that point.

However, after a so-so first season, Parks and Recreation really hit its stride in season two, and from there worked its way into the hearts of fans everywhere to become an instant classic.

14 The Simpsons (8.7)

Though some might fight to say The Simpsons doesn’t count as a sitcom, it absolutely fits the definition as we’ve already given it. We told you to expect unconventional additions, and here’s a classic! The Simpsons is even considered to be the longest-running American sitcom ever, as well as the longest-running American scripted primetime television series.

Many fans say the golden age of The Simpsons has long passed, but countless awards and nostalgic favorites keep The Simpsons high on the list of best sitcoms of all time.

13 South Park (8.7)

Another unconventional addition to this list of sitcoms, South Park has had an undeniable influence on American culture. Even those who don’t watch the show know catchphrases like, “You killed Kenny!â€Â

Like The Simpsons, South Park had its golden age that fans consider as having already passed, but that doesn’t mean it’s still not just as cool or important to audiences that enjoy this program as it’s always been. With an IMDb rating of 8.7, South Park’s longevity and overall quality is undeniable.

12 Curb Your Enthusiasm (8.7)

In 1999, Larry David released a one-hour special entitled Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm, intended to be a one-off mockumentary-style program. That one hour of content became the series Curb Your Enthusiasm, an iconic HBO series that first aired in 2000 and has since become a cult classic.

Though the series is not done in the mockumentary style so much as the special was, this dark comedy uses improvisational work from some of the best comedians of our time, including (of course) Larry David, Jeff Garlin, and Cheryl Hines.

11 Bojack Horseman (8.7)

Talk about an unexpected addition to this list: Bojack Horseman was the little engine that could from the get-go. In a world where most audiences consider animated programming to be “kids’ TV,†Bojack defied the odds and introduced viewers to a world where humans and animals interact interchangeably, visual puns are plentiful, and dark topics can still be explored.

Bojack Horseman stunned audiences with both a compelling first season and consistent quality through its Netflix run. With the end of Bojack comes the end of an era of good, solid, high-quality original Netflix programming, sadly enough.

10 Seinfeld (8.8)

Kicking things off is perhaps the most influential sitcom of all time, Seinfeld. Often referred to as a show about nothing, this series follows a group of friends, including a fictionalized version of comedian Jerry Seinfeld, who live life together in New York City.

The show received 180 episodes over nine seasons between 1989 and 1998 and a legacy that's just as large. Breaking the conventional rules of sitcoms that came before it, Seinfeld paved the way for the genre's future.

9 Freaks And Geeks (8.8)

Though this one falls into comedy-drama territory, we thought it was worth a shout-out. After all, though it aired for a single 18-episode season on NBC, it received universal acclaim. Freaks and Geeks tells of a smart high school student who becomes friends with a group of slackers in Detroit during the early '80s.

The 1999-2000 series was canceled quickly because it failed to gain a sizeable audience, likely due to its inconsistent scheduling. Despite this, Freaks and Geeks was a notable entry in the early careers of actors including James Franco, Seth Rogan, Jason Segel, and Busy Phillips.

8 Arrested Development (8.8)

If you think your family is dysfunctional, you clearly haven't met the Bluths. Arrested Development follows Michael Bluth, who tries to manage the family business after his father gets put in prison for illegal activities. As it turns out, however, the wealthy Californian family has more than one major issue to deal with.

Though the series' Fox viewership was low between 2003 and 2006, the first three seasons received critical acclaim for featuring dense humor, a talented cast, and outlandish situations. A fourth season was added to Netflix in 2013 and a fifth season was released in 2018 and '19.

7 The Office (8.8)

It's time to drive over to Scranton, Pennsylvania, where we're celebrating this mockumentary about a paper company called Dunder Mifflin. Adapted from the BBC series of the same name, The Office follows the lives of the employees at the Scranton Branch, who are managed by their eccentric boss, Michael Scott.

With a compelling cast, hilarious situations, memorable characters, and a touch of romance, this sitcom had something for everyone. It aired for nine seasons on NBC from 2005 to 2013, ending with one heck of a finale.

6 It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia (8.8)

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia began airing in 2005, and 14 seasons later, it's still going strong. The show follows an egocentric friend group that keeps up a neighborhood Irish Bar in South Philly.

Always Sunny has tied The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet as the longest-running live-action American sitcom of all time. With clever writing and offbeat humor, fans continue to come back for more.

5 The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (8.8)

This web series about a 1950s Jewish American housewife who sets out to become a standup comedian in New York received much acclaim after its release on Amazon Prime Video.

With fresh dialogue, a charming lead, and a female-centric story, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has a lot going for it. The show's third season became available in December 2019, and a fourth is on the way.

4 Cobra Kai (8.8)

Cobra Kai is another one of those shows that falls a little more toward the drama side than the comedy one. Nevertheless, we thought it deserved a place on the list. Cobra Kai continues the story of the Karate Kid films, taking place 34 years after the events of the original. In it, Johnny Lawrence decides to open the Cobra Kai dojo back up, which causes his former rivalry with Daniel LaRusso to reignite.

The YouTube Premium show was praised by viewers for featuring fleshed-out characters and reviving the excitement of the original series. Two seasons have been aired, and a third is in the works.

3 Friends (8.9)

The highest-rated live-action sitcom of all time is none other than Friends. If you're surprised by that, you shouldn't be; The show ran for ten seasons between 1994 and 2004 and continues to gain attention from nostalgic fans.

The series displayed the everyday lives of six young adults who attempt to navigate the ups and downs of Manhattan city life. Though early critics found the humor to be average, the reviews picked up as the chemistry and charm of the cast stole the show. It remains a pop-culture staple.

2 Gravity Falls (8.9)

This highly acclaimed mystery-comedy series aired on Disney Channel and Disney XD for two seasons between 2012 and 2016. Though it was aimed at older kids, it was definitely not just a kid's show.

The series focuses on Dipper and his twin sister Mabel, who enjoy their summer vacation in Gravity Falls, Oregon, with their great uncle. Here, they run a local tourist trap while uncovering the secrets behind the paranormal activity in town. Mixing warmth, wit, pop culture, and charm, the show received many positive reviews. The show ended not because there wasn't interest but because the series' creator wanted to give the characters a well-crafted ending.

1 Rick And Morty (9.3)

Topping things off as the highest-rated sitcom of all time is Rick and Morty. This animated adult sci-fi comedy follows the journeys of mad scientist Rick and his 14-year-old grandson Morty as they travel through various dimensions and realities.

The show first began airing in 2013 on Adult Swim, and the comedy is now midway-through its fourth season. With offbeat humor and original writing, fans' love for the show continues to grow.

Wolverine and Elektra Had A Deadly Daughter | Screen Rant

Logan likes to think of himself as the resident loner of the X-Men, but despite his tough exterior, Wolverine has had multiples lovers and an entire littler of children that span throughout the various Marvel Universes. Not only does Logan have his mutant sons Daken and Erista in the main Marvel universe, he also has his clone X-23 and children in the alternate MC2, Ultimate, Mutant X, Earth-13729, Earth-295 and Earth-9811 universes.

The MC2 Universe, also known as Earth-982, produced many kids of superheroes in the alternate timeline. In the MC2 universe, Wolverine actually settles down for a while with non other than the deadly assassin Elektra. One of the key children from this timeline is Rina Logan, also known as Wild Thing, who is the daughter that Wolverine and Elektra have together. As well as Wolverine and Elektra's child from their marriage, the MCU2 universe is where you can find Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson's daughter Spider-Girl and Juggernauts son J2. The MC2 titles started off with comics about Spider-Girl and Juggernaut's son J2, with Rina Logan eventually getting her own series of comics known as Wild Thing. Rina's story-lines include being the superhero of her school, stopping demons and destroying sentinels.

Rina is unmistakably Logan and Elektra's child in the comics. Not only does she have Elektra's long dark hair, but also her superhero outfit is very similar to that of her Dad's classic brown and yellow costume and she has also inherited her father's hairstyle. Being the offspring of two of the deadliest characters in the Marvel universe was always going to mean that Rina Logan would grow up to be a badass, but the combination of the two heroes produces a dangerous weapon. Wild Thing is a skilled martial artist like her mother, but also has the famous regenerative powers of Logan. She does have claws, but there are big differences between Rina's and Wolverine's claws. Rather than being solid blades that protrude from beneath her skin, Wild Thing's claws form the shape of Elektra's favorite weapon (her sais) and are more like Psylocke's physic knives than actual claws.

Rina is not the only child that Logan produces in the MC2 universe. Rina has a half brother called Hudson Logan, also known as Saberclaw, after Wolverine cheated on Elektra. It is not clear who Hudson's mother is, but the powers and appearance of Saberclaw are very similar to that of Logan. Unlike Wild Thing Saberclaw is more of a villain, being a member of the group the Revengers, who are frequently seen battling the Avengers in the comics.

Wild thing and Saberclaw are not Logan's only alternate universe children. In the Ultimate Universe run of comics, Jimmy Hudson was introduced as the son of Logan and Magda Lensherr, who is better known in the comics as the mother of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. In Earth-9811, Wolverine forms and unlikely coupling with Storm and has another daughter called Kendall Logan, who possesses both the weather manipulating powers of Storm and healing factor of Logan. Another love affair Wolverine had was in Earth-13729 with Mystique. The child was known as Raze Darkholme, and he used his shape-shifting and bone-claw powers for evil rather than good. There seems to be an endless list of children Wolverine has spawned in the Marvel universe. For someone that considers himself a lone wolf, Wolverine sure does get around.
